We bought this for our family of intermediate and beginner players.We wanted something that was close to a real piano's action, reasonably affordable and wouldn't need upgrading for a while (until someone became really good).Did our research and this was recommended along with the equivalent Roland FP and Yamaha P. The Roland wasn't available in NZ to test and was more expensive. The Yamaha didn't feel as nice to play.This was a winner for my fingers. Despite years of performing with synthesizers, I decided it was long past time to focus on piano lessons. I spent nearly a month researching digital pianos from $500 to $1500. I watched many videos here and on YouTube, and did my best to compare the key actions of the usual suspects in this category. To me, the Casio PX-S1000 and PX-S3000 were the clear winners. I decided that the extra features of the 3000 were worth the little extra. The keys feel wonderful, and the combination of tone quality and speakers on the 3000, especially with the special sound mode engaged, is exquisite. Based on a few other review sites and videos that seemed legitimate, it figured it was likely that the Casio PX-S1000 has the best weighted key action for under $1000 ... and having played on it for a couple weeks, I believe it. I was nervous about ordering the Casio PX-S3000, especially after watching a couple of critical reviews on Youtube, but wow, just wow! This is my first electronic keyboard; I have used an acoustic piano for years. This thing is AMAZING, and all I've used it for so far is as a piano. It came in perfect condition with all the accessories as promised. No issues with anything, and the keyboard plays wonderfully. I can't detect any issues with the keys, how they are weighted, or other concerns. Buying it is the nicest thing I have done for myself in a couple years!

I couldn’t afford much since losing my job to Covid but I didn’t want to sacrifice quality either. This is a perfect instrument for this criteria. Thin, shiny, light, battery convenient, great music stand, sounds and speakers of good quality and touch sensitivity is really effective in this price range all with the option of 3 pedals at an affordable price. People always suggest the Yamaha range at this price but please don’t buy without giving this a consideration first. I really do love it especially in red.
This electric piano is AMAZING. I am in love. Adorama had the best deal for the entire bundle and they offered the different colors for the Casio Privia. The keys feel just like my stand up piano I used to have. There are so many cool features, I am so glad to decide to purchase as a bundle too. Everything came separately and there are no instructions with the bench or stand but I figured it out quickly. Its not advertised but the keyboard comes with a music rest as well. The foot pedal that is included is a must, since the one that comes with the piano is a bit cheap and slides around. I can't say enough good things. I am loving this set up and the bundle made it super easy.
