Prada Luna Rossa Eau De Toilette Spray 150 ml

One of the best perfumes to get. This one I got 4 years ago and restocked twice since then. This is perfect for the day. Works great with brunch/ lunch meetings. Can also be used for day dates your date will def notice this. Women have more olfactory neuron?s basically their smell sense is better than men so just a few sprays of this is enough. Let me start this off by saying this: I am not the biggest fan of powdery fragrances. Normally I try to avoid anything with more than a hint of powder, and I wouldn't think of wearing it in hot weather (just like overly sweet fragrances, too much powder can be overpowering to me in the heat). It smells great and is quite versatile, and honestly the powder isn't enough to bother me (it honestly really works with the citrus and aromatics). Good for work, good for summer, good for casual or lightly formal... You shouldn't offend anyone. The bottle is nothing to get excited about. There is a lot of plastic, and the atomizer works well but not as perfectly as some.

The smell is pretty similar to Polo Red. When I first sprayed it on I wasn't impressed. But after about 20 minutes the scent began to kick in and it was a very nice smell. I do 3 sprays to the neck (left side, right side and center) and 2 sprays on my shirt. I wouldn't do too much more. I was always taught that when walking in a room your fragrance should be discovered, not announced. It lasts maybe 4-5 hours so it's not an all day scent. Some fragrances work best depending on the season. It's a good winter cologne. I have to see how it holds up in warmer temps.

Prada always does a great job of creating these clean and soapy fragrances that you enjoy wearing. This fragrance is perfect for spring/summer daytime use or office use. It is not offensive to any nose whatsoever and has a light, clean and also somewhat soft scent. Love that it has a bit of sweetness, with some aromatic notes along with musk. As great as this is for daytime use, I often wear this to bed because it’s such a pleasant and comforting scent. Would highly recommend but don’t expect this to be a beast of a performer.

It includes a very interesting saffron note which adds a very unique complexity. It dries down to a very well-developed musk. Don't be fooled by the name though as it is not an aquatic fragrance as they tend to go. I can see why they'd choose to associate the ocean with this scent however. The longevity is good considering the fragrance notes are not heavy ones. It lasted 4-6 hours on my skin. In conclusion, any fragrance collection absolutely requires a blue fragrance to be relevent and this one is a great choice if you want to stand out from the usual suspects.

For reference, I usually like fragrances that smell clean, citrusy, fresh, or “green.” I am not usually a fan of sweet, powdery, musky, amber, or gourmand scents. I didn’t notice that it lingered for a particularly long time, but I can still smell a whiff on my wrist 5-6 hours after I use one spritz from the sample size I received. I think that is a reasonable wear time. Overall this scent is a winner in my book. I removed one star only because I have eau de toilettes that offer a bit more lasting power for your buck. With the Prada name attached, I would hope my dollar went a little farther with wear time.

Amazing Cologne

My husband had bern wearing this for years! He has other colonges that he switches to now and then but Luna Rossa is always his favorite. He gets compliments every time he wears it. It has such a fresh, clean scent. Not overpowering at all. Do e people are commenting that it does not last long. It lasts all day on my husband. The other Prada scents arr nice but nothing compares to this. Do not hesitate to try this!

The good news is that if you (and those around you) enjoy the scent from the moment it is sprayed, it is nice and linear, so that's how you will smell throughout its' duration on your skin/clothing. The bad news is that Prada's Luna Rossa line doesn't seem to really last long on (my) skin, so you'll find yourself wanting to re-spray about 3-4 hours later... so if you like it, buy a large bottle because you'll need it to keep that nice scent on you all day. While it has the 'clean' vibe, it differs from L'Homme in that you have a more citrus/lavender freshness, and not an iris/floral freshness like L'Homme does. My girlfriend loves both and I totally understand why. In short, this is geared towards those looking for a fresh/clean fragrance without a floral vibe and excels in warmer weather as the fragrance is meant more as an up-close scent rather than one that projects.

Son loves it

I came across this some years ago when struggling with what aftershave to buy my son and an advisor pointed me to this, she said it was very popular with younger men, anyway I went ahead a purchased a bottle, and she was spot on, my son loved it. It's not a heady scent or overwhelming and you don't need to drown yourself in it, the scent lasts ages.Every year since I've bought a bottle for my son, he has tried other aftershaves but he always comes back to this. Must be good because he is very fussy!!
