West Paw Blue Zisc Flying Disc Fetch Dog Toy - Small

Best dog frisbe ever! I have a 120 GSD and it is his best friend! It flies straight, very controled flight. He does go for the kill every time. But if you bring it inside for next playdate then it should last almost 1 year. Even if middle is torn it still flies without issue! Ive purchased alot of others , but never again! This is the best will not waste money on flimsy uncontrolled flyers again! You shouldnt either. Dont flinch at price tag! Well worrh it! Im 100% never wasting $ on another brand. Hes 10 yrs old and hes had only 5 in the last five yrs.

Amazingly durable!!

Although this product is labeled for gentle chewers, it has held up against our multiple heavy/extreme chewers. It's held up better than the Kong or Barkbox discs. We have a pit bull, lab/pit/hound mix, and daschund/heeler/gsd mix that regularly played with this toy for almost two years. Now the toys are damaged in the center, but still fly as if they're new and the dogs are so excited when we pull the disc out to play. We have the glow in the dark discs and they are awesome for late afternoon/early evening play.as the glow is bright and visible. A definite recommend. 10/10.West Paw definitely understands how to make a durable toy that lasts

Best Dog Frisbee in the World! Would give it 6 stars if I could.

That's what my Aussie says! The blue 6.5" frisbee is her favorite toy. She has several and always has one close by. Her favorite activity is frisbee play -- she loves to run, jump, and catch the flexible disc. As a matter of fact, she meets me at the door every afternoon with the frisbee in her mouth; ready to play!I tried other "cheap plastic frisbees" but they never survived the first encounter with Gracie's jumping catch.Don't ever stop making the Zisc! I always keep a new one in reserve, just in case one is lost. We only had one Zisc fail over the last five years and that was a rip during a tug-of-war.Gracie and I are both very pleased with this toy! Keep 'em coming.

Best Dog Toys!

I just bought our third Zisc. We love West Paw products and their service. The Zisc is amazingly tough - we have an Australian Cattle Dog and a lab mix who use it for a tug toy between chasing to fetch it. The last Zisc, after more about a year of this treatment (not to mention, the Cattle Dog often stops to have a good chew on it), was just starting to get some holes in it, when the lab mix lost it in the woods. I'm hoping I'll find it in the spring when the snow melts, but there was no question I had to buy another one ASAP. It's their favorite toy.

Best indestructible toy ever

My 'puppy' is now 10 years old and still has his first flying disc. He was a terrible chewer for 2 years so it was excellent for those teething months. He now loves to play tug and catch. This is the perfect toy, absolutely indestructible and well worth every cent. I've just purchased another one in blue for him as now he's getting old his eyesight is deteriorating and blue shows up best in grass. If you only ever buy one toy, buy this , you'll never regret it.

I got this West Paw Zisc for my standard poodle that loves playing Frisbee. This Frisbee is soft and flexible. Usually our Frisbees do not last more than a month or two because of her bite and how roughshe is with them, but we have had this one for over six months and it is still in excellent condition. My guess is the flexibility and rubber like material has helped a lot. I am super happy with it. Highly recommend it.

