Much improved Battery Life, excellent features, so worth the purchase price.Quick summary- this device provides high quality image in 1080p resolution with decent speakers and really works quite well. Built-in Android TV with virtually unlimited apps you can download and install. Awesome autofocus and keystone correction that just works by itself whenever you set up or move the projector. So much more facts that I love about this projector. Highly recommended.

After extensive research on looking for the right bedroom projector that can also be used outdoors for watching while in the hot tub and not owning one before we decided on the XGIMI MoGo Pro over others on the market. We got it in the Black Friday Deal and were a little bit reserved on what the quality would be like out of a little portable projector and if it would be bright enough in our bedroom.Safe to say we were blown away by the brightness and detail projected with a true 1980 x 1080 True Full HD resolution. I have really enjoyed using this projector. It is bright, sharp, has Android TV, is compact & portable, and just fun to use. I have used this for a couple of weeks, and have some thoughts. I was able to get a 10% coupon by signing up for XGIMI's mailing list, and for $500, this is a great buy.The Pros:-The MoGo Pro is very small and portable without compromising on image quality. The battery life is also decent.-The automatic focus is really nice to have and saves me time and sanity. You can also manually focus the projector with a switch on the bottom of the remote.-The projected image looks great, is pretty bright, and can go up to around 110" before the brightness starts to drop off. (This is with the power cable connected)-It has a tripod mount on the bottom, which allows me to throw this on either a Mini Tripod (I used the Manfrotto Pixi: https://tinyurl.com/ManfrottoMini) or a full-size tripod. This was almost a necessity for me.-While I prefer Roku, the Android TV interface has pretty much everything that you will need. I really enjoyed using the Plex app with my own content.-The remote is light, easy to use, and feels good in the hand.-It has an audio out jack if you want to hook it up to a home theater system, an external speaker, or some headphones with no noticeable lag.-The projector has Bluetooth, and I was able to connect my Bluetooth headphones, a Bluetooth speaker, and even a Bluetooth keyboard.-I was able to load music and videos on a thumb drive, plug it into the USB port, and play it on the projector.-The projector came in a double-layered package with Silica Gel and high-quality foam. It should make it to you in one piece. The "Okays":-The sound quality and volume of the built-in speaker is pretty good, but if there will be much background noise, or the sound needs to travel a long distance, I would recommend connecting an external speaker.-It didn't include batteries for the remote, so make sure that you have a couple of AAA's lying around...-On this projector, a 100" image is produced from 8-9 feet away. The Cons:-The battery life of the projector could be better. I was able to watch a movie on it just fine, but it didn't have much extra.-The screen brightness drops a bit when on battery power. If you are projecting less than a 100" screen, you will be fine, but if you plan to go bigger than 90", you may want to use the power cord. When I was researching projectors, I had some findings that I wanted to share with you. These are not all specific to the MoGo Pro.-First of all, projector brightness marketing is a lie. The XGIMI MoGo Pro advertises 300 ANSI Lumens of brightness. I have a friend who got a projector that claimed 5500 Lumens of brightness. While you would think that my friends' projector would be 18 times brighter than mine, it's really not. And from what I have read, this is not an isolated case. Don't bother with the manufacturers' brightness numbers. If you want to see how bright a projector is, read the reviews.-Second, unless you plan on projecting on the side of your light-colored house, any projection size over 150" is basically pointless. I understand that a 300" screen sounds cool, but trust me, 98% of you don't need your projection to be that big, and will never use it that big. I'm not saying to not buy a projector that can go that big. I am saying to not buy a projector JUST because it can go that big.-Third, don't forget that screen size is measured diagonally. If you need to convert hight & width to diagonal (or vice-versa), I would recommend this calculator: http://www.screen-size.info/-Fourth, don't forget the input. For the MoGo Pro, it has Android TV built-in, which will cover most of your needs, including YouTube, and all of the major streaming services that I know of. However, other projectors may not have Android TV, and before you buy, make sure that you also know how you will get a video to it. The worst thing is to get your shiny new projector and realize that you forgot to buy an HDMI Cable.-Fifth, some projectors may be able to go to big sizes, but the projector will have to be so far away from the screen that it is impossible indoors. Make sure the projector you choose can go to the screen size you want, at a distance that will work with your living space.-Sixth, if you have a light-colored wall, you probably don't need a screen, If you are considering a screen, hold a white sheet of paper up to the wall and compare how the projector on the paper looks to how the wall looks. That will give you a general idea of how much a screen will help.

