Great service, everyone at Modern Metal Detectors was very helpful. I was surprised when I received the Minelab 6000 sooner than expected. My first trip out I found 12 pieces of gold (4.6 grams) in areas that have been heavily detected. It would have been nice if it would have come with a usb charge cord and a carrying case for the headphones. All things considered, it’s a great detector.
Received the GPX 6000 fast. Although it had assembly issues, Modern Metal Detectors contacted Minelab and they sent me a new one with 2 day shipping. Working with MMD owner Daniel was great.
With just limited use at this time, I have found that it is a very sensitive machine and adjusts well to soil conditions on its own. It is very lightweight and I am happy that it is compact as well. I like the wireless headphone feature so that I don't have the cord dangling. I have already found targets that are very small that are deep and I am excited for the better chances to get more gold with this detector.
I was wondering if the GPX-6000 was named to match the price? The description I read on this page seemed a little lacking for a "professional" metal detector that is?The only other review sure seemed pleased with the company overall, yet not much said about the detector itself, maybe due to a gag order of sorts for employee's against negative portrayals of a $5k, oh what were one of the pushed highlights I think maybe how sensitive the unit is, but I still don't know like depth on this highly sensitive system, water proof, il don't know ?Salesmanship gentlemen, let's work on it !Thanks.
