Prada Luna Rossa Sport Eau de Toilette 100 ml

Full disclosure: I really like Prada's fragrances for men. I own Amber Pour Homme, Luna Rossa Carbon, Luna Rossa Sport, L'Homme, L'Homme L'Eau and L'Homme Intense. That clean vibe just hits me right in the feels! Why so many from Prada? It's because their main focus seems to be to have a very 'fresh and clean' DNA in all of their fragrances. That being said, I had never tried the original Luna Rossa, and I'm kind of sad that I hadn't sooner. Big thanks to Influenster for sending the OG my way to check out, even if it was only a sample. I could see this as being a great inoffensive office-friendly fragrance, as well as one to wear on hot weather days. The good news is that if you (and those around you) enjoy the scent from the moment it is sprayed, it is nice and linear, so that's how you will smell throughout its' duration on your skin/clothing. Totally blind buy worthy in my opinion. The bad news is that Prada's Luna Rossa line doesn't seem to really last long on (my) skin, so you'll find yourself wanting to re-spray about 3-4 hours later... so if you like it, buy a large bottle because you'll need it to keep that nice scent on you all day. While it has the 'clean' vibe, it differs from L'Homme in that you have a more citrus/lavender freshness, and not an iris/floral freshness like L'Homme does. My girlfriend loves both and I totally understand why. In short, this is geared towards those looking for a fresh/clean fragrance without a floral vibe and excels in warmer weather as the fragrance is meant more as an up-close scent rather than one that projects.

Prada Luna Rossa Eau Sport EDT opens with a moderate projection of citrus, spicy, and woody accords. The opening is very fresh, sharp, sour, summery, common, and very pleasant. The citron, bergamot, and ginger are the most noticeable opening notes, they create a slightly sweet, citrusy, and sour note. The ginger adds a spicy touch, as noticeable as the citruses. The lavender is one step behind, same as the cedar that comes up very quickly after the initial application. The cedar is a very fresh woody accord. The ambergris takes a moment to come up, as it appears as the bergamot losses some intensity. Once Prada Luna Rossa Eau Sport EDT has reached its full dry down, it can be summarized as a low projection, citrus, citron, ambergris, ginger, cedar, and lavender fragrance. The fragrance feels casual, clean, delicate, diurnal, dry, faint, fresh, gentle, light, moderate-quality, modern, playful, slightly powdery, ambery, refreshing, short-lived, sour, sporty, slightly sweet, unisex, weak, white, woody, zesty, and pleasant #cologne

This fragrance was one of my first. To me, this is like Prada Blacks little brother. They have some similarities. Upon initial spray it’s a sweet/fresh aromatic lavender scent. It’s very pleasant and beautiful. Then after a while it dries down more into a warm vanilla, and lavender aroma. It’s hard to describe honestly but it’s such a unique and outstanding fragrance. This doesn’t last as much at Prada black but it still hold up a good 6-8 hours. Plus this juice stays on clothes for a good 24+ hours. Don’t hesitate to buy this, it’s a safe blind buy

This is one of the smoothest fragrances that I have in my collection. Although the fragrance is labeled as sport, I do feel that it functions as a more versatile scent than just a gym fragrance. This is the perfect scent for when you want to smell pleasant and not overbearing. I do see a little bit of a resemblance to Le Male so if you like that scent DNA, you will definitely enjoy this. This is one of those where you keep wanting to re-sniff after spraying it on. Such an underrated gem in the Prada Luna Rossa line. It is the perfect balance of sweet and fresh!!

The scent falls under the category of a "blue scent" (Blue De Chanel or Versace Dylan Blue) and the world of fragrance, arguably, may never need another addition to this catagory as it has been the goal of pretty much every designer house since Armani released AdG. However, this one does it with a little bit of originality and what feels like a little bit more expertise than what we've been seeing from the other houses. It opens with a citrusy accord however quickly develops a complex heart with more earthy notes including lavender, iris, and sage. It includes a very interesting saffron note which adds a very unique complexity. It dries down to a very well-developed musk. Don't be fooled by the name though as it is not an aquatic fragrance as they tend to go. I can see why they'd choose to associate the ocean with this scent however. The longevity is good considering the fragrance notes are not heavy ones. It lasted 4-6 hours on my skin. In conclusion, any fragrance collection absolutely requires a blue fragrance to be relevent and this one is a great choice if you want to stand out from the usual suspects.

One of my favorite designer fragrances, Prada Luna Rossa Sport is a masterful blend that balanced a lot of seemingly paradoxes—it’s clean but alluring, sweet but fresh, airy but a touch powdery, classy but sensual, youthful but never juvenile. Super versatile, Prada Sport is a 3 season fragrance but id even reach for it during cooler summer nights. Its projection and silage is very good for an EDT—you’ll catch noticeable wafts through most of your wear and longetivity extends beyond a full workday. Super non-offensive, this works for every occasion with its airy, slightly powdery vanilla and sweet lavender. Probably the best all around fragrance from the Prada Luna Rossa Line. I keep a backup bottle.

Right Idea, Wrong Execution.

I had been begging for a new Luna Rossa Sport release. What I got was my favorite scent ruined by a suffocating tobacco note. Prada Luna Rossa Sport (Original version) has the BEST vanilla note I have ever smelled. It's clean Prada style allows it to be used in practically any situation, including the high heat, which is impressive for a vanilla centric fragrance. Instead of leaning into this, they ruined it by tying it to a new tobacco note. They SHOULD have leaned into this amazing vanilla note and I hope to see one day a Prada Luna Rossa EDP with a (similar to the OG, without the tobacco) heavier emphasis on the vanilla, making it a deeper, sweeter release almost like a night version of the scent. The best there is!

This is my signature scent. Love the Prada scents for women and men. I bought all the candy scents for my wife.just got her paradoxe. I have 6 bottles of this in my closet. This is my favorite. The carbon is pretty good too. But my wife loves this one more. They never have Luna rossa edt original in stock I just ordered a bottle I want to check it out. Guys I’m serious you wear this and the ladies take notice.it drives my wife crazy. It’s not overbearing either which is why I like the Prada brand so much. This has got to be the best masculine scent made!it’s has a sexy confident scent!nothing else out there is even close.

Unexpected

This was a blind buy - purchased based off reviews. I was expecting something a little more aquatic and clean. This has some of those notes, but the tonka bean gives this fragrances a sweetness. Almost a vanilla vibe to it. It smells good, but doesnt fit my blue collar man. I could almost see this as being unisex. If you are familiar with CH good girl perfume, this is like a male version IMO. Hope this helps someone looking for their man!

luna rossas baby has grown up sport 2024

Fragrance market sent me the exact product they advertised on thier website prada 2024 luna rossa sport..the Fragrance starts off a little sweeter than the 2015 formulation. After about 30 minutes is when you can tell the difference the ginger starts to energize the Fragrance while backing down on the sweetness and blending well with the heavier vanilla, tonka bean, lavender. Throw in a hay accord that gives it a earthier Amber smell. We all worry when Fragrances are reformulate. Not in this case it projects and leaves a scent trail well into hour 2 then the circle shrinks to with-in arms length for another 2 hours. Before settling on the skin for 8 hours to 10 hours. Clothes well over 24 hours.
