Woolworths Peach in Mango Flavoured Jelly 4 Pack

Great Plan B for Kiddies. I confess, I couldn't quite make my mind up about this one. I guess I imagined there to be more peaches, less jelly and a stronger mango flavour. The combination of peaches and mango jelly was an awesome idea although I found it lacked that distinctly strong "mango" flavour - I enjoyed it more though when I had a couple of dollops of Greek Yoghurt with it. That was rather yummy. I found myself thinking it could be a fun back-up to give kiddies when they come to visit as the whole thing upended into a bowl nicely and looked kinda fun. This raised it to a three star experience for me. I think if there were more peaches and a stronger mango flavour I would have given it a much higher score. Satisfied sweet tooth. First impression is fresh and fun, the packing looks fresh and the colour of the actual jelly in the see through container looks really inviting. The actual taste is pleasant, the mango jelly was subtle, wasn't overpowering mango flavour although I wouldn't have minded a stronger mango flavour, the jelly was also nice and smooth and soft. The peaches had a little crunch to them, (not a crunch from being picked to early, just the right amount of crunch) they were not mushy and falling apart, the smell was also pleasant. I like that the jelly came with 4 spoons which is very convenient. Overall I liked it, was a nice little snack. I'm sure my daughter will love it.

Quick and Easy Snack. The peach in mango jelly is a nice flavour combination. Pleased to see that the product has no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. However the sugar content is quite high per serving. The product is convenient and very popular with the kids who also liked the mango jelly. Its also worth chilling the fruit in the fridge and enjoying the product cold. I would consider buying this product in the future and would like to try other flavours.

Yummy treat. Found this easily thanks to the bright, colourful, fun packaging. The cups were easy to remove from the cardboard sleeve and I didn't have any trouble removing the soft plastic lid using the tab. The cups are cute and sturdy enough that I've washed them out and will use them as jelly moulds in the future. It smelt sweet and inviting and I couldn't wait to try it. The peach pieces look like they were mostly on one side but when I got further into it, it was distributed evenly with a good amount throughout the mango jelly. I enjoyed the taste and texture of the peaches and the mango jelly, together and separately. They have a 3. 5 star health rating which isn't too bad for a treat. It's a shame that it's a product of China though. $2. 20 for a packet of ... MoreYummy treat. Found this easily thanks to the bright, colourful, fun packaging. Not Australian. Great taste but made in China. This puts me off ever buying it again. Three star health rating. 17g sugar per 100 grams so each tub has more than 17g sugar. Therefore, very high in sugar. Has over 15 ingredients in the list including gelling agents and acidity regulators. High amount of wasteful packaging. Plastic tub, plastic pull off lid, cardboard packaging. I'd rather feed my children Australian canned peaches bought in large cans and taken to school in Tupperware. After about 5 minutes, I had a strange after taste in my mouth, even though i enjoyed the taste as i was eating it. Being made in China, who knows what additives are used and what quality control is in place. It's inexpensive, which is what consumers place too much importance on. Plus ... MoreNot Australian. Plus it's convenient as a snack for school because parents have nothing to prepare. Too processed, too wasteful, and unfortunately our supermarkets keep adding to the multitude of these sorts of products on their shelves. I'd love to see Woolworths return to more natural, home grown products. Someone needs to make a start.

Refreshing. I quite enjoyed these little jelly treats, although might add some custard next time. I think the balance of mango to peach is spot on. It isn’t very sweet and there is a good amount of peaches in it. I gave it four stars as the jelly texture just seemed a little to firm for my liking. Won’t stop me polishing them off though :0)

Cool Refreshing Treat. Woolworths Peach in Flavoured Mango Jelly was a pleasant surprise for the whole family last night after dinner. Low in calories with no artificial colours, flavours and preservatives was a benefit as well. Not always an everyday treat, but, most refreshing on a warm summer's day in Brisbane. Fruits are also an excellent source of fibre in everyone's diet. Great value for money. Thanks again Bunch!

Not Australian Grown, what a pity. Why are we importing fruit and not supporting our own growers? Yes it is a handy size and convenient, tastes OK. Woolworths please stop bringing in food from overseas, buy Australian grown and made/processed. Remember, you want us to support your brand, so you must support Aussie growers, "what goes around comes around"

0% mango flavour. Origin: Made in ChinaPackaging: Clear, catchy labels and colours with sturdy packaging. The carton wrap is recyclable but the rest (4x plastic containers & 4x peel-off lids) are binned. It is clearly packaged for convenience, designed as single serves for children or for those on-the-go. I find these types of packaging excessively wasteful and not environmentally sustainable. Taste/Ratio: The jelly part was firmer than normal jelly, not too sweet but had a ‘weird’ texture. The peaches are uniformly cut but pale and lacking ‘natural’ sweetness. There is a good amount of peach in each tub which is consistent to percentage used. I did not taste any mango flavour at all so whatever is in that jelly, it isn't mango. Overall, there was an artificial aftertaste that lingers in the tastebuds and Mr RML couldn't put his finger on the weird jelly texture. List of ingredients:Jelly (70%) (Water, Sugar, Gelling Agents (Carrageenan, Locust Bean Gum, Xanthan Gum), Acidity Regulators (Sodium Citrates, Potassium Citrates, Calcium Lactate, Malic Acid, Citric Acid), Natural Flavour, Natural Colours (Carotenes, Paprika Extract), Antioxidant (Ascorbic Acid)), Peach (30%). The above list includes ‘carrageenan’, a supposedly safe food grade gelling agent that still sparks debate depending who you ask. I’m also confused why it needs 3 different gelling agents (Carrageenan, Locust Bean Gum and Xanthan Gum) when they all have similar purpose: to thicken, bind or stabilise liquids. Price/value: $2. 20 for a pack of 4 is quite cheap but at what cost? I'd rather buy an 825g tin of Australian peaches for $3. 50 and in the process, support an Australian grower and help save the planet. Buy again: No. My first preference is to eat (or give children) fresh fruit, preferably Australian grown. If I need jellied peaches, I'll have a go at making it before resorting to imported jellies.

Super Sweet Snack. At $2. 50 at the time of purchase, this fruit snack is at a great price point for those looking for lunch box fillers or a cheap mid-day snack. The combination of peach and mango, while flavoursome and lovely is overly sweet. I am usually a very sweet person but I struggled to finish the tub, perhaps children would find this easier to demolish. I would recommend the sugar content be reduced, not only improving the health star rating but also enjoyment of the product. I am disappointed with the inclusion of the small plastic spoon, while it seems like a good idea it falls short. The size of the spoon makes it impractical in eating jelly, I had to swap for a metal teaspoon. The fact that each spoon is individually wrapped in plastic is also a ... MoreSuper Sweet Snack.
