I absolutely love this product!! I have been using it for about a year now and it has never failed me. It has the perfect amount of consistently. Not super thick and not super watery but just perfect. It has a great hold and stays for a days worth of great hair. I highly recommend giving this product a try you wont regret it.

Absolutely worth paying that bit more!

I admit I've never previously spent much on hair products. I mean, they're all pretty much the same stuff - pay more and you're just paying for a brand name, right? Wrong! I now realise I've basically been putting Copydex on my head for years. Aveda Grooming Cream is a revelation: no stickiness, no greasiness, a light flexible hold and a little goes a long way. If your hair gets blown around during the day just run your fingers through and it falls back into place. It also leaves your hair in great condition. Try it and you'll give up the glue for good!

Kind of like a Ryan Gosling hair cut. loVE this grooming cream. For many men with Androgenetic Alopecia this product is good because it provides good texture and volume, it makes the hair look thicker. The product doesn't add build up and Its easy to rinse. It provides a medium hold. The aroma is very strong but in a good way, it smell refreshing and vigorous. I always use it at work, I have received good compliments on how my curly hair looks. It has happened that whenever I use it people think Iam wearing a good cologne, but actually is the good smell of the Grooming cream.

Expensive Yes-But Worth It

This is a great grooming cream. I've tried a few others (i.e. the Men's Dept grooming cream which I really liked, but they don't make it any more, TowelDry Creme Styler, which is also pretty good but not quite conditioning enough, and Go 24.7 Styling Cream, but that goes on more like a putty and isn't my favorite) This is the best. It smells great, it provides pretty good hold even though I only use a little more than a pea sized dollop, and it acts like a leave in conditioner. I feel like I haven't really had any bad hair days since I started using this.

GREAT PRE-STYLING PRODUCT

This product works really well on my fairly thick, medium length hair and messy, loose quiff. I use it pre-blow drying to give my hair some shape and smooth it out. Previously used mousse but this cream gives a more natural-looking volume. I'm still working out the best product to style with (quite possibly something from Aveda!) but currently using a fibrous paste with fairly good results. Almost goes without saying that this product smells incredible, and has an ingredient list that I feel comfortable with. Recommended.

Hope I never have to make a change

I have been using this grooming cream for 15+ years and have never considered a change from day one. I can use the cream on either dry or damp hair, with the same consistent results. This is a non-greasy product that provides just enough hold for me while keeping my hair looking natural with just a small amount. Honestly, you would never know that I have any product on my hair and, even in extremely windy conditions, it only takes a quick run of my fingers through my hair to get it back to looking groomed. Please, Aveda, keep this product in the line without any changes.

Perfect for natural look

My hair are a bit thin and hence, i need to blow dry them to get in shape. However, they used to get out of shape after couple of hours. With this cream, they are a bit thicker and all i need to do is move my hand over them to get them back in shape. If you dont need a spiky strong hold, this cream is perfect. I love this cream. It is the only hair product I've used in the past few years. When my hair is dry it is frizzy/fluffy. This cream gives it texture and hold without making it look like there is a ton of product in it. I recommend putting in while your hair is still damp. Let it dry. Then run your fingers through your hair to "loosen up" the product. Your hair will feel soft; it will be in the same place it was when you put the product in; and it will look "natural". It also has a great earthy/woodsy/masculine scent. I highly recommend this product.

shhh...i'm a girl, but i love this grooming cream!

after cutting my fine and wavy hair into a pixie last year, i relied on the usual blow-dry-straight styling method. one day, a new stylist picked up this grooming cream. "but it's for men!" i gasped. and she said "yeah, and guess what your hair is like now?" she was right, of course, and i'm not sure why it seemed so groundbreaking. regardless, this cream enhances my natural wave, adds shine and helps keep everything in place, and only smells slightly more dude-like than the other aveda products i'd been using for years. i'm a huge fan of the cream because it gives me a whole different look, and i'm grateful to have a bold stylist who helped me try something new that i wouldn't have thought to reach for myself.
