Hermes Terre D'Hermes - 150ml Deodorant Spray

So honestly this is my first fragrance that I've purchased a bottle of. I am a newbie to this world, so pardon me for my lack of knowledge. But this fragrance is amazing and I haven't been able to find anything better yet. I love the pungent woody citrusy opening. When the scent dries down its soft but still woody. I feel it's unique and doesn't feel super heavy on my nose. I wear this for myself, so I don't know if this is will get you compliments. I haven't yet, but that doesn't really bother me, but if it works for you rock on!

I'd heard many positives about Terre de Hermes, and was really impressed. Potent but not overpowering. Distinctive and manly. Not powdery or sweet. I work in an office setting and feel it fits right in with a single spray behind the ear. Dressed up or casual, it would work just fine. I cannot imagine anyone being offended by this spray unless it was overapplied. Worth every penny and I have found a perfume I am sure I will cherish forever.

I bought this one when looking for recommendations online, but after wearing it a couple of times I found out that people have mixed opinions about it. Some have said its strong smell is way too masculine and doesn't fit a young and intellectual person like me, while others would even encourage me to wear it more often. Personally I think the fragrance is not what I expected, but it still smells good (not great). With that being said, testing it before buying is a must so it won't become a regrettable purchase.

Separate yourself from the crowd of guys that by that same old scent profile that all the designers copy now. If you don't know what I mean, just go to your department store and sample some stuff. They are all a little different, but they all share that safe DNA that make them suitable for mass consumption. Stop spending too much money on Niche fragrances that offer little bang for the buck. This fragrance was a blind buy for me as I was so intrigued by the polarizing reviews of the original Terre'D Hermes. I live in Florida so hot majority of the year so I was steered toward the Eau Tres Fraiche version for now. Not disappointed at all. On my initial first spray of this I'm instantly reminded of Issey Miyake's Eau Fraiche. EXTREMELY similar overall but I find this to be much smoother and smells a lil more polished if you will. I prefer this to the Issey Miyake which is way too sharp and bitter. Despite the price being steeper than your normal designer fragrances it does feel more niche..I will be giving the original version a try when the weather changes.

A masterpiece. Got myself a 200ml bottle Pure Parfum and its almost beast mode fragrance. Scent is unique and just love whiffs along the day. Doesn't really work that well as a "deodorant"

I love the whole Terre D'Hermes range but this stuff isn't really strong enough for me, even though I don't really consider myself a 'smelly' person. They used to make a stick which was wonderful but it looks like it's discontinued unfortunately. This also has a bit of an alcohol sting when you put on. This doesn't have any antiperspirant in it so no need to worry about added chemicals at least.

Don’t bother!

I love Terre, and the EDT/ EDP daily. I got this deodorant to enjoy my favourite scent even more. Not only does it not hit the same notes as the scents I’m used to at all, but it doesn’t deodorise either. Like at all. I’m used to having to reapply natural deodorants, but this just….doesn’t work.

Long Lasting Indulgence

This is one of those wonderful things that you don't need but are really glad you have. The smell is classic Hermes, subtle and understated but everyone always asks what it is. People have actually come up to me on the Tube and asked what I'm wearing, both men and women, which is unusual! The deodorant is not an anti-perspirant and I wouldn't use as daily heavy duty defence against perspiration but as a light evening freshener it's unbeatable.