Loving the projector so far, I’ve had it a few weeks now, using it as an outdoor cinema during the pandemic.Picture quality is great, it’s quick and easy to setup, the remote and unit itself feels and looks quality and the fact you can downloads apps directly to the unit is very handy.Just a couple of negatives/annoyances I’ve found so far..Netflix doesnt work out of the box but if you google a solution you can get it working in a few minutes. The distance between the hdmi slot and usb slot is quite small which means I can’t plug in my 4K fire stick without using external power source. The mini one may work but not surePlugged in my switch which is amazing huge screen but there is a slight input lag. Won’t affect some games but definitely will ... I got this projector 3 months ago and I’m 75% satisfied- please read below to learn more.CONS:-The Projector is not fluid and takes time to load applications and the home page. For 500$ I would expect a much better performance. I’m running on a 100MB/s connection and my Nebula Solar is blazing fast for the similar actions. I’m hoping XGMI will resolve the performance issue with its next release.-The battery does not hold charge as advertised. Also when I received the projector the battery was completely discharged which is really bad for the battery storage life.-The Harmon Kardon speaker is over advertised. In reality the sound quality is just normal compared to other projector. If you’re looking for better sound the Mi Smart Compact Projector is better, but ... If you’re looking for better sound the Mi Smart Compact Projector is better, but don’t go buy it just yet and finish reading this review first.PROS:-The Keystone adjustment & Zoom features were a must for me since I live in a New York rail way apartment and my living room is weirdly shaped requiring me to set the projector at an angle and about 7 feet from the wall-The image quality is amazing considering the size of the projector. It is bright and crisp.-It was definitely the best option for my needs out of all the comparable products I tested Nebular Solar & Mi Smart Compact Projector-It’s compact and looks freaking amazing!-It has Android TV and Bluetooth to connect to external speakers-Despite being Very slow, (sad!!!) the projector is user friendly and bug free. You know the XGIMI team put a lot of time at testing their product. Comparing Nebular Solar the software quality is better even though they both run on Android TV. (Netflix interface is better, Nebula gets in a error state after you turn it off, auto focus on Mogo is just better, keystone adjustment capability is better on Mogo, etc.)For my needs stated above the Mogo Pro was a no brainer even if I’m not 100% satisfied.Comparable products:-The Mi Smart Compact Projector was a good step above the Mogo pro from a sound (speaker) quality, image quality and brightness. However it did not offer Zoom and Horizontal keystone adjustment. Also it didn’t include a battery which the Mogo Pro has (not that I care, but could be useful one day if it doesn’t go bad before I need it).-The Nebula Solar performance is much better than the Mogo Pro, but that is it. (See above for comparaison) I kept it since I ended up getting it for free.
Glad to have bought the Mogo Pro this holiday season, now I call it a movie season! Full HD resolution, just right brightness for dark rooms, and wonderful sound is great to make this the right device for our bedroom in the evenings. Have been using it on our off-white walls, and still has engaging quality to it. While it has smart TV built it to play Google set of apps and others, I connect it to external stick on HDMI port for Netflix or use built-in cast feature and stream from phone/laptop whatever is handy. It has best auto-focus, and other auto features to make sure your display is perfect rectangular when projected from any angle, by scaling down on the Full HD (1080p) resolution. The remote is neatly designed with buttons not crowded together, but occasionally navigational keys hiccups. It also fit perfectly on the (strong) Manfrotto camera tripod. It has 3.5 mm audio out, so I connect headphones and watch a second movie, and not wake up anyone, how cool! Also used with Fire TV stick + Bluetooth headphones. Our wall gets a screen of 120" when project set at distance of 10 feet. Also project to the ceiling, and it's fun!
The color of the picture is great, and I love that you can change the sizes of the screen. However, the software is horrendous! One of the reasons I bought this projector was because it had Android TV on it. The Hulu freezes whenever you try to watch something (a known bug on their threads) and there's no Netflix which sucks too. You can find a way to stream outside of it, but it just doesn't look that great. The chromecast straight to the device has a low quality picture and also the audio seems to lag behind the picture. So I had to attach my streaming device to the projector and the picture quality is SO much better. I don't mind doing that, but it kind of defeated the purpose of me choosing this projector. Another reason I picked this was because you can view from any angle. However, I found that if you try to view from the side, the lines are all wonky and not straight. They look like stairs. So that was a disappointment and now I only can watch the project from a straight angle.Overall, for the price the MoGo Pro is an decent choice. I got it on sale and there was no sales tax. Just be prepared for some software technical issues. Some kind of streaming device should resolve it. I've decided to keep this projector, because I couldn't find any other ones around the same price with the same 1080p resolution and portable size.
I have bought this, and i have to say, the best projector i have ever bought. I'm not normally writing review, but this projector really deserve a good review.1. The battery is good enough for a 3 hours movie. Depends on how bright of the screen, you can go with longer hour.2. The brightness is really good. Despite many other producer says they can go with 500 ansi lumen, this 300 is even brighter and clearer.3. The picture projected out is very detailed. 1920x1080 is really clear and color dynamic is wonderul. It's best for movie. Make sure you close uour curtain during daylight. Otherwise, the projector is doing the best.4. It's really small and compact. All of my friend is extremely surprised how well it function. It's very handy while moving around. But ... Bought the projector upon suggestion of one of the salesman. Spent €580 on a product that does not work. Problems are the following:- lot's of problems with installation and need to redo multiple steps- does not connect to the wifi and thus cannot watch anything without HDMI- when using HDMI is super laggy and needs to load every 3 minutesBetter of buying a cheaper beamer instead of this expensive model that does not work at all.
