I was impressed firstly by how much product I received vs higher end lip balms. It glides on thinly applying only what is needed. It stays on lips well enough but it must be worked in! If lip products aren’t worked into exfoliated lips, it can’t penetrate any barrier to truly moisturize one’s lips. This is an excellent base for cream and satin lipsticks .Can’t wait to try their other lip product!

I have very problematic lips in autumn winter season and I’m constantly looking for effective lip balm to soothe dry, irritated, chapped lips and skin around lips, and make them look nourished and healthy. This lip balm unfortunately does not help my lips a lot. The texture is very light, thin and dry, I was expecting it to be more rich and thick, more hydrating. This product requires reapplying like every 30-40 min, because it dries out very fast therefore it finishes very fast and have to purchase again. In my opinion it’s not a pod value for money, I would not recommend and would not repurchase.

My first impression of this product was a little confusion as moist of the label is not written in English. The only thing I can read on the label is “transforming care for very dry lips.” But, my lips tend to peel and bleed, so I was happy to give it a try. Especially after I read on the card inserted into my box that it’s recommended by dermatologists worldwide. first, I like the container as the lid slides all the way over the product instead of just being a cap on one side. I feel like this protects the product a little better than its counterparts. Second I like that it doesn’t smell or taste like anything. Third, I like that it’s not sticky as many similar products can be. It’s a little bit oily, but I guess that’s to be expected considering its function. ... I have sensitive, highly reactive skin and there are few non-prescription products that don't cause a breakout or irritation. This lip balm is perfect. It only ever soothes and conditions my lips with no adverse side effects and no breakouts along my lip line. I would highly recommend this product given its effectiveness and price point. Can't do without this. It's worth noting that I use it year-round. In the summer, I tend to use it only at bedtime (as it doesn't contain a sunscreen and my lips do not get as dry). In the winter months, I may use it more frequently throughout the day (as well as at bedtime) depending on where I am traveling to. In the winter months, I may use it more frequently throughout the day (as well as at bedtime) depending on where I am traveling to. Colder, dryer climates (i.e., below minus 4 Celsius or 25 Fahrenheit and less than 20% humidity) usually requires application multiple times throughout the day, but in the more temperate humid climates, bedtime is usually enough. If I'm outside, I often use a sunscreen stick for lips (so that reduces usage of this product). Given my usage rate, I've used about half the stick in seven months. That said, I notice a significant reduction in the volume of product left after travel in extreme cold climates (i.e., less than minus 25 Celsius with less than 10% humidity). The majority of use-time is in a more temperate, coastal climate with humidity typically between 45 to 70 per cent.
This lip balm sounded so promising. It's awful! It goes on extremely thin and is not buildable. Within 30 minutes it disappeared leaving my lips dryer than they were to begin. Forget it if your lips are dry and peeling to begin. I have had to scrub my lips with a hot washcloth to remove dry skin before applying each time and to no avail.I'm on to the next brand...
My lips has always been super dry and itchy. I've tried many products that dermatologist has recommended in the past, but nothing has worked. I love La Roche products for my super dry skin, so i decided to try this. I noticed a suddle difference in the past week. My lips feel less itchy and dry compared to before. So my advice is to just be patient! The only thing i really hate about this product is the price, otherwise i would have given it 5 stars.
Every time I tried this I was tempted to return. I love the brand, and this was the first product that did not work for me. It is "unscented," meaning no scent added, and it smells strongly of chemicals. I felt like I was having an allergic reaction to it based on the way the scent made it feel harder to breathe, but I wasn't. I have never been sensitive to smells, so I tried to stick with it in hopes I would get used to the smell. I never did, and in the process, I was severely disappointed with the performance of the product. It does not moisturize at all, and it actually seemed to be drying.
I am a lip balm fiend. I have one in every pocket and in every room of the house. Chapping for me can be a big problem and so I try really hard to wear lip balm at all times - I am obsessed.Of all of my lip balms, this one is my favourite right now. It acts fast on the first signs of chapping and stays on for a reasonable length of time. It has no flavour so it does not conflict with any other flavours I'm eating/drinking and I don't get bored of tasting it. I do actually have another one that moisturises a bit better but, importantly, this one is a twist stick meaning it is hands-free and easier to apply (no need to clean hands first - extra important in a pandemic - or wipe the excess off after). In my view, that makes it better because I'm more likely to use ... MoreI am a lip balm fiend. I have one in every pocket and in every room of the house. In my view, that makes it better because I'm more likely to use it. It won't do its job if I can't be bothered to put it on!The only thing I think would improve it is - considering we are heading into summer - I wish it had SPF. I'm going to try the Paula's Choice one when I next place an order, but until the sun comes out I am completely happy with this one!
This little tube of lip balm is expensive for what it is. I assumed this brand would have a top-knotch balm so I bought it. It goes on like an oily wax and doesn't leave my lips feeling hydrated or supple. One odd thing I've consistently noticed is that my lips peel after using this overnight. Is that a bad thing? Maybe, maybe not. It doesn't hurt when I remove the dry skin with a tweezer but I wonder if lips are more vulnerable in the sun after losing a dry layer of skin. I guess it's also possible that I'm allergic to it.
Always blown away by quality of LR-P products especially for my ultra sensitive, rosacea & peri oral dermatitis skin. However this one is lack luster. Yes, fragrance free & good ingredients. But, no moisture staying power. Also disappears and must constantly reapply. Best described as basic wax lip balm. Plenty of other cheaper options to keep sensitive lips moist.

La Roche Posay Nutritic Lips 4.7 ml
LA ROCHE-POSAY Buy Nutritic Lips (4.7ml) Regenerating lip balm has an immediate and long-lasting effect against dry, rough lips. BioLipids restore the natural protective barrier of the skin long-lasting. The BioLipid complex combines 11 BioLipids (from apricot kernel oil, coriander oil, black currant kernel oil, echium oil) in a delicate texture. Ceramide 5 strengthens the barrier function of the skin. The synthesis of all ceramide classes is stimulated and cell cohesion is improved. The skin of the lips is thus protected against dehydration and external influences. Replenishing and hydrating with shea butter. Shea butter is very similar in composition to the skin's own lipids and is therefore particularly valuable for the lips. Application Apply to the lips as needed.
