80% of the size but meets 100% of my needs

They have the spring and travel of your typical non-Apple laptop keyboard (this is an imprecise science but I'd say a bit like a Thinkpad keyboard). In the few months I've had it, I tend to need to recharge every 1-1.5 months. This is admittedly because I have the backlighting turned off usually (the proximity sensor on this is very good at lighting up the keyboard when you hover close to it). It's ambient light detection isn't quite as fast but if in a fairly well lit environment I've found that within 10-15 minutes it'll automatically turn off the backlighting. It took the briefest moments to get used to the dual Mac+Windows markings on function keys for eg. The hotkeys at the top are the default instead of traditional function keys. I've not quite worked out how to use the switching between devices buttons to the top left, and it took me a while to realise that there's built in buttons for say emojis, screen capture, and muting in meetings. The latter is now quite handy. Of course ultimately the Logi+ software allows you to configure some of the buttons yourself though I've not yet had need for it.Overall, really pleased with this product! Can recommend (Logitech's products are on the pricier side but for me I appreciate the quality to the MX range and am fully converted to it).

I have been using the mx keys mini keyboard now for 10 days and i am now charging it for the first time, so it definitely does last for 10 days on a charge. Apparently it will last for months with the backlight off but i have it on as i like it. The keyboard itself is lovely to use has a nice smooth feel to it and keys are quiet. The keyboard has little rubber feet to stop movement and sliding. Although the angle cannot be adjusted i found the position perfect for me. Very easy to set up and transports well no scuffs being carried round with me. I also love the colour of mine which is rose gold.

I can't recommend this enough. Fantastic value for money.

Great, not quite perfect

Excellent typing experience, like a really good laptop (about same size as Laptop keyboard but move it where you want - yay!).Pairing is easy and the switching between devices is very solid. I'd use more than 3 choices if available. it is transformative to hook your phone to this and be able to type properly without having to tap on a tiny touchscreen. The special keys across the top are useful, especially emoji and screen capture ones.As others mention it is compact and solid (not light!).Why not 5 stars:- the keys get bizarrely grubby very easily (maybe it was a mistake to get the silver/white colour combo).- I've had one key pop off just from placing into a bag and taking out again. That could be worrying, as it will rapidly descend to uselessness if ... MoreExcellent typing experience, like a really good laptop (about same size as Laptop keyboard but move it where you want - yay!).Pairing is easy and the switching between devices is very solid. That could be worrying, as it will rapidly descend to uselessness if keys pop off and get lost.- the backlighting, while welcome in low light is irritating. It comes on by default, and you have to press the 'Dim backlight' button repeatedly to turn it off.- the Logitech MX something software is really disappointing and hard to recommend. Theoretically you can set up the top row of keys to do app-specific things but in fact I could not get this to work. Also had hoped it would be possible to get the backlight to default OFF but no, all you can do is turn it off entirely.- the keys are set up to be dual Windows/MacOS. The way this is done is confusing, it is much better implemented on the older K780 keyboard which I use at home (here the Windows function is in obvious white colour while the iOS function is in a lighter less obvious font colour -- maybe I would feel differently if using this on a MacOS device!).- The MX Mini only operates off rechargeable batteries via a USB-C mini port. When it came first it ran out of charge quite soon (< 1 week). Since I recharged it, it has been around 14 days and it is still ~80% charge (but by no means in use every day). Not to harp on about the good old days, but the K780 runs for years on cheap AAA batteries. So, all things considered, a good keyboard, maybe even a great keyboard but not quite perfect.

MX Keys Mini defines smart technology superbly
16 October 2021

Excellence in every aspect, design and features deliver on supreme performance. The Bluetooth connection is phenomenal and allows ease of use when changing between compatible devices. The comfortable keys of the keyboard make quick and light work of typing and the voice to text is flawless as it captures my text exactly as spoken without errors or spelling mistakes. The overall high quality speaks for itself, the solid feel of the product and the aesthetically eye appealing coloured pink exterior of the MX Keys Mini is beautiful. I love the portability of it too and it is truly a joy to use. Every minute detail is magnificently well thought through and created to cater for everyone's individual needs.

Mini yet mighty

Absolutely love the look of this mini compact keyboard. It's perfect for on the go, as it's bluetooth it can connect easily to your device. Though its convenient, I would put this into a very niche market - as its certainly not geared towards gaming purposes. Perfect for folk working on the go, or with limited desk space perhaps. Hefty price tag is the only negative with this keyboard.

Nice mini KB

First of all i would like to appreciate the besuty of this mini key board. I m in love with the light pink metallic colour of it. It is mini but actually removing the bit on the right hand side of the normal keyboard which makes it mini. But to be honest i prefer typing numbers etc from right hand side part which mainly missing so it would have been amazing if everything of the normal would have been fitted into this. Secondly the other minor con i didn't like about it was the keys are not silent which ibwas expecting as compared to many others.Still i love it and def will continue using it.

I love this keyboard. The size is just perfect for a smaller desk. The build quality is very good and the level of customisation is excellent. Logitech products are consistently high quality and this keyboard is no exception.

Review of LOGITECH MX Keys Mini Wireless Keyboard - Rose
22 April 2023

Good Points: Lovely looking keyboard, nice quality, lovely feel when typing.Improvement Points: It kept dropping out on wireless Bluetooth connection to my pc especially in shared workspaces...I tried all the fixes but it was just very annoying...its a real drawback that there is no wired option...how silly not to offer the wired connection as an option. I returned it and swapped for a wired one that is not quite so nice.

Wow! A teacher game changer!
9 October 2021

The MX keys mini is a gorgeous wireless illuminated keyboard! It connected easily and is a great addition to my classroom! It can be used to type and change slides from anywhere in the room which gives me the freedom to move whilst teaching. The rose gold colour also makes it visually appealing and it is easy to charge too and comes with a lead to do so. It is lightweight and portable so easy to carry. An added feature is the backlit key illumination. I really love this keyboard! The only thing I think it's missing is a case to transport but other than that it is great!
