Enhance your workflow and comfort across multiple devices with the rose-colored Logitech MX Keys Mini Wireless Keyboard. Featuring an ultra-slim and lightweight design that forgoes the numeric keypad, the MX Keys Mini keyboard helps to maximize your desktop space while being the ideal travel companion. They also include Smart Illumination backlighting that automatically activates and adjusts its brightness in darkened environments. With Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy wireless connectivity, the MX Keys Mini has near universal compatibility with a multitude of devices, including Windows 10, Mac, Android, iPad platforms, and more without the need for a USB adapter. However, you can use a separately purchased Logi Bolt wireless USB receiver with this keyboard. Connect with up to three devices simultaneously and switch between them at the touch of a button. By downloading the Logi Options software and using the Logitech Flow feature, users can seamlessly navigate, copy/paste text, images, and files between them. Other features include smart keys that can insert emojis, mute/unmute your microphone, and activate voice dictation features. On a normal use basis, the MX Keys can last up to 10 days.

Someone definitely didn't cut corners here.Well, there you go, a lengthy but detailed review of what to expect when you receive it. I will be sure to update this after I get some mileage on it to post any problems.

This is less of a problem and more of a complaint. I've been waiting for a version of the MX Keys that matched my workstation color scheme, which is primarily white with some aluminum components. When I saw the MX Keys S in Pale Grey, with what appeared to be white or off-white keys on an aluminum base, I thought I'd found the keyboard I was looking for. However, I was disappointed when I pulled the keyboard out of the box to reveal pale grey keys on an aluminum base. Even some of the third-party reviews show the keys being closer to white than grey. One major PC site described a "white-on-aluminum colorway" which is what I expected, and the picture he posted looks like that.Another major PC site describes “the Pale Gray unit's white buttons." These reviews and the pictures make me wonder if this unit I received had something happen to it in the manufacturing process.I did a lot of research before I bought this keyboard, and having it look different than how it was described and pictured in several places, including third-party reviews, leaves me a little frustrated. The design is elegant, and the typing experience is excellent, which primarily matters. Still, I'm disappointed in the mismatch between the promotional and third-party images and descriptions and the real thing.

It constantly disconnects and doesn't recognize my keystrokes, or recognizes them all at once and repeats the keys I entered over and over again. I ended up buying a new PC with Bluetooth to connect it, which fixed the problem-The Logitech options software used to customize the keys and lighting was also contributing to weird key issues, like delay between pressing a key and seeing the input. It even had a frustrating bug that caused the volume key to get stuck either increasing or decreasing the volume, which is obviously problematic if you're wearing headphones. I ended having to uninstall it, so I lost some functionality there.

