Great chew. My adopted boxer mix actually ate most of it in about a month. Probably not a good choice for her.My Ridgeback is not a hard chewer but she loves the toys filled with tasty food, though!

At first my Boston Terrier didn’t really seem interested in this toy. I kept trying to get her to play with it. Then the next thing I know she’s running around going crazy with it. Throwing it around and letting it bounce in different directions then chasing it.

Unfortunately my French bulldogs were not interested in it. They do have some toys they really like to chew on so I thought this would be good, but they sniffed at it and walked away. My cats actually played with it more than the dogs - rolling around at first, but now it lays forgotten on the floor. It may work well for fetch, but my dogs aren’t big fetchers.

The Rumpus for tough chewers was the perfect size for Kit. She’s a 14 lbs. chihuahua/ terrier mix.It not only had a shape that made it easy to toss but bounced around for lots of chasing action.I like the fact it is made from recycled materials and made in the USA.Kit likes having it around but softer squeaky toys appear to be her go to favorites.
This item is made in the USA and is recyclable. It seems very sturdy, like it would last. I accidentally ordered thinking it was one of those ones you put peanut butter inside which my toothless dog likes - but it's not, it is a solid piece. I was going to gift it but my teething baby took an interest haha, whatever works!
My Cardigan can rip even super-tough toys apart quickly because she works the edges with her long snout. So the Rumpus is perfect for her, and she LOVES it too! It has lasted weeks already, and she plays with it every day, one of her favorite toys. I also like the bright colors (orange) because they are visible on the floor, both carpet and hardwood. It's also NOT a noisy toy -- makes a soft 'thud' instead of banging hard on hardwood and tile. I will buy more, and I will buy them for friends too. Bought small for Cardigan Welsh Corgi, and it's perfect.
The West Paws products have taken our 3 labs to new playing level. With one nicknamed super jaws, she loves toys but requires constant supervision. She gets thru everything!! Several weeks have passed, she’s not chewing thru West Paws products! I’ve given 4 stars bc she is far more interested in Zogoflex Hurley bone than this or Jive Tough Ball. I’d recommend Hurley bone over this or Tough Ball. I think bc shape and size fit her mouth. She can also play w one of her sisters since it’s longer. She’s just shy 3 yrs and 55lbs. I hope she find interest in this and Jive ball bc West Paws are pricey. If you have aggressive chewer, West Paws are worth cost bc durable, slightly plyable and weight is not too heavy. We have two giant golden doodles who are very strong chewers. We first tried Bumi and they were able to chew off the ends but it is still a favorite to carry around. Next we tried two Jive toys and they love them to chew and chase and carry. So far they haven't caused much damage to them, just a few scrapes (although they try). Rumpus is a new toy, they like it it and it looks like it will be as tough to destroy as Jive. Great toys, very durable and the dogs love them. {Please, more toy in red - I hate orange but that's my preference not the dogs...)
My doggo absolutely loved this toy! Once I presented it to her we immediately had to play fetch. Afterwards she settled down with it for a chew fest. A few hours later she demanded we take it to the park with her where she showed it off to all of her pup friends. Sadly, we left it at the park that day before we could ger any pictures but am submitting one of my sweet girl for anyone needing a dopamine hit. I'm sure some dog out there discovered it and is enjoying it right now. We plan on ordering a replacement ASAP. One day with her new toy had her happily worn out.
This Rumpus quickly became my Cardigan's favorite toy, and she's still playing with it a year later. It's durable, visible on the floors (unlike brownish chew toys) and relatively quiet compared to hard toys. It's the most durable toy I have found, and I have since purchased the Jive and Hurley along with other West Paw items and my dog loves them all and they're all truly durable. Great products, great company.
