I bought this because I like using a double boiler for things like chili and pasta sauce since both will stick without constant attention. I actually haven't used it yet but I will soon.
This double boiler is perfect for my needs. Quality feels good - has some heft to it, definitely not flimsy. I'm using this to heat large quantities of milk to make yogurt. Previously I'd have to do 3-4 batches, so a great timesaver -- glad I finally purchased this!
Best we could find on the market for the money!! Nice and heavy. Thank
