The product is obviously overpriced but it does look great on the car. It is made in China and that's where the shortcomings are starting: the double adhesive patches are ill fitted, the hex key is unusable as it is too short for the application and it is a simple key, not one that works also in the required odd positions and the instructions are deficient. This is why the installation will take you some thinking and twice the time it should.

Very easy to install, well thought out bit of kit. Install took under an hour and proves to be very solid. Definitely recommend this mounting system for use with a pioneer platform.

FJ cruiser Rhino backBone 2 piece was showing in stock (available) September 06 2019 on Rack Attack website and part was ordered same day. Called Rack Attack today, Sept 17 and was told container containing my part was showing arrived at Rhino Rack but was still in the shipping container waiting to be dropped shipped from Rhino Rack.Definitely would not recommend or shop with Rack Attack in the future. Their website is not up to date and cost me additional money to purchase a hitch carrier rack to carrier my luggage I had planned for an up coming trip. Two days before my trip ( 7 days later) I recieved an email telling me the UPS shipment was cancelled and I would have the part in 7 to ten days. Today is day 7, and I am sure it will not arrive by friday (Sept 20).
