Not bad for gluten free. We had these toasted - one with ham and cheese, the other with jam. They were enjoyable. If I was rating them against other (normal) croissants I would probably give 2. 5 stars; but the 4 star rating is due to the fact that they're gluten free. The size was impressive - larger than we expected. The croissants were quite dense, and the texture was a little bit crumbly. Not as soft & moist as a freshly-made croissant, but that's to be expected with packaged croissants. For a gluten-free product, I thought it was a good effort. To be honest I probably won't buy again; but if I was required to avoid gluten, these would def do the job as a croissant replacement and I would buy them regularly as a treat.

Good option for Coeliacs. As a Coeliac, I was super stoked to get a gf product to review. I had these many years ago and remember being disappointed so i was pleased to have another opportunity to try them. Firstly, gf products cannot be compared to non-gf products so please don't think this product will be like a "normal" croissant. The consistency was mixed - top half was almost perfect but bottom half was super dense. But overall a good option for Coeliacs. Best heated from the oven or grilled and served immediately. Will buy again

Good but not great. These croissants felt like bricks straight out of the packet, as so many GF bakery foods do. I followed the instructions on the packet and microwaved one of them and put the other in the oven for 5 minutes. The difference was unbelievable! The croissant from the oven felt so much lighter, with a lovely crispy and flaky texture and nice buttery taste. The microwaved one was still very dense and almost gluggy, not at all crispy and flaky like the one in the oven. As a coeliac, I would be happy to have these again as an occasional treat but would not bother with microwaving them. I would have given 4 stars for my review if the packet instructions had been to put them in the oven, as the quality of the one I microwaved was poor.

A solid GF option. I picked these croissants up and I must say I was excited to try them! First impression was that they are pricey for 2. Secondly, they are quite heavy! I heated mine in the microwave and just had it plain. It was pretty good for GF. It was reminiscent of a croissant, like a croissants cousin? Similar but not the same. Very buttery which is good for the lips but probs not the hips. I think these are quite passable options for GF users. It must be annoying to be a celiac and then have to pay more for croissants that aren’t as yum as normal ones

Probably best not heated up in the microwave. Not being a conisseur of croissants, I had an open mind. Followed the instructions on the packet to heat in the microwave. While it was quick and they were warm, they were neither pastry crisp or flaky. So will try the grill or oven or even air fryer next time. However with ham, cheese and homemade capsicum chutney, they were a no fuss, palatable and filling lunch. Little bit expensive to buy regularly but would buy again to be inclusive for GF friends.

Sacrilegious. I'm sure a French Baker would describe these as sacrilegious. However, as the average Australian these were amazing for a gluten free product, if you ignore the instructions. Microwaving the croissants makes them soggy and wet. I cut them and after adding filling put it in the sandwich press. This left them warm and crisp on the outside and deliciously soft on the inside. Would buy again, but reccomend that the instructions be updated to include warmup in an oven or sandwich press rather than a microwave.

Indulgent croissants. Croissants can be indulgent and that is true of this gluten-free version. They're rich, dense and buttery. I limited myself to just a half for lunch... tasty with melted cheese, lettuce and tomato. These croissants are quite flaky, so I warmed them first just for 15 seconds in the microwave - not everyone's choice, I know. They held together a little better this way. They were a special treat for me; I didn't share and did enjoy them.

Dry. It smelt really good and buttery. Looked good too. I was excited to try a gluten free croissant as I have a gluten free member in my family and are always looking for yummy gluten free food. This wasn’t it. For starters I don’t know why the only directions were to warm in the microwave unlike what I would normally do in the oven. There should be an option of warning in the oven. Microwave food is rarely as good as oven cooked. Tasted horrible and dry and flakes of it went everywhere. All 6 of us tried a bit each in case one of us liked it. We all disliked it. would not buy again

Delicious gluten free alternative. I really enjoyed these croissants, they didn't fall apart unlike other gluten free croissants I have tried i the past, and they tasted nice and fresh. The croissants do have to be heated first so they are soft but who wants to eat a cold croissant?! 40 seconds in the microwave was plenty to make it soft but not steaming hot. As a Coeliac, I'm always excited to try new gluten free products, and I think these will become a regular purchase. Thank you for the opportunity to try!

Reasonable. I heated one in the microwave and one in a normal convection oven. One I put the sweet and tart plum jam, the other cheese. The first was nice and tasty, the second was also tasty but cheese and croissants don't really mix. I was just experimenting / having fun. From a texture point of view they are rather rubbery compared too normal croissants. However, it is good to see Woolies expanding their GF range, even though I am gluten tolerant. All that said, we, (the family) are not regular croissant consumers at home, we normally partake of them when we are holidaying. Something, we haven't done much of lately!!
