Actually, this is the second chance for Ziploc and they struck out again. This package had three bags slit side to side near the bottom. One of the bags had what look like thick black racing stripes wrapping the left side along with its slit (that didn't make it through the stripes due to their thickness, I suppose). The stripes also give of a strong "poly" odor that tainted all the bags closest to it... 10-12 of them. This is frustrating being the second time we've had a box with bags we can't use. Money wasted. Ziploc is too expensive (for bags in general) to feel good about continuing to buy them. Twice in a year is enough to call up another batter/player in our bag game.

I selected the Ziploc Slider Bags/ Stand & Fill Expandable Bottom because, I had never used these bags before and here’s my review on them:The Ziploc Slider Bags/Stand & Fill Expandable bottom count of 76 are excellent storage bags for food, etc. These bags are the perfect size for my leftovers, small sandwiches and I also used them for other things like small items I used during my crafting projects. I love the fact they have a white plastic slider located on top of the bags makes them very easy to zip up. I also love the fact that they have an expandable bottom on them which allow them to stand up. The expandable bottom keeps the bags from flopping over and stabilize the bottom of the bags.In closing I believe the overall design of the Ziploc Slider Bags/Stand ... MoreI selected the Ziploc Slider Bags/ Stand & Fill Expandable Bottom because, I had never used these bags before and here’s my review on them:The Ziploc Slider Bags/Stand & Fill Expandable bottom count of 76 are excellent storage bags for food, etc. These bags are the perfect size for my leftovers, small sandwiches and I also used them for other things like small items I used during my crafting projects. For myself I used them to store my leftover food, snacks and, I also used them for some of my small crafting items. The white plastic tab located on top of the bags, helps to easily close the bags. I also noticed when the bags were completely zipped across air was prevented from getting into the bags. Lastly, I love the fact that the Ziploc Slider Bags has an expandable bottom located on the bottom of the bags which helps them to stand up right and, help to stabilizes the bottom of the bags in an up right position when I’m filling them up.On a scale from 1 to 10 I would rate the Ziploc Slider Bags/Stand & Fill Expandable Bottom Bags a 10 out of 10.Thank you.

I don't know what happened to this product. I was once a proud customer of the ziploc brand. I bought this product at two completely different retail stores and they were completely horrible. the zippers were breaking off when opening and sealing. The interior of the bag did not open freely and the sides were stuck together. with some patient prying i was able to use most of the bags. I have never been more disappointed by this brand. I am so put off with the costs not matching the quality I am accustomed to receiving fromthis brand.

