A very good build quality however the volume knob at the top feels a bit flimsy and not up to par with the rest of the product build. Thats one of the let down from otherwise an amazing DAP. Quite responsive screen and the sound quality is good. Im on 75% volume on mid-gain setting with 32ohm Focal headphone, would really wish that Hiby DAP could produce a louder volume. Battery life is quite good though I'm on class A/B amplification. As stated by everyone, cant really hear any difference between Class A and A/B amplification.

After a period of nostalgia using my iPod Classic, I went looking for a DAP that could satisfy my portable and desktop listening needs. I primarily listen through IEMs and a couple of studio headphones.I was certain that I wanted a Hiby R6 III as it offered Android 12 and a more up-to-date CPU in the Snapdragon 665. The UI is fairly stock looking and easy to navigate. While the IPS panel is a little dated, the screen spends most of its time off anyway. In my search for DAP, the Hiby ticked all the boxes and then some for me.- Android 12 (previously mentioned)- 3.5mm + 4.4mm- Bit perfect output- Rotary encoder- Micro SD support up to 2TB*Bonus- Class A output- MSEB- Adding files over wifi- DAC over USBThe reason I selected to buy this through Minidisc, ... MoreAfter a period of nostalgia using my iPod Classic, I went looking for a DAP that could satisfy my portable and desktop listening needs. I had a few players in my shortlist, from M3U, R63, and even R6Pro2.Hiby's OS & interface make them a preferred choice over Shanling. While I love the look of R6P2, the battery somewhere was a big concern. Lower battery life for a portable device worries me. Moreover, the battery will degrade over a period of a year and then it would make the device hardly transport worthy.Coming now to Hiby R6 3, it is a well built, easy to control, and a device with good battery life. In my 2 weeks of usage I have heard most genres of music and it has never felt harsh. The internal MSEB settings can really turn device from warm to cool, aid in changing thickness, siblance, overtones, etc.The device is thus very capable of playing the kind of tone that one prefers musically. ... MoreI had a few players in my shortlist, from M3U, R63, and even R6Pro2.Hiby's OS & interface make them a preferred choice over Shanling. I have only used IEMs and those were not tough to drive.Lastly, I would say The Audio Store are a very refreshing, helpful and an approachable place for music. I had many requests for my order, from delivery to a remote location to payment options, and these guys always tried to find a solution. Thank you for making the experience musical.

This is a dap which you can not deny. With proper settings it is an awesome sounding dap. You can get any kind of signature from it . If you can play with the settings, I am using u12t & one custom jr for this dap and getting wonderful detailed and a wide signature...100 % recommendation for this dap, I am kind of greatfull to Pritam for giving me such a value for money dap. You must warm it up...and if you are a casual listener then wait and use it for 7day and get familiar about all sound settings...best value for money dap
I still haven’t scratched the surface as far as the capabilities of this DAP are concerned, but what I have experienced so far is nothing short of amazing. The sound signature is quite neutral, but still alive. It drives my IEMs and full-size headphones with ease and allows them to “be themselves”. I purchased this out of need as the lightning port on my 13 pro max was getting dodgy. From my experience, it never gets better once that starts. But I will say this: even if you don’t “need” a DAP, you NEED this DAP. It is simply exceptional in every way. Highly recommended!
Everyone that's owned DAPs knows they can sound great but good lord they're soooo slow. This thing runs like a $3,000 DAP. As fast as as a modern cell phone. Sounds great. Class A is great. Not the most holographic sound but really sounds quite good. At the price it's pretty fantastic.
The Hiby R6III is a great DAP, at a reasonable price.Solid build quality, full featured, running Android 12, and good battery life between charges.Sound signature is middle of the road. Good resolution but not extremely resolving, but neither is it dark and dusky.Very much enjoying this one.

Hook it up with Apple Music or Tidal, and you're in musical paradise. No glitches, just vibes. In a nutshell, the HiBy R6 Gen 3 is like my music's personal superhero. It’s got the power, the chill interface, and it plays nice with all my streaming faves. Highly recommend for anyone serious about their beats! 🎶✨ #HiByR6Gen3 #AudiophileLife
The packaging was perfectly all right all the way inside but the device was switched on! It took only a light press of the power button to wake it from sleep. That was quite a shock but it turned out that the device is working perfectly fine and there are no issues with the battery either. The sound is neutral, just as I had come to expect after reading quite a few online reviews and watching YouTube videos. There is no thumping bass but what we hear is tight without any distortion and that's what I had come to like as I grew older. The soundstage is pretty wide and it gets mightily enhanced when the Class A amp is turned on and Gain is put on High. This however, drains the battery fast and causes warming up of an otherwise cool device. The streaming apps work ... MoreThe packaging was perfectly all right all the way inside but the device was switched on! This however, drains the battery fast and causes warming up of an otherwise cool device. The streaming apps work well. I'm subscribed to both Spotify and Apple Music. However, there's no way that this device can reproduce the Spatial Audio from Apple Music. I wonder whether Hiby can fix it with a software update. The lossless files work just fine, both online and offline. Offline DSD or MQA files play well too.The bundled case is pretty average.Overall, I consider my money well spent.
Solid built quality.Design is good.Neat and clean Interface UI.The sound is good and neutral as what i expected.MSEB feature makes this dap unavoidable.Value For Money.Very much enjoying this one.I'm satisfied with the product.Special thanks to Headphone zone community for teaching about audiophile.Thank you.
