I bought this item a month ago. It is compact and fitted neatly into the space. The light is very brigjt which I like. The suction is great and removes all odours. The only minus - its a bit noisy.

Bought it as it came with our new kitchen. Works well, good lighting and suction but noisy. Similar to our old Robinhood of 15 years ago. Disappointed with plastic body which was covered with oil quite quickly, even though we use it sparingly. Bought the roof vent kit for safety, in case of a pan fire, but now it may be pointless as the body and flue to the roof kit is all plastic.

Installed vented version and very noisy at any speed. Vibrating/buzzing parts and poor venting. will not even vent a tissue!!
Seems to suck okay but rather noisy and flimsy feeling. Instruction book not very clear. Sounds like I have to replace carbon filters every four months at great expense but can't tell this refers to my version from the booklet. The grill section is only about 48 cm so doesn't cover the standard 60 width of my cooktop.
The build quality of this product is absolutely cheap and nasty. The inside is flimsy and everything feels loose.We bought this range hood thinking it was easy to set up to recirculate.Well no it isn’t you still need a duct and to cut out holes in the cabinets, and filters and ducting. All the filters and ductwork has to be brought separately as it doesn’t come with the rang hood.Buy any other range hood, I would definitely not recommend this product .
The hood is very functional, it is as quiet except on the higher levels when you can hear it working otherwise limited noise. The controls are easy to use - once you know the sequence - can't complain - price was right and it is fully functional
We chose this unit as it was one of the few that would fit the cutout available.We are very happy with the effectiveness of the suction & the lights.It would gain 5 stars if it were a little quieter.
Bought this when renovating a kitchen, replacing an old and useless one that was designed to recirculate but had no carbon filter. This new one is flued directly through the ceiling, and works a treat on its medium and high settings, OK on low. I don't have much experience of other rangehoods, and didn't do sound tests in stores - would recommend doing so, as this one is louder than I anticipated (even on its lowest setting, especially so on its medium setting which is often needed) despite its good test scores in Choice. I don't know whether other units are in fact any quieter, just saying that it's loud enough to discourage using it when not necessary.
Due to small expectations of my owner-built kitchen, I needed an undermount rangehood for its small dimensions and then built a canopy type cabinet around it. It works fine but you do see vapours going up beside the canopy. Clearly, if I had more extensive overhead cabinets, the hood would work better. But it's lovely and does the job. The LED lights are about right intensity and on higher powers the machine clears the air (ducted outdoors in my case). As I had previously bought a fixed rangehood that didn't fit, I can see the undermount only has a baout half the filter surface area of the 'normal' one.
