Buck 110 Folding Knife
The 110 Folding Hunter is a classic and traditional favourite! Buck's Folding Hunter was created in 1963 when Al Buck decided that a revolutionary locking blade knife was needed by outdoorsmen who wanted a sturdy knife but did not want to carry a long, fixed blade knife. He was right and the result proved to be the key to the company's future. The challenge was to combine the strengths of other folding knives with locking mechanisms into a good-looking, reliable product. It wasn't easy, but after a series of refinements, the Model 110 was unveiled. Within six months, this innovation was the hottest knife in the industry.

great for the collector. or for use if you got it at the right price ($45). the packaging on these collectors tin knives is horrible hence - 1 ⭐️. the tin cover is right up against the junk plastic display packaging and gets dented if care isn't taken with shipment or stocking. i bought several but the packaging was either damaged or the tin was dented on most. i managed to salvage a couple and returned the rest. i would advise buying this by itself so nothing can bang against it during shipping. or buy a bunch of clearance t shirts to cushion the blows.

Thanks MOM! Once you buy a Buck, you will buy another, I have a number of Buck knives, and I love them all for different reasons. The 110 that My mother bought me is special. I appreciate her every time I use this knife. Like Mom the quality and reliability is there every time you need it. The Buck reputation and sentimental attachment is ever present when you carry a Buck 110 Hunter. It is such a pleasure to use a Buck 110, it's timeless design, classic appeal, and a very capable knife for any application. If you aren't carrying a Buck, my advice is just try one, you won't regret it, and it won't be your last.

these are great knives. I have given away dozens of Buck Knives 110 Folding Hunters over the last few decades. I've been carrying one of them and a Swiss Army Knife since 1972. They take a razor sharp edge and hold them, well, long enough. This one is cool in the set, but the regular ones are great too. These are user knives. Guaranteed for life, even if you break a blade doing something silly, $10 gets you a new blade and the SPA treatment. That's Sharpen, Polish, and Adjust. It will come back shiny and sharp but still show your dents and chips in the handle.

I was pretty excited about getting the 110 at such a reasonable price, but now I know why these were stamped “120th” edition. Grinds are uneven and the blade has one heck of a recurve! It’s almost comical. Now I know I only paid $35 for this, but then they need to advertise that these are factory 2nd’s or blems because the fit and finish is just horrible. Mine also has pretty bad blade play from side to side. Good thing for free returns! Save your money people!
I'm glad I finally bought a real Buck 110. I've had copy cat lock back knives since I was a kid and this is the first real one. For sub $60 it is a very well built and robust knife. A timeless classic. The sheath I got has the updated belt loop rather than a belt slot, so it hangs a bit lower on the belt which is nice. The knife came sharp and after a few minutes on a strop it was hair popping sharp. Hopefully the edge holds considering how easy the sharpening was. I'm pretty happy with this knife and in all reality it is a great all round knife. So what if you use two hands to open it. I'm using it in hunt camp, not on tacti-cool mall cop missions.
The product itself is top notch. There is no “tin” anniversary box…just a ripped open cardboard box. That item sent me was a return with the manufacturers box ripped open. The outside shipping box was in perfect condition. Obvious there was a slight usage of the product by examining the blade pivot area that is marked up from opening and closing the blade. It’s a keeper at the price offered but was sold as new when it is not.
I’ve had this knife for over 10 years! Took it all across the globe (Nepal, Mongolia, Asia etc) and have always been impressed with how well it wore in and take an edge. Sadly; I lost it on a motorcycle trip this summer and replaced it with this twin! So happy they are still made the same with great quality materials and construction. Cheers to the next 10 years
I bought this knife in store (actually two of them) as gifts. It's a good thing I opened the boxes because both knives were obviously used...and dirty! See photos. Not only were the blades dirty, but they had obviously been in someone's dirty pocket for a while. There was visible grunge inside and neither knife opened/closed without making a grinding sound.Instead of returning them, I took it upon myself to "rescue" them from the staff with the key-to-the-cabinet. The blades were still sharp/good and there was no permanent damage that I could see. After spending about 20-30 minutes cleaning up each one, they are pretty much "brand new"...although I wouldn't take CT's lead and sell them to people claiming that they're "new".A very nice knife, but the staff at ... If a customer returns a product, you may want to inspect it before re-boxing it and putting it back up for sale. Either that, or whoever has keys to the knife cabinet is taking these things out for a spin and not cleaning up their mess. Either way, there is an obvious problem in the sports department at the CT store in S. Edmonton Common.(I'm thinking about sharing this experience with the Buck Knives Co. in Idaho - they might want to know how a major distributor is playing with their product and reputation).
This knife is the gold standard for lock back folding knives since 1964. The blade has changed it’s metal since the beginning but the knife is the same. All of the folding hunter style of knives have been modeled after the impeccable design of the classic Buck 110.This knife comes nicely polished and shaving sharp right from the factory and it’s covered by Bucks forever warranty, that’s for life! I broke the tip on one of the two 110’s I own and I sent it back for a reshaping (for a modest fee because of abuse) and it returned completely fine, looking even better than new and as sharp as can be. I could have had the blade replaced but I wanted to preserve the year marking’s for the year I purchased it and a new blade would have a different date stamp. Overall you ... I have included a couple of photos of the broken knife that was repaired by Bucks skillful technicians.
