Woolworths Original Wafer Crackers 100g

Wafer the way to go. Very often when it comes to crackers you look for a cracker that's thin as it's about the topping, right?I like wafer crackers for that reason best. Packaging: great orange colour use. Looks nice and fresh. The health rating shows only 2. 5 stars. I would like to see a better rating. You can use these crackers for so much more than just cheese. Think about just avocado with sliced olives or tuna or other fish, meat such has shaved ham etc. For $2 there are better options such as the beetroot flavoured crackers which would have my preference. I purchase these over the original one. Definitely worth to expand the flavour collection.

Wafer crackers. These were fantastic. They were a good packet size, good price, and plenty on the shelf. They are Aussie product. I got these out with some friends on Christmas eve. I told them it was a bunch sample and was given these comments: -nice and crunchy-hasn't snapped off in the dip-can hold a good amount of toppings -didn't go soggy when not eaten straight away (with toppings on) -firm, and not chewy at all like some other wafer crackers -paird better with sweeter and softer cheeses, compared to savory style cheese

Let's the toppings shine. Nice crisp thin wafer. Similar to an ice cream cone in flavour. They are a bit dry to eat on there own. I teamed it up with some camembert cheese and they were so yummy. Good amount in the packet so perfect for a share platter. 8 months best before date so plenty long enough to store some in the pantry for when needed. The plastic tray inside the package keeps the crackers in their place and prevents breakage. The package itself is very pretty and inviting with some windows to see the actual product which is nice.

Love these. A wonderful base for dips and nibbles. These are brilliant. A great price for a great product that works well with so many toppings. We enjoyed these with homemade Capsicum, cashew and sun-dried tomato dip. Instructions: Add the following to a blender and blend until chunky but consistent. · 30 grams of finely grated parmesan cheese· 1 teaspoon of minced garlic (or 1 peeled garlic clove)· 1/2 red capsicum, cut into quarters (seeds, white and green stalk removed)· 120 g raw unsalted cashews· 20 grams of olive oil· 10 grams of white vinegarServe immediately or chill in a non-metal bowl covered with cling wrap until required

Crispy, crunchy, good accompaniment. When competing with an already flooded biscuit market I think this Woolworths original wafer crackers is as good and even better than some of the name brands. The flavour of the 'original' is good. It doesn't over power a nice goat cheese. It has crunch, it's not soggy and limp. It's a great all rounder... highly recommend. Downers, the packaging contains too much plastic. Woolworths needs to stop this. Not reduce... STOP. Put these wafters in cardboard only, yes they can be confused with water crackers ... or maybe wrap them in a foil product that can go into the yellow recycle bin or a wax paper that can go into a compost. Great crackers. These are Aussie made, nice and crispy, and wafer thin. This makes these crackers great to carry any cheese, ham, smoked salmon or other toppings. On their own they are fairly bland and flavourless, so can be paired with quite delicate flavours without overpowering the flavour. Although a reasonable size pack, it would be great to see a large family or party size available, as one pack doesn't last long!The original flavour is a trolley staple in our household, however the other flavours are also quite popular, especially if you are wanting some different colours on your cheese platter!

Excellent for cheese and dips. I have purchased these Wafer Crackers many times so it was nice to receive a bunch offer recently. I always serve the crackers with cheese, dip and pate. They are great value at around $2 a pack and there are so many crackers in the pack too, so that also makes them very economical. The only ‘downside’ is they can be a little delicate when spreading the pate or dip on the cracker but the solution I have found is to pop another cracker underneath and it gives it a bit more sturdiness. Definitely will purchase again ☺️

Delicious cracker. Happy Christmas everyone!We enjoyed these today on our nibbles platter. The wafers were light, crunchy and had a pleasant taste that added to but didn't overwhelm the flavours of the cheese, salami and other toppings. The wafers also stayed crunchy even though there was some humidity around (other wafers have gone soggy, in my experience). Package was easy to open and you can clearly see the product inside. Price point is excellent. I will definitely buy these in the future.

Versatile snack. These wafer crackers are well packaged, they're protected by a cardboard outer, which means they came undamaged and the outer has appealing graphics. We really enjoyed this product, its crisp texture gives a great crunch and its bland flavour doesn’t overpower the toppings used. This wafer cracker is great as a savoury base or used as an ingredient in sweet snacks, eg we sandwich them with peanut butter and dip half into melted chocolate, delicious! They also make a great base for cute little mini pizza snacks. Overall a well priced, very versatile product, good value for money.

Great for entertaining. We love these crackers and have been buying them for a while now. They are no different to other expensive brands (in our opinion). I used them on a grazing board and it was enjoyed by all. For the price of $2, this is definitely a pantry item that I can take out whenever I feel like a snack or have guests over. Definitely recommend for others to try the beetroot and the sweet potato wafers too. I haven't had any complains from family or friends so far. I have them in my pantry right now, yum!
