I Have always wanted a good chopping knife ,and this is it, the only problem I have is learning to steel at 16% instead of 22% which most kinves are steeled at ,but that will come with practise I guess. So if you want an excellent addition to your kitchen implements Go fo it. Highly Recomended.

Very great santoku knife, takes awhile to get use to the shun handle but once i got it i never stopped using it. its perfectly balanced and has a good weight to it. very beautiful
Overall fantastic knife.Bought as gift for my daughter who is left handed and loves my shun 8” chefs knife.Blade is sharp and and amazing quality product. I cannot recommend shun blades highly enough.10/10.
