Today I have a review of the fabulous @ysl skin velvet radical matte lipstick in the shade 302 Brown no way back. I received this complimentary from Bzzagent but these are my honest opinions. Details: This long wearing lipstick is formulated to be semi-matte, pigmented comfortable to wear. It definitely looks feels expensive with a beautiful chic lipstick case the YSL logo prominently displayed. The color is true to description, a beautiful deep brick red color. One layer provides a nice level of pigmentation that can be built up for an even richer color application. The one thing I noticed is that I personally found the square bullet shape to make it harder to apply this lipstick to my lips without going outside of my natural lip line because of the squared off edges. I’m hoping with more practice I will learn to apply it more precisely. This lipstick is incredibly comfortable to wear! It’s not thick, drying, or sticky. It feels like I’m wearing almost nothing with a light layer of hydration. This does transfer some when eating or drinking but still leaves behind a lovely stain of the color. I did have to reapply but only after eating my meal. It layers well doesn’t feel heavy. Overall: This is a luxurious, gorgeous brown red lipstick that is pigmented, comfortable hydrating. I love the lipstick tube packaging the only thing I can nit pick is the square bullet tube. It makes it harder for me to apply this lipstick precisely. It retails for 39 which is quite steep for a lipstick so it’s definitely a luxury buy. 4.5/5.0

Comfortable and Helpful Product Design

I was pleasantly surprised with this lipstick. Most mattes I wear are drying and make my lips feel uncomfortably dry, but this one was a bit more comfortable to wear. I got this in Psychedelic Chili and expected some staining after wearing the product but it really didn’t stain too much (disclaimer: I do put on a primer under matte products so that may have helped prevent staining). I will say that it is not super long lasting, but that’s to be expected with a lipstick. The packaging is gorgeous and functional. I love how slim it is because it makes it easy to travel with or throw in your purse. The angled square shape of the product itself makes it incredibly user friendly. I will definitely purchase this product in more neutral shades for everyday wear once I run out of my current products. Can’t wait to see how the other shades wear!

Gorgeous shade

I recently received Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture The Slim Matte Lipstick - 416-Psychedelic Chili from bzz agent to try and review and I absolutely love it! This shade is a deep red and gorgeous shade that complements my skin tone. By the way my skin tone is light to medium, but I think this would go well with every skin tone. Which is really rare when it comes to a red shade, especially a deep red. I honestly don't usually choose reds because I struggle with finding shades that pair well with my skin tone, but i absolutely recommend trying this one. The shape of the bullet is a bit awkward at first but isn't hard to get used to and is pretty useful for the cupid's bow. The formula is smooth and very lightweight even after a few layers. It reapplies evenly and uniformly as well with no product buildup or texture. My lips tend to be very dry and this formula felt extremely comfortable throughout the day and never got flakey. The Perfect Holiday Shade

I received this product for free. All opinions are my own. This is a stunning shade of red - a muted rouge that is perfect for the holiday season. I wore shade 416 the other day without any makeup (see attached picture) and it made me feel so confident and beautiful. The pop of color is gorgeous for my skin tone (Mac NC45) and I love the lightweight feel of the lipstick, especially during these drier months when you don't want something really heavy and matte on your lips. While this is advertised as a matte lipstick, it's truly not. There is some residue left and it will smudge after one application - if you're ok with that, then this lipstick is perfect for you. The design of the tube/package makes it hard to ap

I loved the shade 205 however it was sorta drying which made me feel as if it may have been old, but that is not why I returned it- I returned it for the same reason I purchased it lOl! The unique gorgeous packaging, might be unique but not efficient at applying the lipstick flawlessly. Because it's square/rectangular it is messy and would go outside the lines of my lips like I could not find a way to apply it and stay in between the lines. I mean yes you could use a brush. I actually would have but due to it being a bit dry I didn't think that would be easy. I wanted to love this I did. Especially being my first YSL makeup product. I do recommend this but for people with bigger/fuller lips or if you don't care about using a lip brush then go for it.
