Build quality is good but definitely invest in a better phone case because the camera sticks out of the back a bit. The free case that comes with it is not that great. My first Xiaomi phone was MIA1. This is my second Xiaomi phone. I like that the phone unlock button is also the fingerprint scanner. I don't like that the home button and back button are part of the UI instead of the phone itself so it's hard to back out of an ad when it pops out. After a while that just becomes annoying when you need to back out of anything fullscreen
