I researched a lot of bike racks online and this was the 2nd one we bought after a failed & returned high end carrier. There are not many 2” hitch only 2 bicycle racks. Most are combo 2” & 1& 1/4” hitches. We are recreational riders and looking for a good price point. Got a great deal at Moosejaw on discount and free shipping. The bike rack is well made, sturdy and easy to assembly. I’m in my 70’s and I can lift the rack by myself. It is attractive looking and the quality one expects from Rhino Rack.

This bike carrier did exactly what I needed it to -- it carried my bike on a 20-hour road trip without incident. My bike was secure the whole time, and so it's very functional overall. My only con for this product is that when my bike isn't on it, it bobbles around a lot while driving, especially when going over bumps. It's not a secure fit in the hitch... not really a safety issue, but just annoying. Install of the carrier was extremely easy.

This is a quality hitch mount at a reasonable price. My only gripe is that the tilt-down feature doesn’t even come close to clearing my rear hatch. This is mainly because I drive a Lexus GX-460 and the hatch opens sideways rather than vertically. Fortunately my rear window opens up just fine so I can access cargo, but I’m out of luck if I need to load up the dogs.

Finding a hitch that was stock 2 inches was difficult and I didn’t want one with an adapter. This rack is perfect and does the job well! Very satisfied.
The Rhino Rack was very easy to assemble and install on my Jeep. The sturdy design is very reassuring and rotatable clamps are wonderful. I would recommend getting a pin lock for the Rack so it doesn’t disappear unexpectedly.
This rack does everything I need. Brought this rack after reading plenty of reviews and I’m happy. Fits nice and snug inside the 2 inch hitch. The rack can tilt with one bike attached, so I can access the trunk of my CX5. The loop area on the rack allows you to run a cable lock for additional security. The reflectors on the rack definitely makes the rack more visible at night and it a nice touch. If I had to change anything, I would like for cradle to be more contoured to the seat tube for a more snug fit.
I love the levers to drop & raise the rack - when it clicks in, it's really solid & by the design of it, it cannot fall out of place. I purchased it with the intention of buying a locking pin to replace the hitch pin - unfortunately on this model, it's not possible. There is threading on the inside of the hitch pin area for the bolt that it comes with, which makes the area too small to fit a straight locking 1/2" pin through the area. I ordered & returned several pins before I realized it's just not possible without going to a 1/4" pin, which I was not interested in trying. Rhino Rack offers a locking end piece but it is not compatible with this hitch pin per my research. The rubber straps are heavy duty & I loved that they included a strap for securing the wheels - when the bikes are strapped in, they're not going anywhere. I am extremely happy with this one for the price.
Amazingly sturdy and strong. Super easy to install and provides the confidence I needed to trust my bikes To be carried on the highway. Haven’t had any issues.One thing to note: I had read a few reviews about the rack swaying more than expected. I have to assume the person didn’t retighten the bolt in the hitch after the first few drives. Bolts loosen through vibration, and it’s your responsibility to tighten and check every so often. I retighten as often as I think to, and I’ve had no issues whatsoever.
This rack shipped fast and was packaged to keep the box contents very safe. Straightforward to assemble. Used for the first time driving from Knoxville to Detroit and back. There was a very small amount of wobble in the hitch, and hours of wind hitting the bike slid one of the cradles forward so my bike did not sit at a 90 degree on the carrier anymore, but it worked as intended besides that. I like how smooth and easy it is to use the handles to raise and lower the moveable parts of the hitch. Rack does not come with the vertical bar pad shown in the photo. It would be nice if this came with a couple more rubber straps, I used all of them on my one bike during the long commute to keep it from wobbling.

I did want something that would be easy to put on/take off, and sturdy and stable enough for transport of my bike, plus another. There was some minimal assembly prior to hooking onto the hitch. The other connections were a little tough, as I have less hand strength at my age. I did notice a few of the bolts got easier with more use. Overall, I would like the rack to shake a bit less. The little turn key at the bottom loosens too easily.
