This Cordless Pole Saw must be one of the best products from Karcher in the garden tools range. It has extraordinary power to cut seemlessly through a whole range of tree branches at speed. I already have several Karcher batteries so I purchased the item directly from Karcher without a battery or charger and it is excellent value. Great products, great service - I am totally converted to Karcher

First time used nice machine, would be great if you could make some end covers for storage on battery housing and poles joints.Works well.

Having reached a certain age and nearly lost a leg using a mains chainsaw (stupidly) after climbing up a tree I purchased the affordable Karcher 18v long handled saw. it has cut through branches up to about 5 inches in diameter with no problem. The mains chainsaw stays in my shed now. Can't do without it. The only negative points I'd make are that the chain needs tightening quite often (using Allen keys), topping up the oil reservoir is slow and when cutting thin branches it tends to leap about a bit due to the length of the pole. But can thoroughly recommend.

I bought the PSA 18-20 chain saw a couple of months ago for a small community garden with increasing problems of overhanging branches from adjoining woodland. With a fellow gardener, who is much taller and stronger than me, we were able to clear a significant part of the overhanging branches in a couple of hours using only one 2.5 battery. The saw was extremely quick and effective cutting through several inches of branch although we needed to top up the oil using only one battery - so it's wise to check the oil while you're using the saw, not just at start up.Very impressed with the performance of this powerful garden tool - it would have cost a great deal more to employ professionals.
Bought about a month ago, and have not be able to use it since as been waiting on the oil to be delivered. No updates unless I email. However, the saw was good, and have only managed to use it on about an inch and a half thick branches as the oil given with purchase ran out. Not as light as hoped being a female, bit top heavy, but nevertheless would recommend it.
Excellent tool for lopping of branches at a height. Effectively and efficiently. I have tried with one attachment and would imagine could be challenging to hold with both attachments. Great purchase
Cordless pole saw bought to clear overhanging branches above a long driveway. Highly effective and much easier to use than a manual pole cutter/saw. Easier to use part-extended; can be tiring to use with extension due to weight of saw at end of pole. Use proper safety gear - especially hard hat! Not easy to perform horizontal cuts to remove upward facing branches or remove top of sapling; good for cutting vertically.
WHAT YOU SEE IN DEMONSTRATION AND WHAT YOU RECEIVE IS ALL TOGETHER DIFFERENT. VERY DISAPPOINTED. THIS TINI MINI HAND TOOL IS VERY POORLY PACKED IN A CHEAP CARD BOX AND BELIEVE ME , IT COMES UN-ASSEMBLED BUT NECESSARY TOOLS ARE SUPPLIED WITH IT AND THANKFULLY THERE IS INSTRUCTION BOOKLET ENCLOSED.PLEASE EXPLAIN ME HOW CAN I RETURN THIS ITEM AND GET MY REFUND.THANK YOU
I bought as a present for my brother in law, but he gave me a go and I was quite impressed with it. Made light work of a job that would take much longer. Would recommend a full face guard as branches could come down and damage your face or eyes. Very good.
I have only used the shorter form so far but it made quick work of several branches which would have been difficult to cut with a bow saw, with much less effort.
