I was happy with this phone so far. It's a bit of a downgrade from my aging Galaxy s model but to be honest I didn't see much of a difference between this one and the flagships. The phone quality is as good as the S models. It does have a plastic back but if you are going to use a case it's no big deal. The processor speed fits my needs. If you are a big gamer or social media user you may need to charge your phone more often. But for me even on my heavy Social media usage days I still have enough battery life to get me through the day. Overall the phone fit my needs. The cameras work well and take clear photos. The call quality is clear and I haven't had any dropped calls. I liked the option for the expandable storage as well. I will not that the phone does not ... MoreI was happy with this phone so far. The Samsung S8 was by far the best phone I've ever owned. I had this phone for 2 years and never had one problem with it. The processor is super fast, there's more than enough memory and storage a it's easy to navigate. The camera was incredibly good! I was able to use it for all of my online advertisements for my business. The pictures were sharp, clear and lifelike. The colors were accurate. I loved being able to zoom in with very close and still have a crystal clear picture.

Samsungs S8 and S8 rank highly on their own, especially when compared to other flagship smartphones released in 2017. The design is beautiful and reflect the effort Samsung has placed into designing the most futuristic, feature packed smartphones over the past 4 to 5 years. When you think back to the gimmicky Note Edge, you can easily forgive Samsung for taking the risk to bring to curved edges to their phones. The Edge has steadily been refined, and culminates with the S8 series. Whats more impressive is that Samsung has dropped the Edge moniker and normalized curved edges as part of their premium smartphone line up. Whats more impressive is that Samsung has dropped the Edge moniker and normalized curved edges as part of their premium smartphone line up. I was among the millions of buyers who were forced to return their Note 7s, and can now say Samsung has gone beyond and above to produce a phone that has made me all but forget the loss of Note 7s beauty. The form factor is spectacular, and shows that we can use large screen phones, without extremely large bodies. The 6.2 phone is approximately the same size as the iPhone 7 or Google Pixel XL, and goes to show how much space is wasted on smartphones with large bezels. All in all I love my S8, the batter life is phenomenal and lasts a full day even used inPerformance Mode. The S8 actually has more features than users need, but provides different users with various ways to interact with their phones. I dont appreciate the location of the finger print sensor, my finger always has to slide over the camera lens before reaching the thing, but its really not a big deal considering that one wipe from a soft cloth renders the lens clear and ready for to take awesome pics. The 189 screen ratio takes a very short while to adjust to, and once you do youll appreciate how the slightly thinner but longer form has helped to bring about the S8 evolution. If youre an Android enthusiast, the S8 used a good a launcher such like Nova will help you to create home screens as beautiful as these phones are on the outside. Last but not least, dont forget to pickup a nice clear case to protect your phone without sacrificing its stellar appearance.
I would not have gotten this separately but it came with my phone.Designwise, I was actually surprised at how high quality it seems. The matte back is good for the grip and looks very nice. The shell part of the cover is designed to fit perfectly around the sensors, camera, and finger print scanner. The integration of the front screen cover with the AlwaysOnDisplay is a great touch, and lets you answer phone calls without having to open it. The trifold, stand is also very useful and well engineered. While this cover has a lot of features, the flap does add a few nuisances. For instance, there is not a strong magnet that keeps this cover closed. Thus, if you hold it upside down the flap will open right away. Also when opening the flap to take a picture takes some getting used to. The flap also adds balancing issues when holding the phone while lying down or at other angles that were normally easy without a flap, or with a different case. Also, when the phone is lying face up on a table or flat surface, I sometimes grab it and end up only grabbing the front flap, and the phone swings back down onto the table. In terms of protection, you likely will not get any. The lips of the cover are barely raised and the plastic is very thin. In the event of a drop, the phone is likely to pop out of the cover, or crack when landing face down. If you do end up buying this, just make sure to familiarize yourself with the weight and design before walking around with it. Invest in a heavier duty case if protection is your main concern. Design wise, I think Samsung did a good job integrating their accessory with their phone.
