Bodum Pour Over Coffee Dripper Set With Double Wall Mug and Permanent Filter, 350ml, Clear | Barware & Glasses

I love coffee! It’s one of my simple joys and that’s why I love [brand:bodum-90]. I got this for Christmas and it really is perfect for making a single cup. I’ve used the double-walled glass ones but I’m pretty clumsy so having a double-walled plastic one is perfect for me. I can, however, use the pour over dripper with almost any mug. It has a reusable filter which cuts down on waste, which is ALWAYS a good thing. Also, it cuts down on the waste of making and entire pot or press when you just want one cup. I prefer it waaaay more than a Keurig. It quickly brews an excellent cup and you can use freshly ground beans or pre-ground coffee. Coffee maker on the go!

I order my coffee ground course. I had no grounds in my cup. It's a 12 oz cup. That being said, I used 8 oz of hot water through the filter and the cup was full enough to add a small amount of creamer. I had to take a few sips before I could walk around with it. It was quite full. The coffee tasted great, in my opinion. I felt it looked lighter than normal but it didn't taste watered down so maybe it was an illusion in the cup. The cup is thick enough that my hands didn't get hot holding it. Everything rinsed clean then went in the dishwasher on the top shelf.The only downside is that the pieces don't nest for storage and there isn't a book giving tips like "don't use more than 8 oz water".I wouldn't use this every day because I love my drip coffee maker. Does what it needs to. Take care when washing.

I bought this because I have to cut down my caffeine intake (sucks). You can, obviously, only make one cup at a time so this really helps if you are in a similar situation. It's pretty straight forward: you put the coffee grounds in the mesh filter, put the filter in the plastic holder over the cup, pour hot water over grounds. Boom. Done. Works great. The only downside to this is the clear plastic finish. Yes, it looks nice and makes it easy to tell if it's clean. BUT after just a couple washes, lots of microscopic scratches start showing up all over the place. (Even when I tried washing gently with a microfiber cloth.) This is cheap, reliable, and does what it needs to. But will look beat up after many washes.

Don’t waste your money

This the single worst purchase I’ve made from target. It doesn’t fit any mugs besides the one it came with. It will spill over the side of you fill it too high but it fogs up so you can’t see if the water level is too high. It’s also impossible to pick up because the handle is only for the filter, again making it impossible to see how much you’re pouring. It also lets way too much water and grit through so you have to run your coffee a few times for a normal strength brew. I just wanted a quick and easy replacement for my ceramic one and I got this. It’s awful please don’t buy it, it broke after a few months(3-4months) of barely using it.

Easy to make single serve

This is a great space saving single cups coffee make. Not as fast as instant or a single serve machine but great tasting coffee. Too some time to figure out how much grinds to put in the top. I grind my beans so was able to use a medium grind per my grinders recommendation for pour over. The cup is big enough for a good size coffee. It does take long for the coffee to brew and at first, like I said some trial and error on how fast to add water and best temperature as I heated the water in the microwave. The filter is very fine but easy to clean.

Finally! Coffee while camping

We go camping a lot. And like most people, I love my coffee. Sometimes we camp at places where the spots have no electricity. I have been struggling to find a coffee maker that doesn’t require electricity. The French press seemed to confusing and I am not having cowboy coffee. Coffee grounds in the water!? Yuck! Fast forward to this lovely little coffee maker. This thing is perfect. It is constructed of very durable plastic so if I drop it I don’t feel like it would break. Very easy to use too. Good starter pour over set

This is nice and simple. For someone who wants to try pour over coffee, I think it's the perfect set.Pros: zero waste, reusable mesh filter. It's easy to wash and reuse, without much hassle. Plus, you can feel good knowing that you aren't creating garbage for a landfill. The double wall mug is thick plastic. It retains heat decently, and as someone with two kids, I find myself gravitating toward less fragile dishes anyway. I think the best thing about the set is ease of use though. Just measure your coffee into the filter, and slowly pour hot water over. I'm sure there's a better way. I know you're supposed to wet the grounds for a bit before pouring, but honestly you can get a decent cup of coffee from this maybe even faster than a drip machine if you're in a ... MoreThis is nice and simple. Interesting Concept

I got this for my husband (he is the coffee drinker). I liked it because it is made out of plastic and when he is working on some project outside and he drops it it would be okay. He thinks the mug is too light for him and he pointed out the the handle on the outside has a sharp ridge which I can confirm. The reusable filter is okay but he had some sediment in the bottom of his mug. It also does a good job to keep the coffee hot. If you like your coffee to stay longer hot you would need at least a lid for this coffee mug.

Plastic all the way around

I am a Bodum fan and have all kinds of Bodum products, from coffee cups to glasses. The box of this product did not convey correctly that the cup inside is plastic, and very ugly. The cup has two rather ugly seams running from top to bottom, is difficult to clean and not the quality I expect from Bodum. The box says "12 oz" but unless you fill it to the brim all the way level with the top, it holds about 8 1/2 oz, that's a cup in my book and not a mug.The pour over items are nice enough, although also mostly plastic, and work as intended and as other pour over items I have and also fit my 16 oz glass mug from Bodum, so not all is lost.The plastic also does not keep warm as long as the glassware. Well worth it!

I have owned the Bodum 34oz pour over for awhile, and I am very pleased with it. I was looking for a single serve pour over, and chose this one for the same reason...it has a reusable filter. Plus the price was right.After 5 cups, I have dialed in the grind size to slightly courser than fine (with my Krups burr ginder). This gave me the most flavorful cup, almost no silt and a brew time of a little more than 3 minutes. A different filter may be able to totally remove the silt, but it really doesn't bother me that much.I have not experienced over flow. But as with the 34oz and my french presses, I weigh the amount of coffee and water.The build quality is ok, very plasticy. It does say dishwasher safe, but I have been hand washing it.