I began using this keyboard at the beginning of 2020. The performance and features were great and I was mostly happy with the keyboard. The keystroke has a nice feel to it, the nearfield backlighting worked well (though I wish it had an always on feature), and connectivity was never an issue. I also wish that the keyboard could be connected via USB, as it would add a level of simplicity for when needing to rapidly plug it in to another computer (and eliminate any potential response issues).Unfortunately, the keyboard started to degrade after about 18 months of use. The nearfield backlighting stopped working, and the keyboard now only illuminates if a keystroke is made. The backlighting failed altogether around the caps lock/shift/a/s region, so that area is mostly dim permanently. The black paint on the keys has started to chip off in places, letting the backlighting shine through. Occasionally keystrokes don't registered, mostly in the area where the backlighting has failed. I'll note that the firmware is up to date and I've tried to take relatively good care of the keyboard. It is disappointing, really. I acknowledge that I am a relatively heavy user (work from home and write lots of reports), but the keyboard is advertised as premium and has price tag to match. I'm not going to pay that much for a keyboard that seems to be a three-year disposable piece of hardware, especially given that other keyboards in the price range don't seem to suffer from the same defects. I've been a Logitech user for over a decade, but the quality seems to have fallen off quite a bit. The logi mouse I use registers double clicks with a single mouse press and the scroll wheel creaks like an old chair. My advice to those contemplating this would be to consider other keyboards in the price range as well, as you may find something more durable.
My home setup includes a Windows 10 desktop PC, a MacBook Pro M1, and a Windows 11 laptop from work that is locked down and will not accept any third-party software. I got the full-size MX Keys keyboard and MX Master 3s mouse to consolidate operation of those three machines to one keyboard and mouse. The hardware connected easily to all three computers. Mac and Windows layouts are clearly labeled. The mouse has buttons that enable Mac gesture features for those used to the MagicMouse operation. The special functions (e.g. screenshot, lock, etc.) on the keyboard work on the locked-down work laptop without requiring any custom software. People have made custom software to enable such functionality, but Logitech should do so with the next iteration or firmware update. Very pleased with the product overall, as I have been with most other Logitech products.
I'm coming from an older full-sized Logitech keyboard. I wanted to get a keyboard that was a little more ergonomic, since I never used the numeric keypad and my mouse hand was usually angled pretty far right. It took a few days to get used to the size of this keyboard, but I really like it. The keys feel pretty nice when pressed, and they have a nice, but short travel feel to me. I turned the backlighting off, since I don't really care about it, and the battery is lasting a very long time for me. It works great with the Bolt Receiver, but it's a ridiculous extra cost and the receiver should be included with the keyboard like the older Logitech wireless products. Also, Logi Options+ should really be able to update the keyboard through the receiver and not only when the keyboard is connected via Bluetooth.

These are the least used actions. Not to mention that there is a native shortcut for emoji in Windows.I don't understand why Logitech decided to ruin such a great keyboard idea with a terrible decision for absolutely terrible keycaps that just not suitable for Windows experience. Offer a dedicated Windows keyboard or supply the keyboard with 4 replaceable keycaps for Start, Alt Left, Alt Right, and Ctrl Right. Mac's prominent marking kills the experience.
I purchased an MX Keys keyboard in June of last year through Staples. About 2-months ago the "K" button stopped working and has no springback so I just get "kkkkkkkkkkkk" everytime I go near the key. I reached out to customer service, which seems to be missing the Service component. We went back and forth for over a month, asking for videos and pictures of the problem even though the issue isn't visible in photos... After getting them all the info they requested I get this as a response:"Please accept my sincere apologies for your dissatisfaction with our product. I will pass along your feedback to our design team.We are very sorry that it is no longer eligible for warranty replacement. This is the last Logitech product I will ever buy, and I have been a loyal customer for most of my life.
I thought I'd try this keyboard because of the size. I never used the number keypad on the right so why bother with it?I've had this keyboard for a while and over all it works great. Nicely, the usb port is the same as on my wireless logitech head phones so I just alternate using the charger occasionally and haven't had an issue with either's charges. It was easy to reprogram the print key to use my SnagIt app - that was a concern I had that I could continue to use it on the print key.I find the F numbers too small and dim to see easily which I want. Seriously thinking of taking a silver sharpie and making a little mark on the F12. :-)Obviously the more I use it, the more I get used to the layout and and ctrl, alt keys. a gazillion years of typing on a standard keyboard is hard to break.Overall thought, it is a nice compact keyboard with a good feel to the keys. It takes up very little space on the desktop. The keys are backlit so it does make it easier to see where the special keys are. I don't use some of the special media keys - my headphone mutes automatically when I flip the mic up and usually I would just mute a video with the mute on the screen. I'm not even sure what the keys over F1, F2 and F3 do. If you are someone that has a lot of use for media buttons, you will find them much more useful than me.I also use a PC and have always had a PC keyboard. having opt|start on one key and cmd|alt on another is difficult for me trying to find the key combination I want.It may sound like like I don't like the keyboard -- actually I do like it. Just pointing out the issues I have with getting adjusted to it. Others may adapt much more quickly than I did.
Originally got this one to use for working from home, from the office, and connecting to my phone for quick keyboard typing. I love that you can quickly switch between the three inputs. Battery life is amazing just like the MX Master 3 mouse, that is if you keep the keyboard lights off.
