I received a sample from Macy’s. I had tried it over a year ago, it was just ordinary to me at the time. Any time since then when I’d see ads or something, I wouldn’t have positive feelings about it. After receiving this sample, I thought well, let’s just see- Wow, I don’t know what I was thinking the first time because this stuff is amazing. I don’t I’ll admit the scent profile is not my normal wheeelhouse but it works. Beautiful scent with moderate silage and decent longevity. I’d say it’s a classic scent for everyday use.

I absolutely love this perfume and its the only one I buy so I was really delighted to see this new refill option as opposed to throwing away so many bottles (I have this perfume in abt every size it comes in, including multiple purse options and usually 3 to 4 larger bottles per year). However, I was disappointed to learn that I have not a single bottle that is refillable; at least not without destroying the top first. So I have been using the refill straight from that bottle to enjoy my favorite scent. Hopefully we can figure out how to make this refill option more user friendly going forward.

The re[resentative says that she uses her hand to remove bottle top, but I cannot budge mine even with pliers and ruined the bottle top. Then the next representative says that I cannot get a refund unless I return the ruined bottle and the refill item. It is my job to do your companies job. This is the only product that I have had this kind of situation with in over a quarter of a century of using any type of Lancome product. I just recently purchased and it smells lighter and I can spray behind my neck, ears, wrists and elbows and behind knees also and it wears off within minutes. No one can smell on me, I have to have my husband or children smell my wrists and it’s hard to get a smell. I called Lancôme today and couldn’t get a straight up answer…was told different bottles have different variations…it didn’t make sense and never got a straight answer on specifics of what to look for on packaging to see if I’m getting the original formula. Everything you’ve ever heard about this fragrance is true. You’ll get a lot of positive responses in public. It’s appropriate for the workplace, dinner/brunch or date or family function. It has good lasting power!! It smells mature but not older person mature. I find it appropriate for a large age group(17-50) very feminine, so def not unisex keep that in mind. You can never go wrong when you reach for it but because it’s so common and such an “in general” sent, you could get bored of it fast.

10 Year Anniversary of La Vie est Belle fragrance to try! They made it reffillable So sad i never tried this earlier! Only sample but it didnt made me buy it. And today i fell in love with #lavieestbelle! Top Notes: blackcurrant and pear Middle Notes: iris, jasmine, blossom and orange Base Notes: praline, vanilla, patchouli, tonka bean Always loved vanilla in perfume notes! But blackcurrant is something amazing! So long lasting scent, stays on all day and i do not need to reapply! So fresh, sweet and original smell! Lovely packaging, boxes are glittery and looks so rich. Love the bottle design, grey glittery ribbon makes it look so beautiful! It makes my life beautiful as it says in the name of perfume! It is true Love it and cant recommend it enough!
4 stars review.I was very hesitant to buy La vie est belle. I loved it when other people were wearing it, but once I would smell it from the bottle, I didn't like it very much. After a long time, finally I've decided to purchase it. There was a good deal a few weeks ago on a set that contained the 50ml. I'm still not crazy after the 1st spritz from the bottle, but once it stays on my skin for a while, it smells really, really nice. I'm not a perfume expert, but I think that the base notes that I smell later after applying, are the strongest feature of this perfume. Very enjoyable smell as it stays for very, very long. All this to say, I don't regret the purchase. :)
I love this fragrance. I have a problem with perfumes fading away before an hour (even the hight priced ones) or they instantly turn to an alcohol smell. With La Vie Belle; it stays on all night at work. It is a soft wonderful scent, and I have had so many compliments; and everyone wanting to know what I was wearing. I have found my perfect parfume, and I will never wear anything else. Thank you Lacome!