I tried the Ziploc storage Quart slider bags and like the size. It is a good medium size bag to store random items that need to be organized including food. It has a good thickness to the plastic. The bags have good sealed edges. The zip section has a nice plastic zipper that is easy to use and slides smoothly. This bag also can also stand upright on its own. However, it is hard to keep the opening opened while trying to fill the bag. Also, the opening is somewhat small. There is a small area for you to write information about the contents of the bag. I wish the writing area was a little bigger. Overall a great quality quart size bag to have around for many different uses. I trust my contents will stay inside after sealing the top. Great Storage Bag!I have never been disappointed with Ziploc bags. I have used them to help me stay organized and successful in projects that I need to complete. I have found the Ziploc Slider bags with the Stand and Fill Expandable Bottom to be especially helpful this summer. As usual I enjoy all of the fruits and vegetables available to me during each season and try to stock up on them whenever I find a sale or can make it to the Farmer’s Market. The Ziploc Slider bags with the Stand and Fill Expandable Bottom are easy for me to use by myself without any help. The bottom of the bag fans out and allows you to put more in than the regular bag. They are very sturdy too. You can use the bag in the microwave and it is suggested to leave the zipper open about one inch to vent when defrosting and reheating food. It is also suggested that you put the bag in microwave safe dish. As my pantry can get cluttered at times I like that the Ziploc slider bags come in a container for the that has a convenient hole in the top to remove the bags. This family pack of 76 bags has been a lifesaver and I would recommend it to anyone who is in need of a bag that makes your life less hectic.
I am a diligent multitasker. I make batches of food and freeze them in portion sizes for easy a selection during meal Time. After their initial use, they become free games for anything I want to compartmentalize for reuse, in my home.My (loose) items are kept snuggled together for ease of a visual at hand use, and a Quick (need more) inventory.Sturdy and always, in many ways reliable.
When I chose the Ziploc Slider Zipper Food Storage Bags as a product to review, I thought I was going to get some regular Ziploc bags. Turned out, I was wrong. These aren't regular at all. The bottom of the bag unfolds, making it capable of standing alone on whatever surface it's being used on. This means that I can now open the bag, spread the bottom and stand it up so that when I put my fillings in it (I've used syrups, sauces, mixed vegetables and meat) without having the bag fall over and without food spilling down the outsides of the bag. The Ziploc feature also makes it easier to close; never again do I have to try and figure out how to squeeze the matching top grooves together and hope that they are matched. The Ziploc feature also makes it easier to close; never again do I have to try and figure out how to squeeze the matching top grooves together and hope that they are matched. They're also easily washable in case you feel like reusing them, which I do - generally not for raw meats, but for sauces, veggies and dry foods I figure they're still good so I rinse them out in soapy water and then with clear. They're good for another go round! They are so fantastic for sandwiches - not the small peanut and butter and jelly kind of sandwich, but the kind of a salad in your hand kind of sandwich: hearty bread, meat, cheese, veggies (including sprouts and sprouts -wrapped in plastic wrap to keep the bread from getting soggy), and whatever you might want to put on it. This bag holds it all and without smashing the sandwich. I don't know if Ziploc makes these in a gallon size, but I'm sure going to look for them next time I'm at Walmart.
Received these quart size slider bags through a promotion and after several uses, the little plastic slider comes off. The best part is, the bag is sealed and without the little slider, you can't open the bag without tearing it apart. I tried diligently to reattach the thing to the slider channel on the top of the bag and it doesn't work. Frustrating and ridiculous. Now I've got 2 problems as a human being that cares about this beautiful planet: 1 - another plastic bag entering the waste stream of trillions of disposed plastic bags. 2 - the little plastic slider piece is so small that it can easily enter the waste water stream heading to rivers, lakes and oceans where it can be consumed by birds and other animals living in and around these waters. It's bad enough that our lives depend on these bags, but I do my part by recycling them for as many uses as possible. If you are to continue to make these ziplock bags and consumers are going to continue to buy them, please offer better solutions - STOP making slider bags would be a great start. These things are horrible especially because there is no way to slide them closed (or open them) without the silly plastic slider thingy.
Not a typo. Roughly half the bags in the box I received have inadequate adhesion on one side between the clear bag and the pink zip section (and I mean they come apart instantly with little to no tension). Shockingly bad quality, and they have cost me not only in unusable product, but food that has gone stale or spilled when I didn't realize it was in a faulty bag. I used to trust this brand to be well-made without a second thought, but that has changed, big time.
These Ziploc Slider bags are truly remarkable in comparison with any other bag I have ever used. The slider really does zip the bag shut and the bag stays shut, no more popping open and losing contents. I really like the way the bottom of the bag splays out. With this feature the bag can stand on the counter top while fruit, vegetables, left overs or anything else is spooned inside. Using the bags ability to stand gives you both hands to hold a pan or bowl and spoon for filling the bag. These Ziploc bags are not only for use in the kitchen, they also work great for storing craft materials, just stand the bag beside your current project and work away without everything falling out of the bag making a mess. I have also used these Ziploc bags while working on the truck and tractor, again they will stand while you work and drop nuts, bolts, washers etc. into the bag then label it, as you start reassembly you know when you are finished with that particular section. This is more benefit of the Ziploc slider and stand up features. I will be buying more Ziploc Slider bags for other uses other than just food. I only wish they had been introduced sooner as I have not had any negative issues with Ziploc Sliders.
