The revolutionary design of the Galaxy S8+ begins from the inside out. All you see is pure content and no bezel. It's a big, immersive screen. And it's easy to hold in one hand. The Infinity Display has an incredible end-to-end screen that spills over the phone's sides, forming a completely smooth, continuous surface with no bumps or angles. It's pure, pristine, uninterrupted glass. And it takes up the entire front of the phone, flowing seamlessly into the aluminum shell. The result is a beautifully curved, perfectly symmetrical, singular object. Capture life as it happens with the Galaxy S8+ cameras. The 12MP rear camera and the 8MP front camera are so accurate and fast that you won't miss a moment, day or night.

I was happy with this phone so far. It's a bit of a downgrade from my aging Galaxy s model but to be honest I didn't see much of a difference between this one and the flagships. The phone quality is as good as the S models. It does have a plastic back but if you are going to use a case it's no big deal. The processor speed fits my needs. If you are a big gamer or social media user you may need to charge your phone more often. But for me even on my heavy Social media usage days I still have enough battery life to get me through the day. Overall the phone fit my needs. The cameras work well and take clear photos. The call quality is clear and I haven't had any dropped calls. I liked the option for the expandable storage as well. I will not that the phone does not ... MoreI was happy with this phone so far. This is a very small Galaxy! It's not a great product at all. It has the potential but it has very little storage capacity. I can't really download apps without it slowing down basic functions. It takes forever to connect to any apps. I can't stream or video chat because it is so. Slow that it will loose the connection and shut down. On the plus side! It has great options for taking video and pictures. Great filters. Making phone calls are very difficult and most of the time will not connect. I have to charge it every hour depending on what I am using this device for. It was a Christmas gift from a older family member who does not know about phones. I was greatful. I only use this as a back up for the socials.

Very nice all around phone I've only had this phone for two days, and based on that, here goes my review. very light, and very nice color. I have the orchid. When I first seen it, I seen a very direct slate blue color. But as said, I did see the gorgeous orchid color in different lighting. I mainly ordered this for the waterproof/dustproof, expandable storage, and most importantly "bixby". I am so glad I ordered this. I had a hard time parting with my gold galaxy 6, but not sorry. The screen/resolution on this phone is just an awesome experience in itself. The galaxy 6 phone is still a great phone, but this phone offers enough extra features worth upgrading to. Holding this phone in your hand feels so natural. Yes it appears more narrow, but the screen is bigger. ... MoreVery nice all around phone I've only had this phone for two days, and based on that, here goes my review. very light, and very nice color. I have had this samsung phone for forever! It's a truly 'made to last' product that I will be sad to trade in when the time comes. It is only just recently requiring more frequent charging. The phone works extremely well with majority of apps but sometimes there are incompatibility issues with newer apps requiring a more up to date operating system. As a huge fan of samsung products, I will definitely make this brand my go to first option every time.

I really like this phone, upgraded from a comparatively ancient Note 2 and got it last week. The battery life lasts me a bit under two days using it normally with the "always on" screen feature, but there are some fancy-looking power saving modes that reduce some of the phone's functionality for significantly longer battery life. I haven't tested them yet though because it hasn't been necessary. I'm sad to see the S Pen go, it wasn't worth spending another $350 for the Note 8, but I'm impressed by how much smoother the screen looks and feels. The camera is also pretty reasonable. Low-light situations are pretty questionable, but for a phone it seems to do a decent job. The camera fares much better in bright indoor lights and outside. Low-light situations are pretty questionable, but for a phone it seems to do a decent job. The camera fares much better in bright indoor lights and outside. The S8 feels pretty light and a bit slick due to how much glass is used in its construction. It's a nice-looking phone, but after having dropped my old one and living with a cracked screen for two years, I took zero chances and put it in an Otterbox Defender case almost immediately. The software is also quite nice. There's no carrier bloatware on it so you don't have to spend half an hour trying to uninstall and disable apps that you'll never use, but it still comes with most of the basic apps you'll need. Samsung clearly put in a lot of effort on the overall aesthetics of the interface too. Overall no complaints. My carrier is Verizon and it was relatively painless to get the phone set up with them. I just went to one of their locations (not a third-party retailer) and they gave me a SIM card for free. I was alone during this so they texted a code to my parents and I called them via a landline phone at the store so they could read it me, and after punching that into the terminal the Verizon employee took care of the rest. I recommend using Google or Verizon's cloud backup or some other software (like Samsung Kies) to get your contacts BEFORE getting the new phone. I forgot to do that so I walked around for two days getting texts from disembodied numbers until I worked it out on my own. Set up backups NOW, my old phone's screen was completely broken (hence the new phone) and the only reason I was able to get my contacts off of it was because the S Pen digitizer was still functioning (but nothing else) so I could blindly punch in my PIN to unlock the phone.

I recently (within the past 2 years) switched back to apple. However, I used this phone until the wheels came off! I LOVED this phone. The design was very slim and sleek looking. Edgeless which made it easy to hold. But also easy to drop. I dropped this phone ALOT. The camera quality for this phone was great until something came out that was greater! That’s the thing with phones they are ever evolving so what is great this year could suck next year. But this phone really did hold up well. Obviously I was still on the 8 when the 20 came out 😂 so performance slowed over time but it did what it needed to do! The downside for this phone was the 7 had expandable storage and it lost that feature on the 8 but they brought it back with either the 9 or 10.

Let down by a design flaw.
8 December 2023

This phone is very nice. It fits snugly in my pocket and does what a phone should do--make and receive calls very well. It has better reception than my Galaxy A40, has great internal memory that is expandable with an SD card. I like the dual sim function, but therein lies a design flaw. It can take two sims, or one sim and a Micro SD card, but not both. I have to decide whether to use one sim and a micro SD card, or two sim cards. I did not realize this when I ordered the phone. The specs say it is dual sim, and that its memory can be expanded with a micro SD card. So be aware. Until I can get back to one sim card, this phone is staying in my drawer.

My Samsung S8+ has been a very well designed phone. I am guessing when this phone was built at the factory, it was created with lots of care and precision. The battery has been working perfectly since I bought this device since 2017. It may of had some quirks sometime but it was due to the apps that I had and once I deleted those apps, my phone began functioning perfectly. With so many new devices that have come out, my phone has been keeping up like as it were a new phone.
