Kayali Oudgasm Tobacco Oud | 04 Eau De Parfum Intense 50ml

I would've thought that a wide array of different components combined would create havoc on my nose but I was very wrong. Oudgasm Tobacco is a symphony of notes that each play their part perfectly. The top notes of white honey, mandarin orange, clary sage, geranium, and plum give it a sweet top note that is a treat to smell. As it starts to change over to its middle notes of saffron and clove it adds a serious and warm spice to the enchanting top notes like adding a fiery spice to a bowl of fruit. I received this KAYALI Oudgasm Tobacco Oud 04 Eau de Parfum Intense from KAYALI in exchange for my honest review. This fragrance is floral and sweetly spiced at the top with notes of honey, citrus and geranium blending into a bold heart of clove and a smoky, spice-laden base with notes of tobacco, vanilla and oud. This fragrance immediately transported me to my childhood, reminding me of the sweetness of pipe tobacco and the sultry smokiness of burning incense. It is a bit heavy for me personally to wear as a stand-alone scent but I adore it lightly layered over a creamy vanilla fragrance such as Kayali Vanilla 28 and have been wearing that combination quite often as an evening scent. I would recommend this fragrance for any oud lover.

Dark Earthy Scent that lasts

Wow, I absolutely love this scent. It's dark, and kind romantic type of scent. When I spray it on its very strong which I love, very woodsy musk type of scent. I can tell there is a tobacco, vanilla and a hint of Patchouli when wearing. Those scents stand out the most to me. It definitely lasts all day to which is a plus. I hate having to spray multiple times to keep a scent on all day. This one definitely doesn't need to be. Also has a cute bottle, I highly recommend this perfume, it's definitely a keeper on the list.

I do like the Eden Apple.

I ordered this discovery set so I would get an idea of what these scents smells like. I was never a big perfume where but this layering, intrigued me. It is probably my own fault for watching these influencers who happened to be "eligible for commission". All these influencers saying that they got stopped asking what they were wearing and that never once happened to me. The discovery set is not going to give you nearly enough applications to decide which layer together the best. So I did go and buy a larger set of three. The scent definitely does not last. It wasn't anything like I thought it would be. Maybe I'm old school and half of these notes I have no clue what they're about. I wasn't expecting to love this fragrance

I purchased each of the Oudgasm Collection fragrances but I wasn't sure what else to expect from Tobacco Oud, the honey note intrigued me but I was expecting to appreciate this scent, at best.I was wrong. The depth and complexity of Tobacco Oud are intoxicating. The honey note is as wonderful as expected. The earthy dry down is a tad masculine for me so decided to layer this with Bee from Ellis Brooklyn. This is a perfect sweater weather combo. I absolutely love them together.Thank you, Mona. Your vision for Kayali has ignited my love for fragrance in every way.

My absolute favourite, signature scent is Kayali Invite Only, which has tobacco leaf as a component note, and when I buy fragrances for my partner I tend to get him ones with tobacco and leather, so I am quite confident that I enjoy those warm, slightly masculine edges in my perfumes! After reading reviews thought that the Tobacco Oud sounded like one I'd like, my primary thought was of mixing it with the Rose Oud to balance out the sweetness and replace it with the warmth of the Tobacco Oud, and I expected that the 'juicy mandarin', 'saffron and clove' notes would go well with the lemon and geranium in the Rose. Well - for the first time I had difficulty actually distinguishing the scent profile on application and after dry down. As expected from an Oud, and a high quality one such as these, the sweet smoky 'incense' like base came through strongly, and in my opinion was leaning towards overpowering the other components. On dry down, there was a pleasant warmth with hints of honey and mild sweet citrus. However, when applied 2 - 1 Rose - Tobacco Oud, I found it a truly lovely blend. I have also experimented with adding the Kayali Vanilla 28, which is also a great evening fragrance. My favourite combination though is the Tobacco Oud with Kayali Deja Vu - mmm, the fresh white flowers and clean crisp green leaves scent works with the creamy warmth of the oud to balance beautifully leaving you with a gorgeous, individualised perfume! I'm looking forward to trying it with others too - this is a fantastic base fragrance that's perfect for experimenting with others in your collection! ️

Not my usual, but beautiful and bold

I’m not usually one for bold scents, but I wanted to try this one out since I saw people compare it with Angel’s Share and By the fireplace. I was also afraid this might smell like cigarettes, but it’s more woody. Maybe like cedar? To me it’s smokey, woody rounded out with honey. There’s tobacco, but it’s like the dried leaves. This is a masculine, fall smell, and it becomes more masculine on me (more spicy, more pachouli) as I wear it. (Although, that is typical for me, so that might be more my body chemistry than the perfume itself.) Not sure if this something I will reach for often (I usually wear skin scents lol), but it is beautiful and complex and I really love it.

Powerful tobacco fragrance, long lasting

This new fragrance from Kay Ali in Oudgasm Tobacco Oud intense is created to have notes of Mandarin, White Honey, Geranium, Vanilla, Tobacco, & Oud. I’m not sure if it’s just me but I could not detect any notes of Mandarin, White Honey, or Vanilla from this fragrance. It is overpoweringly Tobacco & musky Oud. I can see why this is branded as intense because truly you only need one spritz of this fragrance.& it will easily permeate a medium sized room for several hours. I do not recommend using more than one spritz as I did the first time because it completely overpowered me and left me coughing. I wanted to like this fragrance but it just wasn’t for me. Smoky Honey Vanilla

I have been meaning to try out Kayali perfume for quite some time, so this is my first experience and it was a pleasant one. This scent has a very strong opening, which may be intimidating for those who typically wear sweet or floral scents, or who find incense overpowering. But this is not a linear fragrance and begins to blossom into a smoky, honey scent with hints of vanilla about a half hour in. The final profile comes around the hour and a half mark on me and is a beautiful, sugary, vanilla praline with a small amount of tobacco. I find the longevity to be okay, with this becoming very faint after four hours and barely noticeable after six. One thing I did not love, was the bottle. Worth it!

I bought this, because I was recently gifted the Eden Sparkling Lychee travel spray. I normally don't go for very sweet or vanilla based perfumes, but I fell in LOVE with the Lychee.I saw that Kayali was a well reviewed brand, that was dubbed as a high quality perfume seller, so I wanted to try scents out first, before purchasing a whole bottle, & end up not liking it.I now plan on getting Yum Pistachio Gelato, Vanilla Vanilla, Deja Vu White Flower, and of course, the Eden Sparkling Lychee!The rest of the scents were still nice, but not my vibe.If you are unsure, before buying the full bottle, I highly suggest getting this layering set. It's the perfect price, and the samples give you a good amount of product.
