I have really enjoyed using the Helios, the weight in your hand feels very balanced and the air pushed through is forceful. I like to use the concentrator nozzle for more targeted drying with my roots to give me more volume, shine and less flyaways. The cable length is generous too without being ridiculously long, definitely not too short for anyone’s needs. I can easily get from one end of my room to the other before the cable is taut. I bought this couple months ago and I love it. I was actually purchase first ‘’Elchim 8th Sense Run Digital Hair Dryer - Lily Rose’s’’ but pretty disappointed. Higher price but you are receiving in bad package. Except GHD rest of the brands such as Purlux, Halo, Babyliss etc. comes with in a simple box and bad packaging. Unfortunately those brands are not care for package and works not that good. However, I returned Elchim and purchased this hairdryer. It’s absolutely amazing, comes in gorgeous velvet travel bag, works perfect. Drying your hairs so fast and gives shine. You should definitely buy it. I have also Ghd hot brush and normal brushes too. GHD is the best brand.! If you give a chance you will never regret to buy it 👌💚

The GHD Helios is an amazing hair dryer and the best one I have ever used! I have long, very thick, curly hair that takes a lot of time and effort to blow dry usually. The Helios is a powerful hair dryer and manages to dry my hair beautifully in half the time, with better results than any other hair dryer I have tried previously. My hair is left smooth, shiny and healthy looking, with a salon-quality finish. The Helios design is stunning, and the hair dryer is excellent quality as you would expect from GHD - it is built to last. There are various power and temperature settings, and the cool shot button is really useful to set the hairstyle. This is a 5 star hair dryer and the only one I will be using from now on!
I love this hair dryer. It’s so powerful but lightweight and very easy to hold/manoeuvre. My hair is really really thick, the Helios dries my hair faster than any hairdryer I’ve used previously. I would 100% recommend. The different heat and power settings give you even better control. My hair is left smooth every time even if I’ve just blasted dry in a rush. The gold isn’t overpowering either, it looks really luxurious and the storage bag it comes with is a lovely touch. It’s definitely convenient to have somewhere to store it, you do have to take the nozzle back off for it to fit in the bag though.
I was so excited to receive this hairdryer and it did not disappoint! It’s lightweight, fast drying and surprisingly quieter than I expected! It has the perfect amount of power to dry my thick, long hair in under ten minutes. The power and heat options are easy to use. I think maybe having two nozzle attachments instead of just the one would’ve been better, but it’s still good regardless. The champagne gold colour is gorgeous and so is the red bag that comes with it. My hair feels soft and smooth! Highly recommend!

The settings are also easy to switch between without having to stop and double check. The cable length is very generous meaning you are not stuck in one spot until you are finished drying your hair. I was a little concerned with the gold colour as this is not something I would typically choose, but it is very subtle. It is very pretty when seen in person. The addition of the red case is a nice touch. For me, the only negative is having to purchase a different diffuser as my current one doesn’t fit the Helios. This is my first GHD hairdryer, upgraded from another professional brand and again – wow! My hairdresser has always told me they are the Rolls-Royce of hairdryers and she was not wrong. I have very porous hair and usually have to air-dry my hair before drying to minimise damage. I dried from wet using the GHD Helios and couldn’t believe how quickly my hair dried and I didn’t feel like I was doing any damage. There are great heat and flow options, good targeted heat with the nozzle and my hair was left super soft and bouncy. Also love the gold colour, which looks top quality. Thoroughly recommended, I’ll never go to another brand after using this.
The colour is gorgeous, I was a bit concerned as I prefer silver, rather than gold, but this is a soft gold, really pretty. The bag is also lovely, very festive for a Christmas gift, maybe? I was impressed how quickly it dried my hair, so checked and slightly more powerful than my previous GHD but it makes a huge difference. It feels light and has a handy loop for hanging on to a hook. I've had hairdryers in the past that come with a bag but these have been the cloth drawer string types that in comparison to this, feel flappy, loose and a bit unsecure. This bag has got a nice firm feel to it and keeps its shape so the hairdryer feels properly secure when stored away. The hairdryer itself is just perfect! It's a good size and doesn't feel too heavy like my old one. As my hair is long and thick, it takes a while (around 30 - 40 minutes) to properly dry and my old dryer would always give me an arm ache and hurt my hand. This one is lightweight and much more comfortable to hold. I took the claim of 30% extra shine with a pinch of salt since a lot of hairdryer brands claim to do something similar but its actually true with this hairdryer. I think it must have something to do with using the nozzle (which by the way, is easy to get on and off), it just makes styling a section more precise and concentrated which makes it look shinier and less frizzy and flyaway. Usually I'm left with a halo of frizz when drying my hair and now think this is maybe because my last hairdryer was too hot but not as powerful. The power on this one is incredible! I've never had a hairdryer that was as powerful as this, it's like proper salon style and didn't take half as long to dry my hair like it usually does. If you've got short or mid length hair, it'll dry in a fraction of the time it took me. It's also got a cold blast button when getting close to roots. I have tried to find negatives and critisms but I genuinely cannot fault it. Everything from the thoughtfulness behind the design of the product, what it symbolises and represents, to the actual product itself. I just love it and how quickly I can dry my hair, it's amazing and I love how good my hair feels afterwards. So, to sum up in 3 sentences why I love this hairdryer and highly recommend it, it's sleek and looks really stylish, the bag it comes with is beautiful (and good quality too). It isn't heavy, it feels nice to hold and doesn't hurt my arm or hand. It's powerful, my hair dries quickly, feels silky and is more shiny.
