Terre D'Hermes 150ml Deodorant Spray

This is a very different fragrance from what my partner usually wears. For reference, he usually wears Versace Eros. So Terre D’Hermes, while also the embodiment of a Greek God like Versace Eros, the fragrances could not be more different. Terre D’Hermes is heavily citrusy🍊 and woodsy🪵. The citrus and woodsy notes are the first notes to hit the nose, which can be a little overwhelming if you are not used to citrusy scents. After the fragrance settles for a moment it becomes more pleasurable. It reminds me of summertime, nighttime on the beach, bicycling through the woods, a romantic picnic in the park. It is a very nice fragrance overall, but if you are looking for a very sensual seductive fragrance, this is not the one. This is a bright, sunny, happy, and daytime romance sort of fragrance. I feel this is a little bit too strong to wear to work in an office, but it is great for casual afternoons evenings.

...but I'm just not there yet. I tried this original one and the Intense Vetiver. I don't know if one is any better than the other, but I have one first thought when smelling them that I can't let go of. It reminds me of old people perfume. I had read this before I got a sample and that was the first thing I thought when I smelled it and now I can't let that go. I give this actually a 2 ½ star review and not a 3. It's barely just "ok" to me, but I'll give it a few more chances. In no way did this strike me as great when I first smelled it and that's a bad start. My girlfriend loves vetiver which is why I got the other as well, but I feel the same about that one too. I'm glad I didn't blind buy this one after reading how popular it was.

Lovely blast of orange and vetiver with hints of beautiful cedar. This is a great office safe, enjoyable fragrance for those who are in a professional setting. The vetiver is a clean and crisp vetiver that holds on to your skin, leaving a nice long lasting effect. The vetiver is great for those who do not have a love for the note; it's not grassy or dirty in any way. The cedar and citrus add just enough depth to keep you interested whilenot overshadowing the main star. If you are a fan of TF Grey Vetiver, you will absolutely love this. I do!

Opens up immediately with a realistic yet strong orange rind smell mixed with other spicy (peppery) citrus. Many have described this as a “dirty orange” scent! The wood scents then develop rather quickly and sit on my skin for a while. I would say that it projects well but not amazingly. It lasts me anywhere from 6-12 hours which is a huge plus for me. In my opinion, even as a “dirty” smell, this EDT mainly feels “clean” to me. It’s fresh fresh and energetic to me. Although mostly similar, the EDT version is sharper, more projecting and zesty than the EDP, whereas the EDP version is rounded, less projecting, more resinous, woody, and slightly powdery than the EDP, the EDP is less vibrant than the EDT.

The perfect fragrance to meet the president of your country or just take a walk with your good friends. Accurate balance of citrus and dry out as God commands. It smells like old oranges laid on humid earth, in the good sense of the word. I do not know how the master, Jean-Claude Ellena, got the earthy smell, but it is amazing. Awesome performance of minerals in perfumery. I can not say it's my favorite, it's not even in my top 5, but TDH is a "must have it" if you like the citrus. The disadvantage is that the price is too high for many budgets, but to have a classy aroma, you have to make the sacrifice. In short words, extremely exquisite, smells expensive and it is an excellent investment if you love the smell of orange.

Most consider this a fall or spring fragrance but it works well in the summer outside of the very hottest days and in the winter when the spice beneath the citrus really shines. Can't ask for much more in a fragrance.

I’m an easy to please fragrance fan. I’ve heard Terre d’Hermes get described as a “masterpiece” multiple times. Most fragrance aficionados would actually agree. However, in my 50-100 bottle collection, this is easily one of the least likeable ones I own. Not only do I not enjoy it as much as I enjoy my others, I have never received a positive comment when wearing it. This opens as a very woody and citrusy fragrance that settles down into a vetiver bomb (and not much else). This fragrance is pretty much only vetiver to me, and that is not what I’d call a masterpiece. Most people disagree with me, especially so since this fragrance is on multiple “greatest of all time” lists, but I cannot recommend this.
