I recently installed this rangehood into our brand new kitchen along with the Induction Cooktop and when it came time to connect the two the rangehood did not work. The electrician checked all of the wiring to no avail and we could not get the rangehood to turn on. Had to make a call to the Store from which it was purchased and told that a service call will be arranged. 2 days later received a call form a technician who came to service the unit. Initially he questioned the installation and basically tried to blame my electrician, however on asking him to fully check the unit he eventually found that the on off switch was faulty. This could not be replaced at the time and a part had to be ordered. Love the Hob to Hood function and it looks great but can’t remove the black plate to get to the filters and the manual doesn’t give you any information on how to either. Tried external websites and YouTube but can’t find anything, very frustrating Recommended to clean monthly, but can’t get to it.

Lovely rangehood, looks fantastic and functions well. Cleaning wise was a bit of a mystery due to lack of information in the manual and online. We worked it out though, there are two clips on either side of the front of the centre piece of metal (the piece that sits in the middle of the rangehood) if you pull down towards the front it will flap open towards your backsplash (be careful as it can come down with quite a force and could damage your backsplash) it is hard to open from new but will gradually get a bit easier. Filters inside just clip out for cleaning. We are happy with ours and love the hub to hob function, it turns on automatically with the cooktop, my only minor gripe with that is when it’s in automatic mode the light turns off a bit too quick for me ... MoreLovely rangehood, looks fantastic and functions well. Bought this for my new kitchen a few months ago, rangehood has been flawless.Very stylish and unbelievably quiet.Quality you would expect from Electrolux
The product is fantastic but installation was difficult. There are 2 screws that need to be removed internally to adjust its brackets. Very difficult to get them back in once installed
Scaled up to the integrated range hood and we haven’t been disappointed. Easy to clean, quiet and efficient! Would highly recommend it!
The manual on p8 for cleaning does not provide information on how to access the filters. The filters are behind a panel and no instruction is given as to how this panel is opened. The carbon filters are likewise behind this panel. On p12, under installation, step 1 requires the panel to be opened but the diagram offers no clue as to how this is to be achieved. Hopefully this can be sorted as I am looking forward to using this range-hood.
Another example of a great company, sold out overseas, selling but not abiding my Australian laws. Difficulty in trying to remove filters (to clean as recommended by company) and no mention of how-to in manual, unreasonable service to repair a faulty product ... Why should I pay $900 for a simple slideout rangehood when these problems present? Not the retailers issue but they should be sending customer reviews back to the company.
We have only had this installed one week ago. We decided to upgrade stovetop and rangehood. We do not regret it one bit. The Bluetooth works well. Recommend this product
