Winix A230 360° All-in-One 4-Stage True Hepa Air Purifier

It works great! My only negative is I like to sleep with white noise, so I'd prefer to hear the fan, but in sleep mode it's so quiet it doesn't work as white noise. When it's on as usual the lights are too bright for sleeping, but it's a small issue really. It works just fine.

Bought this air purifier for a family member and so far it seems to be keeping the room free of dust and odor. Hepling to breathe better at night too. Not as quiet as I thought it would be but bearable. But, it was on highest setting too. Seems to be satisfied.

Very quiet. Auto settings detect when the unit needs to increase the fan for more filtering. Easy to remove and clean the filter. This unit is best for a room under 300 square feet. Seems to really help cleaning the air.

Attractive design.. Doesn't function as advertised

The Winix A230 360 looks great, but sadly doesn't adjust the fan speed as expected. The sleep timer works, and I can adjust the fan speed manually, but it doesn't seem to react to any smoke, vapor, or other air pollutants. The first air purifier I purchased (different brand) was unavailable, so I went with this one which claims to function similarly. The touch reactive panel on top is clear and bright, but unfortunately doesn't have a digital display like the second air purifier. I spent close to 100 after tax for on this thing. I've yet to see the "air quality indicator" change from any color other than blue, and the "Smart Sensor + Auto Mode" it claims to have don't work. If these are features you're looking for, look elsewhere.

Bought new but i think it was used.

Purchased item on August 23 and Target originally stated it would arrive on August 27-28. However it did not ship until after that date and finally arrived on September 4th. Box had been opened and re-sealed. No packing materials inside the box. No instruction manual or warranty sheet. Filter was bent. I get the feeling that it may have been used and returned and nobody bothered to check the packaging to make sure everything inside was in like-new condition or that stuff wasn’t missing.

Cheaper and better than Levoit Core 300

As my title indicates, it is a cheaper yet better than the Levoit Core 300, which is what most people in this size would purchase. Having had both now, I would choose the Winix. It detects pollutants in the air and the automode kicks in. Perfect to have in the office. The black color is especially appealing.

I'm Sorry I waited So Long!

I use my air purifier at night in my bedroom. To my surprise I'm not coughing like I normally do! That's a big plus for me. When I get up in the am, I bring it into my sitting area. It very light and easy to carry from one rm to another.And...it's extremely quiet! Love that part! Really-if you are like me constantly clearing the throat & coughing,, get a Winix air purifier. It's like sitting on your patio.....☝️fresh air!🫶

This Thing is Great!

Have had it one week. Exceeds what I was expecting. If you have any kind of smoker, get this. This unit is a no-nonsense, basic excellent air purifier. It's a little dynamo powerhouse. The features are are extremely useful. The PlasmaWave tech is great at varying the speed when it's needed. Extremely easy to set up and use. I now leave it on 24/7. This unit's air sensor mode ("A") is better than filters with motion sensors, because it activates on air quality, not presence. I will get another.

Love love this air purifier! Its super sensitive and picks up the smallest changes in the air. Never knew my dry shampoo was so toxic! We have this in our best and absolutely love it! It even has a silent mode for night.

great purchase

i have had the larger Winix 5200 for 2 years. It is helping control our air quality and allergies. It was an easy decision to buy the small winix. We have one in the primary bedroom and one shared by guest rooms that adjoin. we sleep better! we breathe better. The machines are quiet.