Okay... at first I was hesitant to buy such phone online because I always want to see any gadget Im buying personally. Plus, this is the first refurbished phone I bought. Anyway, the phone arrived early and it was in a white box that I first thought was my phone case order. I didnt expect it to be the phone. It was inside a bubble wrap packet along with a generic charger and key pin for the sim card.1. The phone was in good condition clean, scratch free, and with a small sticker on top saying Qualcommm 4G.2. The buttons are funtional volume, power button and Bixby button working too.3. Last update from system showed December 2018, so I updated it and it worked. From 8.0, my software is now 9.0 Android Pie. Last update from system showed December 2018, so I updated it and it worked. From 8.0, my software is now 9.0 Android Pie. I liked how Samsung made it simple to navigate the phone features with the new update. Well, it works for me4. Samsung account working. Bixby working.5. Health sensor at the back is functional. Fingerprint scanning too I tried both 6. Camera is really nice Works like brand new 7. Charging time took me like 23hrs to full battery. Using LTE and sometimes wifi with hotspot, it lasted a day for me.. I also tested it on my game, YouTube, and browsing just to observe the battery life span and so far so good.Bottomline, this unlocked s8 met my expectations.. or should I say more I love it Its like brand new phone No regrets buying from this seller. I had 3 choices and reading reviews multiple times gave me anxiety rather than helping me decide LOL, but one review helped me and Im glad Ive decided to choose this seller.Im reviewing this base on my one week experience with the phone and so far Im loving it
Ive had a couple weeks with my S8 and its simply a wonderful device to pull out of my pocket and use. Everyone has a positive comment about it like they didnt know it existed. Battery life is a little better than expected considering Samsung didnt want to push the limits due to the Note 7 which I miss dearly. The screen is amazing even in power saving mode which I rarely use, its vibrant and as over saturated as it some older models. Pics and videos look great text is sharp and visible in even the smallest font. I have the always setting enabled which is great for checking notifications. The ability to skip songs without turning the screen on is great as well. I was at the beach on a cloud free day and in direct sunlight I didnt have to hold this phone at any awkward ... MoreIve had a couple weeks with my S8 and its simply a wonderful device to pull out of my pocket and use. The ability to skip songs without turning the screen on is great as well. I was at the beach on a cloud free day and in direct sunlight I didnt have to hold this phone at any awkward angles to view the screen.I use the multi window feature more frequently than most. A few days ago I was running GPS and my Gmail account while working remotely. I also had Pandora running and pulled over to use the phone as a hotspot. I didnt stop running anything that was already going, I even made a call from the softphone software while logged into clients PC from my laptop that was using the hotspot. Not one glitch slow down or issue with internet speeds. Thats a lot of tasks to perform on one small device.VR is even a step better than it was on the S7 edge and Note 5. The graphics and audio are much more fluid, the processing power is pretty insane. The unit doesnt overheat like it did after 2030 minutes on the previous Galaxy devices. I played 2 Gun Jack and Drop dead for over an hour and my battery only went down 35. Its still not perfect but its enjoyable and no longer annoying to use for long periods of time.Dual audio Bluetooth I didnt know I would enjoy this feature so much I was in the garage working and I setup my speaker and my wifes speaker the audio was so much better my neighbor came over to see what I was playing music on. I had my Samsung soundbar playing inside the house and a small Bluetooth speaker on the patio. I was going in and out the house a lot it was very convenient. The Camera, I expected it to be a little better than my S7 edge and it is Every time I email or text an image people are asking what camera I used. My iPhone toting coworker said hes thinking about making the switch. Ive taken pictures in the ocean midday and partying afterhours so far no disappointments.Call quality is as expected clear and consistent, video calls look good over WiFi or TMobile network. The included earbuds by AKG were so good sounding I opted to buy the Bluetooth headphones with the Gear VR bundle and they didnt disappoint at all. Crazy battery life and amazing sound.Issues Ive noticed issues with Facebook and Instagram in the last couple of android update on my S7 that I thought would go away with the S8 and they havent. Random lockups and images not loading WiFi or 4G.When using Dual audio calls werent coming through. Instead of ringing the phone would play a busy tone quickly then back to music. I thought it was a notification so I ignored it later realized that I missed 5 calls that didnt even register on the phone, if my wife didnt text me I wouldnt have known.Bluetooth isnt consistent across all VR games using the AKG headphones I received with my bundle.
My Samsung S8+ has been a very well designed phone. I am guessing when this phone was built at the factory, it was created with lots of care and precision. The battery has been working perfectly since I bought this device since 2017. It may of had some quirks sometime but it was due to the apps that I had and once I deleted those apps, my phone began functioning perfectly. With so many new devices that have come out, my phone has been keeping up like as it were a new phone. The glass may have some light scratches but after 5 years, I would consider them as something minimal. It is the perfect size and light weight. The quality of pictures that it takes with the settings that it has, makes them look as vivid as real life.Connectivity to WiFi or broadband widths, ... MoreMy Samsung S8+ has been a very well designed phone. I ordered the used (Good) S8+ and it came in only 4 days (yay!) after my order, rather than the promised 5-7 days!Amazingly, the phone that arrived looked like a brand new, never used, never handled phone. It came with a few accessories that might not even come with new phones, like a charging plug and connecting wire.It also had instructions on how to get it going with a support number, just in case! But, rather than do it myself, I took it to my nearby T-Mobile store and they switched the SIM card and got it connected to their network. When I got it home, using Samsung's Smart Switch software, I uploaded my backup that I had previously downloaded from my old phone that had stopped connecting to the phone network. And my new phone then looked exactly like my old ... MoreI ordered the used (Good) S8+ and it came in only 4 days (yay!) after my order, rather than the promised 5-7 days!Amazingly, the phone that arrived looked like a brand new, never used, never handled phone.
