As expected, it zests lemons. Much better results than using a paring knife or a cheese grater. You will want to do something with the rest of the fruit, though. With no "skin" even though it holds its shape it will dry out quickly, turning the lemon into a nigh-useless rock after a week or two in the fridge.

I mean, there's not much to say.They're perfect. Extremely high quality product, I can't think of anything to change.The only thing you should consider is the price: you can get zesters for less but I don't think you can get this quality for less, and the Massdrop price was justifiable for me.

I love that this matches other appliances in my kitchen. I love that it has non skid tips, and I love that it's sharp enough to grate lemon zest. My old one was and is loved, but is only good for cheese and garlic.
The makes mincing garlic a breeze, I also do it for ginger. Just makes really quick work of doing both without cutting myself. It's sharp does it fast and also, cleans up easily. Comes with a case to keep it protected and away from other utensils in the draw.The handle is so comfortable. Used it plenty of times it's sharp.
I am always happy to get a new kitchen tool that works really well for the tasks it was intended to perform. I am very pleased that it zests and grates parmigiana reggiano so well.
By far the bedt zester around, dont bother trying any others even if they're cheaper. I've never used a better one. I also gave the same one to my parents who've had theirs for years.
