Yves Saint Laurent - Rouge Pur Couture The Slim Leather Matte Lipstick

Where to start?! The packaging is pure luxury, gold and black, you can't go wrong. The square shape of the lipstick truly helps in contouring the lips for an optimal result (in the photo posted, I hadnt used this technique yet, as I wanted to test the color ASAP!). The consistency is perfect, matt finish but the lips stay hydrated. No stickiness whatsoever. It's not "kiss proof" but I tested the durability by eating an oily lunch and it stayed in place well. I only had to quickly retouch the internal part of my lips. For non greasy meals I can see it staying perfectly on. It doesn't migrate and the color is a true, perfect, red. Not too bright, not too dark. The pigment is rich and you won't need much product to obtain the deep color you like. I highly recommend ... MoreWhere to start?! The first thing I noticed about the Slim Glow Matte was how easy it swiped on; it didn’t feel as heavy, cakey or dry as matte lipsticks often do. I have a love affair with matte lipsticks, and this product has quickly become one of my favorites. Even though the lipstick is technically matte, it has a super creamy, hydrating feel and gives a soft, velvet-like glow when applied. While the formula is amazing, the color is what really hooked me. Rouge Pur Couture is truly the perfect. It looks like a played-up version of my natural lip color and the red wine. To say I’m obsessed with this would be an understatement. Instead, it went on as easily as a balm or gloss without any finessing required. Recommend it

Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture The Slim Matte Lipstick - 33-Orange Desire is a gorgeous shade of deep rusty red orange that looks great with my complexion and undertone. I prefer matte lip color because it lasts longer, but sometimes the formula can be drawing. This lipstick was rich, moisturizing, and had bold vivid color, that did not dry out my lips. Comfortable and Helpful Product Design

I was pleasantly surprised with this lipstick. Most mattes I wear are drying and make my lips feel uncomfortably dry, but this one was a bit more comfortable to wear. I got this in Psychedelic Chili and expected some staining after wearing the product but it really didn’t stain too much (disclaimer: I do put on a primer under matte products so that may have helped prevent staining). I will say that it is not super long lasting, but that’s to be expected with a lipstick.The packaging is gorgeous and functional. I love how slim it is because it makes it easy to travel with or throw in your purse. The angled square shape of the product itself makes it incredibly user friendly. I recently received Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture The Slim Matte Lipstick - 416-Psychedelic Chili from bzz agent to try and review and I absolutely love it! This shade is a deep red and gorgeous shade that complements my skin tone. By the way my skin tone is light to medium, but I think this would go well with every skin tone. Which is really rare when it comes to a red shade, especially a deep red. I honestly don't usually choose reds because I struggle with finding shades that pair well with my skin tone, but i absolutely recommend trying this one. I am very pale and have never and I mean never been able to pull off a red lipstick. Until now! This is the prettiest most perfect for any skin tone red lipstick I have ever seen or heard of. The YSL Rouge Pur Couture The Slim Matte Lipstick in 33 Orange Desire is so beautiful and sleek. It will fit in the smallest pockets of your purse or jeans. It's perfect. I know it's called orange but it's more of a warm red that glides easily on the lips and is hydrating and just gorgeous. This will definitely be a staple in my makeup bag from now on. I've never fallen in love with a red lipstick before so my friends and family when they see me are just shocked because I am normally always wearing a pink or brown. The colour name and description are a bit misleading. It's a coral that isn't scary bright, but rather a lovely wearable pop of colour. It's super pigmented so one layer is plenty. The comfortable matte formula isn't drying and lasts all day, unless you have oily noodles for lunch. The stain it leaves behind is still decent if you forget it at home and can't reapply. The sharp edges on the bullet are awesome for precise application, but it takes a second to get used to.I would never pay $50 for lipstick so getting it half off was not an opportunity I wasn't going to pass on. This is the boujeest lipstick I own and I love it so much, I might consider paying full price!

I wore shade 416 the other day without any makeup (see attached picture) and it made me feel so confident and beautiful. The pop of color is gorgeous for my skin tone (Mac NC45) and I love the lightweight feel of the lipstick, especially during these drier months when you don't want something really heavy and matte on your lips. While this is advertised as a matte lipstick, it's truly not. There is some residue left and it will smudge after one application - if you're ok with that, then this lipstick is perfect for you.
