Yves Saint Laurent - Rouge Pur Couture The Slim Leather Matte Lipstick

I received this complimentary in exchange for my honest review from bzzagent. I gave this the ultimate test. With having a cold, my lips were slightly rough. This didn't make my lips feel anymore gritty which can tend to happen with a Matte formula or when you have a cold. Nor did my lips feel tighter which can sometimes happen with a Matte formula. This is not a kiss proof formula. I did give it a test by blotting my lips on the back of my hand. When rubbing the print away the color did stay behind a bit. But there was minimal print on my glass. For a Matte lipstick that is not designed to be a color stay, I think this is a great formula. I recently received Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture The Slim Matte Lipstick - 416-Psychedelic Chili from bzz agent to try and review and I absolutely love it! This shade is a deep red and gorgeous shade that complements my skin tone. By the way my skin tone is light to medium, but I think this would go well with every skin tone. Which is really rare when it comes to a red shade, especially a deep red. I honestly don't usually choose reds because I struggle with finding shades that pair well with my skin tone, but i absolutely recommend trying this one. Comfortable Formula and Helpful Product Design

I was pleasantly surprised with this lipstick. Most mattes I wear are drying and make my lips feel uncomfortably dry, but this one was a bit more comfortable to wear. I got this in Psychedelic Chili and expected some staining after wearing the product but it really didn't stain too much (disclaimer: I do put on a primer under matte products so that may have helped prevent staining). I will say that it is not super long lasting, but that's to be expected with a lipstick.The packaging is gorgeous and functional. I am very pale and have never and I mean never been able to pull off a red lipstick. Until now! This is the prettiest most perfect for any skin tone red lipstick I have ever seen or heard of. The YSL Rouge Pur Couture The Slim Matte Lipstick in 33 Orange Desire is so beautiful and sleek. It will fit in the smallest pockets of your purse or jeans. It's perfect. I know it's called orange but it's more of a warm red that glides easily on the lips and is hydrating and just gorgeous. This will definitely be a staple in my makeup bag from now on. I've never fallen in love with a red lipstick before so my friends and family when they see me are just shocked because I am normally always wearing a pink or brown. This is a stunning shade of red - a muted rouge that is perfect for the holiday season. I wore shade 416 the other day without any makeup (see attached picture) and it made me feel so confident and beautiful. The pop of color is gorgeous for my skin tone (Mac NC45) and I love the lightweight feel of the lipstick, especially during these drier months when you don't want something really heavy and matte on your lips. While this is advertised as a matte lipstick, it's truly not. There is some residue left and it will smudge after one application - if you're ok with that, then this lipstick is perfect for you.
