Came well packaged with a charger and charging brick, along with a sim ejector. The packaging was good for the phone, but not over the top.The phone came with a chip at the top of the screen. I personally do not think you should sell a phone in "Excellent" condition if the screen at all has been broken, scratched, or chipped. I'd understand if anything besides the screen was scuffed or a little scratched because you can just throw a case on it and be fine, but the screen is a little unforgiving, especially for the price point. However, everything seems to work fine with the phone as of this review, ill make sure to update it if something happens. I love the pen and the large screen, it gives me a semi feeling of having a tablet. For such a high price, I expected more from samsung but as I said a good phone except the fingerprint sensor which can drive you crazy when you are outside and have to try several times to unlock the screen and at the end ,using the pin number to unlock it!

For what is an older product version (Note 9, dual sim) the battery life is fantastic, straight out of the box. The Note 9 was the last of the fingerprint on the back models that simply works with no hassle. Down-versioning from the Note 10 to the Note 9 was a gamble well worth it. The stereo speakers, weight, and performance is great. Also, the cameras aesthetics on the back of the phone are perfect (the phone doesn't look like some strange multi-eyed alien), with no apparent trade-off of photo quality either. I look forward to the future models (c. late 2022+) Samsung phone line, but until then, I have found my safe and comfortable harbor with the Note 9 dual sim. I maintain a local and international set of mobile numbers for personal and business. The dual sim ... Yes, with later models with eSim you can achieve the same outcome, but for stated reasons above, I am waiting until it is worth upgrading again.

Great when it works but I am sure I got a lemon. Seven months after I received the phone the entire display died. Was in for a service for a week before it was fixed. About six weeks ago when I used the speaker during a call, the other person kept hearing a dreadful screeching noise. Received a code from Samsung to get feedback from speaker and the noise was dreadful! Followed Samsung's advice to wipe phone before going on for service and as a result fault could not be identified. Put in "voice of concern " to Samsung who said phone was working fine and to consult other Samsung owners for help. Phone put in for third service due to screeching noise. Tech not sure of cause but ordered lots of parts. Get phone back and yup still making screeching noise. In for fourth ... MoreGreat when it works but I am sure I got a lemon. Very very disappointed that phone has had to be serviced four times in 15 months and Samsung could not give a flying whoopee!! Extremely bad customer service from Samsung and will think twice before buying another Samsung phone. Surely after four services a new phone is warranted???
So where to start with which feature is worse then the other. I guess I'll start with the most aggravating. First, I bought two phones and had the same issues with both so I know it's not a glitch with one of them. The most aggravating issue is the phone constantly freezes. I mean you can get it out of the freeze until it finally craps out and reboots. I'm not talking a here and there problem, it's a daily issue at least 10 to 20 times a month. Then there is the darker screen that if it's sunlight you can't even see it. Of course the problems I've had with Samsung phones in the past which has one of the worst text to speech possible. They finally got smart and allowed the user to pick Google speech which works a million times better. If you don't pick it carefully ... It could say something like my shorts are in the shower with Paris Hilton. It's a beautiful pageant that surrounds a mess. So I would run from this phone at anywhere neat the cost. I may have bought it again if it was 200 dollars total price and say may have because I may be able to sell a new one that I bought for 200 dollars to make a profit. But I wouldn't buy it at any price to use again.
Hope Samsung is listening. I moved up from the Note 9 because I feared that there would be no more Notes.I am right handed and hold my phone in my left hand, thus I use my left thumb to adjust the volume buttons. In the Note 20, I hole my phone in my left hand then have to use my right thumb to adjust the volume buttons. This has become a two handed problem. I also use a case and when I flip it over to view horizontally, the case helps to hold the phone, but now have to go to the bottom of the phone to adjust volume. Not impressed. The Note 9 camera was in the middle. On the Note 20, for balancing purposes and allowing the S pen to be on the right side like the Note 9 would have been much better and intuitive, as well allowing for a phone jack. For me the phone ... Hopefully Samsung stops copying? Apple by putting there cameras in the same orientation as the iPhone, of which I am not fan. I still find Samsung phones superior to the iPhone , one fact due to the Samsung phones having an SD card slot.Hopefully Samsung reads this and makes a better Note 22? flagship phone with my suggestions.
I've been thru 3 handsets in the past 6 months. The first lasted about 9 months, the next 2 which were replacements under warranty both crashed in 3 months. The first handset died when the screen decided not to work anymore. The next 2 decided to no longer connect to the network. I've decided I want out of the contract which still has around 18 months to run & intend pursuing this. The handsets are a dog. They chew battery likes there's no tomorrow & after talking to a few repair shops, it seems my experience is not uncommon. One shop says he gets at least 2 cases very similar to mine every week.
I preordered this phone when it was launched. By far the best phone I've ever owned. This phone has everything and more. If you have the budget for it, and you either have big hands or are okay with using two hands for everyday use, this is the phone. But, I will tell you what makes this phone so great. First thing is the screen, which is pretty much perfect. The resolution is incredible, with the WQHD super AMOLED display being the pinnacle of phone screens. The human eye can only make out so many pixels, so at a certain point the pixel density becomes negligible. The true test then is how it looks, and this screen looks fantastic. The brightness is solid, the color is great, and the responsiveness is impressive. The battery life on this phone is pretty good. ... MoreI preordered this phone when it was launched. Overall, I find that phone companies care far more about the glitz and glam of phone specs, and rarely prioritize incredible batteries in their flagship phones. Still, with a screen this large and bright, and with a refresh rate so quick, the battery is impressive. I hope that in the future companies will offer alternative flagships that make small compromises on specs where needed in order to have truly impressive batteries that couldn't die in a day if you tried.
I bought it 20 months ago. The Bluetooth did not give me adjust volume when it connect with my car. It is locked in a middle of the bar when I try to use WhatsApp. Problems with a volumes on Bluetooth started after the first updates. The noise reduction was cancelled/changed with this update and noise cover your voice for the receiver when you talk in a car. Please consider it. If it is work when you bought it - it doesn't promised to work after any updates which Samsung provide regularly; and regular you lost functionality or security ( around year ago Samsung start to read and collect data from your conversations on emails)
I was extremely pleased with my purchase of the open-box Samsung Galaxy Note 20. It was a true authentic open box phone. Other than the original cellophane, the box and all the original packaging appeared to be almost or in fact possibly brand new, without a mark on any part of it, impeccably clean. And the phone has been working very well, like I imagine it was supposed to work if I had purchased it new. I had done a good deal of comparative research before hitting the buy button, and it had been the best deal that I had been able to find, so I was also quite happy about the fairly good price in comparison to competing sellers. It was also shipped so quickly from the trustworthy store of Walmart that does an excellent job in shipping all their products. Thank you.
