So instead of displaying this bottle, I'm going to have to stuff it in a drawer. I was going to order some as gifts originally, but decided to hold out. VERY glad I did. Disappointed is an understatement.

Still get daily and it’s amazing because I love how it can ringer on my significant other…. It’s a female repellent since women know he smells like ME!!!! People smell me before they hear me ok’ing and I’m a very loud well let’s say my presence will be know especially with my LVEB scent!Now…I make ya sneeze 🤧 then baby you need some Claritin or allergies are bad for you because it does not effect mine.And I can’t even wear gold because I’m super acidic so it has been very hard to get a sense that compliment in my natural thing me and my natural sense of sensitivity to gold and so much other stuff… Now there is a Lancôme scent that didn’t agree with me bc of my allergies & my sensitive skin broke out in a rash!Therefore I cannot wear because that one (although ... I received a sample of this for free from lancome #giftedbyLancome and here are my honest thoughts about it.First the patchouli is very strong and it’s kind of overpowering at first but then it dries down some and you get a strong vanilla smell which smells very nice. This perfume reminds me of something i wore as a teen but i cannot put my finger on it. Personally i liked it better when i sprayed it out on paper versus on my skin. It’s a very strong fragrance and i can see it worn by females late 30s early 40s. It’s not my favorite but what makes it good is how strong it is and the nice feminine quality of the iris and vanilla pairing. Overall 3/5

Absolutely wonderful! I was amazed that this fragrance has eluded me for so many years. I happened to receive a sample with an order and instantly fell in love! I immediately bought a bottle as my fear of the sample running it was real! I’ve since bought a second smaller bottle to carry with me. It is youthful yet elegant. It has great sillage (just be sure you moisturize prior to application), the compliments you will receive are endless!!Another tip: You can always apply more, but you can not apply less.This is a great smell on almost everyone! If it works with your chemistry, you will still smell unique and amazing! I highly recommend, I’m 35 and there is something about this scent that is addictive.
I loved the sample but it didn't last long enough to get a good feel for if it fit my personality so I ordered the smallest size to continue my testing period. Again, I absolutely loved it. The sale was fantastic so I thought I would fully commit with auto replenish and the large refillable bottle. Wow, the scent seems completely different, including the dry down. I am somewhat disappointed as I thought I had my perfect match. Plus love how the new bottles are refillable. What a bummer, will continue my search. Looks like Idole Nectar will be my go to standby again.
I love La Vie Est Belle. The scent has been the same all along so u don’t understand why someone would say the formula has changed unless they got a bad batch. I’m sure the factory has hiccups now and then but I’ve never had a problem and have been using this particular scent for years. I use other Lancôme products and whenever I’ve had an issue, they always fixed it and were gracious about it. My friend uses the same scent but it smells differently on her so maybe that other person’s chemistry changed. I’m not being paid to love the product, I just do. Just started by the refills to save a little money (and help the environment), but I can’t imagine what I’d do if they ever stop making it!
