I love these crochet hooks. I began crocheting in February 2023. I wondered why I struggled with speed, then I purchased Clover hooks. They are colorful & labeled well so easy to align/organize your hooks for various projects. They are rounded so they easily flow through the yarn. The grip is comfortable and weighted well in the hand. I’ll never use any other crochet hook.
This is so much more comfortable to use that the more common cheap and hollow crochet hook for this size. Most manufacturers don't make this size. It's wonderful for doing multiple strand afghan projects. I'm quite impressed with it.
I have just learned to crochet and I practice quite a bit with a normal metal crochet hook. I was watching a lot of videos and everyone always suggested clover hooks so I bought one when I started my first project: a beanie. I LOVED IT. My hands didn’t hurt after switching so that was the biggest perk to me.
Absolutely fantastic Larger size Clover hook. Slides and glides beautifully, even though it isnt metal. lightweight and no hand strain. item was shipped fast, and packaged really well.
I love this hook and I love that Joann actually carries this size, which is a little hard to find. The grip is comfortable. If I had one small complaint it’s that the yarn sticks a bit on the plastic of the hook.
I got this for my teenaged daughter who is into making amigurumi with thicker velvet yarn. She uses this size a lot so she needed one that was more comfortable to hold and this one fit her needs for a good price and a quality hook.
Probably one of the nicest hooks for working with difficult yarn. Nice smooth surface helps the hook glide through the loops. I work with alot of art yard that splits, tangles and sometimes is impossible to "frog", but this hook stands its ground and makes easy work of them! Highly recommend.
