I ordered the shifter knowing it was slightly more expensive than usual but the box arrived with everything including the blanking plate to replace the clear one that shows which gear you are in. A lot of reviewers on other sites mention this never came in the box and it costs more money to order it. I cant write a review on the shifter yet as it is in the LBS getting sorted.

Great shifter from Shimano & nice to look at. Two options come supplied, a gear selector or standard xt face plate. Precious shifting at a great price point & even better that’s it’s available still for 11 speed
I had SRAM GX for a while, but as time went on, it got harder to dial in which made indexing a nightmare.Replaced with XT derailleur and shifter and had it indexed in minutes. In comparison, the XT shifter feels like a heavy click into the next gear, whereas the GX was a smoother transition. But Shimano is so much easier to set up.Delivered super quick by Bike Tart.
Crips, and very nice shifting feel, precise. Metal lever feels robust and easy to use with the dimples on the lever, so its good in gloves and without gloves as well.
