I bought this for use with the Rhino Rack Pioneer platform. The fit and finish is excellent, looks really nice. The instructions are sufficiently comprehensive, just to be sure to read through them a time or two before you do the install. Also make sure you read everything on the page, because certain steps are contained in separate blocks of text and sometimes I would accidentally skip a step. The most nerve-wracking part is drilling holes in a perfectly good fiberglass top, but that went just fine. When you are using the paper template to mark the front holes, make sure that you cut the paper along the dotted line and double and triple check the distances with a ruler.

Easy to install and a very clean look. Also no extra bolts to take off to remove the hard top.
Bought this so that I could install a hardtop roof top tent. Everything lined up beautifully and it looks great on my Jeep. I was worried about drilling into my hardtop and the idea that there wouldn’t be a complete seal but that was not the case. It has rained a few times and no water inside my Jeep.
Looks sleek, very happy with fit
Huge fan of the Backbone system on my 2019 JLU. DIY install went smoothly and very impressed with how solid it is. Hands down the most solid option I've found that isn't the exoskeleton cage like system. I tried other crossbars but have zero concerns hauling 16-21ft kayaks with these in conjuction with kayak racks.
Works and looks great on my Wrangler JL. Take your time and look over the instructions thoroughly before installing.
Very easy to install, well thought out bit of kit. Install took under an hour and proves to be very solid. Definitely recommend this mounting system for use with a pioneer platform.