NOT THE BEST !!!!!!! TOO HEAVY AND SQUARE

I first saw this product at the dog park and was interested in finding a frisbee for my blue healer that would NOT cause friction like the "soft bite floppy disc" we have been using. This friction cause by the nylon weave files her cannine teeth and because she loves frisbee so much we play 5 to 7 days a week for excercise. I have taught over 300 plus dogs over the past few years frisbee with this "soft bite" mentioned above and figured when I saw this frisbee by called Zisc by West Paw Design...I thought it would do well since the guy who was tossing it to his dog let me try it....It does fly well...but, because of its heavy weight and square edge....the dogs have a very very low percentage of catches because this Zisc "bounces" right out of their mouth upon impact ... MoreI first saw this product at the dog park and was interested in finding a frisbee for my blue healer that would NOT cause friction like the "soft bite floppy disc" we have been using. I have taught over 300 plus dogs over the past few years frisbee with this "soft bite" mentioned above and figured when I saw this frisbee by called Zisc by West Paw Design...I thought it would do well since the guy who was tossing it to his dog let me try it....It does fly well...but, because of its heavy weight and square edge....the dogs have a very very low percentage of catches because this Zisc "bounces" right out of their mouth upon impact during the catch...unless the dog catches it with the perfect angle...speed...etc. My dog is an AMAZING athlete and can catch the "soft bite" nylon fabric frisbee no matter how it is throw...she even flips backwards if the wind catches it and take it back....but, with the Zisc if the wind catches it and takes it back then the Zisc drops like a heavy anvil and hits the dogs mouth with too much force. Also, due to its design it is difficult for the dog to pick up on firm surfaces. This frisbee lost its luster within 20 minutes my dog did not want to play with it. I tried again the next day and the same thing happened my dog made several attempts to catch it and due to the low percentage of successful catches...she would drop the Zisc and walk away from it....which is absolutely unheard of with my blue healer...this dog will play and retrieve until my arm wears out. My dog and I tried the KONG one finally after having problem with the Zisc....the Kong one is shaped better...fly's better....at she is able to catch it without it bouncing out of her mouth....KONG offers a smaller thinner version for puppies which is the one she seems to like the best...it is lighter and more supple and she is back to making dramatic aerial catches again. Maybe it is due to the fact that she has a smaller mouth then a lab or a golden and maybe this Zisc works better with a bigger dog with a larger more powerful mouth....my healer is only 45 lbs...so that is something to consider. I noticed personally throwing the Zisc that the outer edge bends too much during my throw and when the dogs siliva gets on it...it tends to slip out. I thing the material it is made out of is only "semi" durable because I bought one of the balls too and my other dog...Aussie Sheperd took little chunks out of it within 10 minutes of playing and chewing on it. I have NO AFFILIATION with KONG...but, I find their material to be way more durable, but only in that snowman shape original toys.....that's my opinion and my experience...good luck finding the right toy for your dog.Brian O'Hara,Northern California

I hate writing negative reviews but here goes nothing. The frisbee was a lot smaller than anticipated but the worst thing about it is that she was able to rip it in multiple places within 24 hours. This kind of rubber is not strong enough for most dogs I would guess. I’m not playing tug-of-war with the frisbee and I don’t allow her to sit and chew on it like a chew toy, she has plenty of other things to chew on.On a separate subject the amount of emails and text messages advertising for your other products that showed up after I purchased this one frisbee was absurd. Your advertising is too ubiquitous and aggressive it is like three times the amount of emails you get after buying the average product. Xena loves her Zisc Frisbee!

My Queensland Heeler, Xena, wore her first Zisc out! I bought a glow in the dark one, but never played at night. When she wore the other one out, I bought an orange one and a blue one, so they would show up. The glow in the dark one turned kind of brown in the dirt and got lost lots of times. We live on acreage. Anyway, thank you for a great product. It's durable enough for her and the size is perfect. If she picks it up from the ground, she paws at it and folds it in half like a taco and brings it to me! When she wears out these two, I will certainly buy another two!

Zisc is ze best by far!

My "blue lab" Rocky (blue heeler and black lab mix) finally was able to put a small tear in the Zisc, but only after 6 months of playing with it (hard- for over an hour a day), sleeping with it, gnawing on it, and general abuse that limited all other frisbees' life spans to mere days or hours. We play fetch by the river's edge every day while I get my walk in, and he goes swimming even in winter, wades out to get a drink, keeping one eye on his Zisc the entire time. Even the red cloth frisbees don't stay on the surface once they are water-logged, and they turn to ice in the cold weather. When Rocky tires of fetch (not often) he likes to tug-o-war for variety, and if I'm feeling loose and strong, I can pick him up off the ground and spin him around (all 90 pounds, ughh!) until we both collapse from dizziness and exhaustion. He was doing the same thing to his favorite girlfriend, Echo (a smaller lab mix), yesterday when I noticed the small tear. Those two will latch onto the Zisc and take turns dragging each other around, not letting it loose for 20 to 30 minutes sometimes. Then they fight over who gets to use it as a pillow while they catch a power nap! Of course the Zisc is heavier than the average frisbee, so I've learned to alter my throwing technique so that I can keep throwing every day without pain (mainly a longer sweep of the arm, without so much snap of the wrist and elbow) and can get pretty good distance and accuracy, no matter what the wind conditions. Rocky and Echo don't have any trouble catching the disc in their mouth, and I believe the Zisc needs the higher than average side wall to create enough of an air pocket to hold it aloft, since it is heavier. I'll order a couple more Ziscs now, and use the torn one for a back-up in case of emergency! Thanks for a grrrrrrreat product!
