I earlier using redme note 3 it was working fine. When I purchased redme note 9 it has lot of issues. In starting after MIUI 12 updates it start automatically restating 2 -3 times in a day. After a long wait patch was release and issue resolved but hotspot connectivity is another issue. Maximum time I m unable to connect laptop by Redme note 9 hotspot on the other hand when I try to connect hotspot by samsung phones its always connected without issues. I will not recommend this phone until hotspot issue resolved.

So disappointed about the performance and everything . . Every time i updated my system there's a problem with the phone , when i go to instagram and swipe through the stories. The phone get hanged , you may said that's because of the storage .. But its not... Im a big fan of redmi .. But this note 9 ... 👎🏻

It came with android 11. but there is a flaw that prevents it from downloading/uploading images with messages. Otherwise it would be great. Waiting on a software upgrade. hoping that fixes the problem with the APR.. .... Update... found a site that described how to update the APN Now it works like a phone. Next, found an app that deleted(disables) the bloatware. Now it works great!
Had phone for a week, so far very pleased with it, easy to set up, nice size with clear screen that looks good, read some independent reviews which said it could be bit slow using some of the apps but I haven't noticed this it all seems quite smooth, not had chance to use camera much but seems like I will be pleased with it, has a few nice things you can play around with altering pics. Battery is good lasts a good couple days if not overused and charges quickly. Overall for the price a nice phone and would recommend this
Very pleasantly surprised by the quality and performance. Works quickly and smoothly with huge storage. Camera not the best but fine for my requirements. Screen is very responsive and quick. It's no iPhone or Samsung, but for the price it is a bargain.
4 years ago a phone of this spec would've been cutting edge! I researched the budget smartphone market and this was the best for photography. Does everything I need, great screen, plenty of memory, good battery life. Headphone jack for the traditionalists, NFC for Google Pay, for 120 with a 12 month warranty, can't go wrong. Oh, and it takes good pics!
Great phone. I'm sorry if I insult anyone with the over expensive trendy phones but why would you spend so much money on these gadgets when you could buy this phone. It looks good and has an excellent camera also has good size built in memory. Try one I'm sure you won't be disappointed and it will save you alot of money compared to the trendy over expensive models.
So, I ordered this phone for my son as he loves xiaomi. The phone came quickly and my son loves it. He used it for two days at home with wi-fi. Then we went out and he realized that there is no service at all. We went to the nearest provider and they checked the SIM card - nothing wrong with the card. Same day he told me that the phone keeps asking for deleting some apps as there not enough memory!!! 128 Gb - really?I checked the storage and it says that there is 109 Gb files.So, the phone is not unlocked at all as a SIM card did not work and the memory is filled up with some files I could not find.Return it.Get the same phone from eBay and it works perfectly fine with SIM card and there is no hidden files.
Display problem within warrenty period. When I visit service center for solution, they said I have to pay Rs. 4000/- . Why should I pay money within warrenty period. They should replace display or replace it with new mobile. But they didn't. Very bad service center. I will never purchase any redmi mobile in future.....
