Clover - Amour Crochet Hook (Size: 6,0 mm)

Just like other Clover Amour crochet hooks I have used, these hooks are great. The ergonomic grips are very comfortable. I'm used to the aluminum hook tips used in the Clover Amour set, but because this order included larger individual hooks (K-6.5 mm, MN-9 mm, NP-10 mm, and PQ-15 mm), these hooks have the plastic tips. Still, the hooks are smooth and well shaped, never catching on the yarn, and the plastic keeps the largest hooks light enough to use for extended crocheting sessions. Best crochet hook

I bought this for my niece. She wants to learn how to crochet. I own this brand. A whole set and I love them. So of course I chose the exact brand for her. This hoof is comfortable and easy to manipulate. It doesn’t tire your fingers. I think you will pleased with this hook should you purchase it.

These clover crochet hooks are fantastic. I was constantly having arm and wrist pain whilst crocheting the older style hooks. But using clover brand with the soft handles has made so much difference . No pain anymore . Fabulous product 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

Comfy and smooth

Purchased this based on positive reviews from crochet YouTubers and it didn’t disappoint! It feels smooth both the grip and the hook head when crocheting. This size is a great one to start the collection with as well. After trying out the clover brand for first time with this one, I purchased the whole set.

Excellent Ergonomic Hook

I absolutely love my new Amour crochet hook. I have several size K hooks of different brands but they do not compare to this one. This hook is ergonomic and light and is very easy on your hand when you are crocheting heavier/bigger items such as a throw. I do highly recommend this brand.

Clover Amour are my favorite crochet hooks, and this 12 mm doesn't disappoint. It is made of plastic instead of metal, but that is OK. They are still sturdy and easy to use. I particularly like them when using bulky yarn like Bernat Blanket yarn. I was using a Boye Erogonomic hook, but the Clover Amour is an improvement. The hook has a slight point to it, making it easier to insert into tight stitches of this bulky yarn. The shaft is also slightly longer, and that is helpful for longer stitches like treble crochets. I love it and wouldn't use anything else.

Great hook, very comfortable to grip.

I bought this yesterday. I was using a Boye with the comfort grip, but the aluminum part kept slipping out of the handle. I learned to crochet with Boye and I thought I was more comfortable with it. But was very disappointed with it. This brand Clover has a smalerl grip, but actually I found it more comfortable and the yarn glides much smoother on it.

Pain free crocheting finally

If you are using a regular aluminum hook, are a avid crocheter that is experiencing any pain, you need to switch to these hooks. They are ergonomic LONG enough and have a good grip. You will be able to tell the difference immediately. Do not buy the cheap lookalikes as they are not quite long enough and may still hurt your hands. It is worth buying a set of these even though got pretty pricey. I have bought many a hook unfortunately to learn this. These Clover Amour and gray Etimo hooks are all I am comfortable using. My hands and shoulder have stopped hurting so I can enjoy my project again.

Worth the price

I love my standard Clover Amour crochet hooks but was a little skeptical of the larger sizes because they are made of resin (plastic) instead of aluminum. Turns out there was no need to worry. This puppy is awesome. Aluminum at this size would be too heavy for a long crochet session, but resin is perfect. I used this hook for hours at a time with no problem. And the comfort grip is exactly the same as the standard sizes. I also love that the size is engraved into the handle, not printed, so it can’t rub off.
