I’ve used this blowdryer professionally for 2 years and I will *not* repurchase it. I will not recommend anybody to purchase it. If this blowdry was $75-$100 it would be acceptable but the $250+ price tag is a joke. 1-: Its loud as hell. All the girls I work with complain about how loud it is. 2: you can’t clean the vents!! It’s literally the dumbest model ever made. There’s this grate covering the vent so it’s impossible to completely clean so you’ll never get the best use of it. 3: for a blowdryer in 2023 it’s on the heavy side. Save your money!

This ghd blow dryer is my absolute favorite blow dryer I've ever owned.! My hair is past my waist. And it takes a long time to dry. But this blow dryer cut the blow drying time in half. This blow dryer is also a lot quieter than most blow dryers. It's lightweight, and the controls are in a perfect place where you don't switch them with your hands. There's several options for heat control to choose from. This is a very powerful blow dryer. I can't believe how shiny and healthy my hair looks from just one blow dry. I was hooked on this blow dryer for life. I highly recommend you get one and try it out for yourself.

I purchased the white Helios with high expectations and am not disappointed. Was on sale so saved a bit. It is a pricy item, however I’m very pleased with it so far. I recently went from long hair to short and needed to update my whole collection so Initially I bought the beautiful chronos hair straightener again $ but a great addition to my collection. I’m now looking to add the defuser but at $40 dollars I have to wait. It is not the first time I’ve used Ghd styling items . The first time didn’t work well. So hears hoping that the new range doesn’t disappoint.
My old basic hairdryer wasn't up to much so after purchasing some GHD Straighteners a few month ago and absolutely loved them I decided to partner them up with a GHD hairdryer. I opted for the Helios after reading all the reviews about how good it was and on GHD website they had a really good money saving offer plus free message printed on the actual dryer. I opted for the white one but also loved the burgundy option and champagne colour option. Absolutely delighted with my new purchase, it dries my hair extremely quickly and that's not even on the hottest setting and used with the nozzle eliminates flyaway, static hair. It's quite heavy but getting used to it now. Fabulous range of products 👌

I have mid length hair prone to frizz. The Ghd is amazing. I bought a large round Ghd brush and their heat defense spray and I have literally had salon/like Blowdrys just by drying myself with their brush (I’ve used non Ghd round brushes previously and they didn’t do anything for me). I have had perfect hair by blast drying my hair for about 3 minutes and using the brush to volumise my roots and blow the ends straight. No frizz, no fuss, long lasting shine. I look forward to washing my hair now!Only criticism it doesn’t come with a dust bag which I found handy for ... First of all, I love the hair dryer. It is the right weight, the right colour, the basic functions meet my every need. I have thick wavy hair, not the easiest to manage. I also recently gave myself bangs. Yes, I did. The hair dryer on its lowest heat setting quickly dries up my hair and finishes it nicely without having to fuss with it too much. I love it. I don't spend a lot of time styling my hair and it really helps me feel "ready". The price made me hesitant, but I'm glad I went for it. The only complaint I'd have is it is on the loud side, but it dries my hair within minutes so makes up for it I think. GHD, if you're listening, pls consider including a free pouch so that all your hairdryers have a nice home to live in! Sincerely, happy customer :)

The hairdryer is very powerful. I have thick hair but the hairdryer dries it too quickly, before I have chance to style it, even on the lowest settingsAlso, the on/off controls are difficult to manouver with one hand. Not very well designed in that respect. I expected better for the price. Maybe the designers should actually try the product themselves to see if they are user friendly. I'd heard such praise about GHD so feel dissapointed. On the plus side. It is lightweight.
I purchased this hairdryer as a replacement for my 15 year old GHD Air hairdryer, which served me well but was heavy. I was concerned about the weight of the Helios, and if it was worth the price. I'm so glad I went ahead with my purchase. This hairdryer not only looks gorgeous, it is light. Combined with a ceramic round brush, I somehow manage to give myself a smooth, professional, salon worthy blow-dry even with my amateur technique! Easy to use and manoeuvre as I work with the round brush at the back of my head. For reference, I have medium-to-thick frizzy textured hair, and a short bob. Overall I'm super pleased I made the investment. Just wish I'd done it sooner!
