Westinghouse WSE6100SF Side by Side - Clearance Appliance

Finally, I have a fridge I can store a weeks worth of fresh food, a freezer that actually freezes the food, and a stylish looking appliance. The only slight minus, I have to wedge the celery diagonally, but I can live with this. What I like best is the three ice trays in the freezer, and the two vegetable draws, so I can keep fruit and vegetable separate in the fridge.

A very good, customisable fridge

We have had our new Westinghouse fridge for several weeks and love how adjustable the serving is, enabling us to customise the storage to our needs. We came down in size from a separate pigeon pair fridge and freezer and so were concerned the Westinghouse might be too small. We are, however, pleasantly surprised at how much storage this fridge provides for it's compact outside dimensions.The various storage bins and compartments are perfect.We would recommend this fridge.

Good, quiet fridge

Very nice, quiet machine. Overall spacious, but side by side fridges have narrow compartments. Freezer has only 2 drawers - rest is open with items falling out when door is opened. This was not our first choice, but only one of a few that fitted in the allocated space in the kitchen of our new house.

Pros: love the overall look, size and internal configurability. Like the lockable medicine tray too.Cons: the handles do extend down quite a way, almost to ground level. With a toddler in the house this just makes it so much easier for him to yank on the handles - hopefully they don't break easily! The only design feature I find annoying is the top compartment in the fridge door, the lid does not stay open, so its a two handed operation to get margarine/cheese/whatever out, which when you are trying to grab a few things at a time is a pain in the A!

Pros: looked at many and this was the best because of the good strong shelves on the door and holds all the milkx6, fizzyx4 and sauces really well, there is so much to store just on the door shelves alone, veg and fruit bins great, and meat bin excellent too, kids love the ice partCons: We do have to pull the whole F/F forward to allow the fridge door to go right back to totally pull out the veg bins, but not everyone will have the side wall as we do. Only when doing a full clean so no biggy.

Love the features

When the fridge we originally ordered (another Westinghouse) was too large to fit through the door ... oops! ... Appliances Online swapped it out for this one.It may not be a French Door unit, but we are very happy with it. The 'holiday mode' is great as it is at our weekender, so saves us on the power bill. The 'drink chill' function is perfect for reminding us to remove the bottle of bubbly from the freezer before it ends up as gelato :)Its nice and quiet ... but my husband still tells it off when it yells at him for leaving the door open LOL.Overall, very happy!

Love this fridge

My sad kitchen life has been revolutionised by this purchase! No longer do I lose small bits of special things in the back of an elephantine refridgerator. No more fighting through the dead and dying to retrieve leftovers - all is stacked neatly and conveniently at eye level. The crisper keeps things crisp! The freezer could be larger - or I could store less? I now whistle as I work.

Quick, good price, great fridge

I spent a long time looking for the best prices through sale periods. Appliances Online offered the best value when you consider the delivery and removal of old fridge.The boys arrived exactly when they said they would, 1 working day after the order was placed.The fridge is great, went with the smaller version in the end and haven't noticed the difference. Looks great, Australian built, the most configurable shelves of any fridge I saw,. Although not sure why you need a clock display inside your fridge...

This fridge is deceptively big - good storage and after having freezer on bottom and fridge on top for previous fridge this is so much more convenient. Appliances on line took away our massive old fridge free of charge so great service. Would use again.
