This was my upgrade from my perfectly fantastic Explorian-type Vitamix version. But now I can use the smaller containers AND use the Perfect Blend App.As someone who likes to have control over any cooking process, I don't often use the app programs. But I do love the clean program, soup program and the nut butter program.

This product is so faulty and grossly overpriced for what you get. I had my NutriBullet for years without a sinlge issue. I’ve had a number of issues with this Vitamix. The major one being that within weeks of purchasing the motor had burnt out and I was just blending basic smoothies! Myer won’t refund me so I had to go through warranty. The new replacement has arrived but even then there is the constant container detection issues.. uggghhhhhhh

Absolutely thrilled I made the investment in this product. It certainly makes smoothies smooth! 😂 Easy to use and easy to clean. I’m yet to work out the functions (other than on an off with the speed zone) as it can do various things with it. Use it all the time! Very happy with the purchase!

I bought Vitamix after my old grinder/mixer/food processor got finished its lifespan after 8 years or so. I did saw Vitamix models earlier But, the price made me hold back.Later, when I saw it was offering 0.0% interest with Paypal...I didn't hesitate to get one. Now, My morning breakfast have changed to pint of healthy smoothies, protein snacks (natural). Lunch I have raw vegetable salad with seeds top up and lime. I use vitamix to chop them in small grate size. I run on speed 1 until I get the desired out put of my salad. Making soups is so easy now.I have to yet try nut butters and frozen desserts.Thanks to vitamix...'THERE IS NO CEILING TO YOUR IMAGINATION AND VITAMIX'Above all the Vitamix provides peace of mind for 10 years.
I bought this one for my vegan son to be able to make own hummus etc. Whilst it does the job in small batches it does overheat and smell of burning if you use it for more than easy smoothies or longer than a few minutes. It has to be allowed to cool down before I can carry on. You also need to start off on a slow pulse before actually blending or it just doesn’t do the job. I expected much much better for the price. I feel I would have been no worse off with a cheaper alternative. If money is no object then buy it by all means. If you expect a professional finish and are on a budget then try an alternative brand and save your money. It’s definitely not worth the price paid.
Having previously owned a bullet blender, I have to say the difference in blending ability is not that great.The vitamix still doesn't properly blend berry seeds in smoothies, one of my main reasons for upgrading.It does make fantastic ice cream in seconds, something cheaper blenders could never do.I was pleasantly surprised by the noise levels. I had heard that vitamix blenders were very loud but it was probably quieter than my old blender.The self detecting jugs are more of a pain rather than technology advance in my opinion. I have just unboxed my product, I had done lots of homework and settled on this guy! I have saved for several months for this considered purchase. I was so gutted to pull out a blue grey coloured jug, I knew it was going to be plastic but the COLOUR!!! Why isn't this product image correct? It is so far from a clear plastic it should be highlighted. Back in the box I'm afraid as I am wanting to keep the blender on the work top and it really is a very odd colour. I would think for the price point images would be correct
A powerful blender! Blends absolutely anything! I enjoy making my delicious smoothies on a daily basis and my soups. I even blend my chickpea cookie batter. So smooth and creamy. Don’t be startled by the loud noise. It’s supposed to sound like that. Just power it up all the way to number 10
My wife did all the research on our new blender purchase. Not taking price into account the Vitamix came out on top. When we sourced from Appliances On-line the pricing became irrelevant, as they provided an excellent discount. When the Vitamix arrived it was quickly put to use, starting with fresh fruit smoothies, making our own almond milk, and mulching is lambs liver for our beautiful puppy. All aspects of the device were of the best quality, even the plastic canister was as tough as glass. Job well done, Appliances Online
Always had cheap blenders and you get what you pay for. very impressed at the quality and the silkiness that a vitamix brings. smoothies are far smoother. things dont get stuck as easily. and the app enablement is a game changer. the Bluetooth app works really well and there are all these presets that i can use. but then when i just want to pulse or blitz, the manual controls are nice and simple. very happy
