In this price range, can’t be beat. With a P90 in the neck position, a coil taxable humbucker in the bridge, this guitar is very versatile. It’s got a hard tail. Actually reminds me more of a tele, but with the comfort of a strat. Not bad looking either.

A nice lookin guitarIt makes you want to play more often and it plays beautifully, with it's sleek neck and rosewood fingerboard, which Squire and Epiphone don't offer anything nowhere these specs, it has locking Grover tuners aswellIt was a bargain for the priceMy next purchase after being so amazed at the quality of this Yamaha Pacifica, will be a RevstarI've been absolutely blown away by Yamaha

I was confined boring in my room due to covid and after my order with in 2 days I received my new guitar. Thanks for fast delivery and good protection.Yamaha 311 guitar has very precise neck set up , you can adjust action as low as you want without buzzing.Great price vs quality performance. Visuals so nice.My opinion if you are using guitar processors to adjust reverbs , distortion etc...you dont need very expensive pick up magnetics.Guitar is very light , if you have pain to carry heavy instruments on your neck , this comes like a massage :).
It's hard for me to write a review, because I'm just such a rank beginner. I'm a retiree who just decided to finally learn to play the guitar. More than one expert said an electric is easier to play for a beginner. Many praised the Yamaha Pacifica series, and compared the 311h favorably to the 611. The price at Kraft Music was unbeatable for a new guitar with stand, a soft case, a tuner (which works well), a DVD (which I really haven't got into all that much--there's a bunch of stuff on YouTube to check out), pics, strap, etc. I think it's beautiful, and everything is working well so far--except for my fingers. But I didn't even know how to work the tuner when I first got it. I bought a cheap amplifier (Crate 10 amp, for under $40--which I also recommend), and now, ... I'm satisfied. Now, it's up to me, not the equipment. You have to bear in mind, I've never touched another electric guitar, so you can take this with a grain of salt.
Was a bit hesitant with this as it was marked lower price than the others. But there guitar has a much more mellow red than the picture, and looks gorgeous - friends have also commented on looks.Sounds great - hooked it up with a line 6, and now with a katana, and love the feel. The neck is nice and narrow enough, and the maple backing gives a really smooth travel.
I did some research on this instrument, I wasn't sure if it will meet my expectations, however the features, high quality materials, precision tuning head, build quality, tone, and versatility of the PAC120H made it extremely easy to use, and yes it goes above my expectations, for the price I'd say is the best choice for what the product offers, a perfect choice if you're a beginner or intermediate/advanced musician, 2 humbuckers will provide all the juice, and if you want something warmer, softer just use the push/pull coil split for even more tone variations. #Sweepstakes
As an owner of 8 guitars, from 12 string acoustic and 6 string nylon classical to strat, jazzmaster and les paul, this is by far the most enjoyable of them all! The combo of a P90 and humbucker gives the guitar wonderful options for sound. The stationary bridge allows for easy set up and intonation.
Amazing!!! Just how much did I pay for this? Can't believe you can get a guitar this good for less than £300. Just playing it through an Orange Crush at the moment and this guitar is so versatile and such a pleasure to play. I am used to more chunky Gibson type necks (never even considered owning anything like a Strat or bolt on construction) but I can't imaging anyone not being comfortable playing this instrument, it is really playable. The sound is pretty good too, the P90 is mellow and can growl in a most satisfying way with a little gain. The bridge humbucker is more than decent and does retain some clarity when pushed, which I like. The coil tap adds an other level of versitility and really does make a difference but it does loose a noticeable amount of volume ... MoreAmazing!!! Just how much did I pay for this? The finish is very good for the money and just looking at the guitar makes me smile with pride. Yes, I know it's only a Pacifica but it is rather b******g good and yes, I would gig with it, this is not just a beginner instrument.
This is my second guitar, it's an upgrade from the beginner one i brought originally. I spend a great deal of time researching many different guitars within my budget, this one in terms of price actually fell in the lower end of the price range however don'y let the price tag fool you. The quality of the guitar in really good, the neck to me feels lovely to play and much faster than my old one. The locking tuners and hardtail bridge ensure amazing tuning stability. The pickups are really good to my ears the p90 in the neck is great with all the lows and mids in the world with a lovely warm tone. The humbucker is in perfect balance with it too which makes the middle position one of my favourites. Turn up the gain however and this pup loves to growl. The coil split is ... All in all this is very versatile, well built and a steal at the price.
