Miele Boost CX1 Bagless Canister Vacuum Graphite Grey

This is my second Miele product (other appliance is 6 years old and going strong with no issues!), and so far so good. Got fed up with my rollerball upright from rival brand which had lost all suction power and always felt flimsy to manoeuvre. This feels much sturdier, and the suction is great. Hoovered a headboard and it looked like the adverts on tv! It does sit nicely on an individual step too, so doing the stairs is easier. The unit looks very smart, but the glossy black coating comes off incredibly easily - it scuffed against a door and the coating came off leaving white scratch marks on the body. The metal pole feels nice and solid, unlike my previous plastic one, and the mechanism for extending is rather pleasing to use and doesn't feel like it's going to disengage and retract. The overall weight is pretty light so that might encourage the children to use it once in a while... who'm I kidding?!Purchased online from Donaghy Bros as it was the best price by far. Faultless with the order and very speedy delivery - my only criticism is the parcel company who scheduled the delivery for the following Monday, but actually delivered it on the Saturday before, and left it sitting outside with the product packaging on full view all day as no-one was in. Fortunately no-one helped themselves to it.

Cleaning the apartment and throwing away the garbage takes little time. Cleaned mattresses on beds and soft chairs. I tried to wash the garbage container, the container is easily washed under running water. Then leave it for a day to dry and your vacuum cleaner is ready for work again. I tried to wash the paralon filter once, it also washes easily and dries well. Since I don't need to clean the floor every day, I also need to clean the furniture sometimes, so this vacuum cleaner suits me as a versatile and convenient tool.

Expensive hoover but your paying for a quality product. It's small in size but packs a punch for effectiveness. I purchased this for my mums house and have put it through its paces at home first. It's compact in size making it good if your limited on storage space, comes with a multitude of attachments which are really quick and easy to swap. The dust collection bin is easy and clean to empty. Dispute its small size it has a really good suction and picked up well on both carpets and hard floors, eradicating any trace of dog hair which is usually left behind. I'm really happy with this hoover and it will be great for my elderly mum as it's simple to use, easy to manoeuvre and compact to store. Great Vacuum Cleaner

I have had a Miele vacuum cleaner in the past and was very pleased with it however I replaced it with an upright vacuum from a different brand which I have been using for the past couple of years. Nothing compares to Miele though so I have decided to try MIELE Boost CX1 Cat & Dog PowerLine Bagless Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner.I must say that I was not disappointed! First of all it looks great! It is very compact and rather pleasant looking.The suction power is very good - it picks up all the bits in no time. It comes with several attachments - crevice nozzle, upholstery brush, dusting brush, adjustable floor head and turbobrush which are all very useful.This vacuum cleaner is easy to manoeuvre and so much easier to use on the stairs than an upright vacuum!The finishing touches on the handles on the flexible pipe and plastic attachments could be slightly better as they feel rather cheap.The turbobrush is good at picking up hair (I don't have any pets so just use it for my long hair) however you then have to use scissors to cut the hair that have wound around the brush.But overall it is a great vacuum cleaner and I would definitely recommend it.

The CX1 Cat and Dog is a sturdy well made vacuum cleaner. The best thing is that it picks up all the bits and the turbo brush collects my long hair, unlike my previous cleaner. We don't have pets but do shed hair. I like having several controls on the appropriate suction . My house feels a lot fresher and cleaner. The crevice tool is great when doing the car.Downside, the 3 attachments fall off the hose clip. Cleaning all the filters takes some time and need 24 hours to dry so factor this in to your decision. The hair round the turbo brush has to be cut off and there is a specially designed groove on the brush to do this.Overall it moves well, has a long cord and I am pretty happy with it after one month. The good:- Easy to use extendable wand.- Powerful suction.- Relatively quiet even at high suction, and one is able to moderate suction (and sound level) over a wide range to suit everything from carpets to sheers.- Electrical cord is long and the rewind mechanism is smooth.- Suction hose is long enough and swivels at the handle end to avoid knots.- The disposable sacs are easy to manage.- Controls are easy to understand.The less good:- It is not the lightest machine to carry up steps when vacuuming a carpeted staircase. I have been a loyal dyson user for years but decided after the last one to try a different brand. Oh how I wish I hadn't.I'm not sure if mine is just a dud because looking at other reviews there are plenty of satisfied customers.Mine barely picks up on any surface and with any of the heads. So much so that I wondered if I had put the filter in the wrong way.It also has an awful squeak - vacuuming is irritating enough without listening to a high pitched noise.On the plus side it is light weight and easy to empty - not that it has ever been full since the suction is so poor.I got it for pet hairs since we have a dog.
